“Personally, is like to get out of this immediate area before something happens with these golems. Let’s take the spears up to the main area and see where they go. They might work something like a key.” Ransyl continues collecting the spears and heads back.
"Yeah..." Kirinar says, looking nervously at the reforming statues. "Let's get clear of the arena before these things become whole and get released again!" He will help gather spears and walk back to the ground level, looking over his shoulder towards the cells every few moments...
Keyleth scoops up a spear too, and brings it up to the main level. "I say we pop these things in those statues. Surely that fight was our ticket to another puzzle cube, no? Then... it's getting late and we've been exploring these ruins for quite awhile. I bet we can find a nice abandoned house around here somewhere to sleep in, then back for more cubes tomorrow."
Four statues of Omuan warriors stand in alcoves to either side of the main room, overlooking a barred gladiatorial pit in the floor. Each statue looks like it was meant to hold a spear, but its weapon is missing. On the far side of the chamber, a stone pedestal stands conspicuously bare. A relief on the wall behind it shows a monstrous jaguar with six snakes protruding from its shoulders, fighting off a squat, frog-like humanoid armed with a spear. To the left of the relief is a narrow tunnel with stairs leading down.
"Keyleth, when you looked this over before the statue-fight, you said something about this wall relief behind the pedestal depicting Shagambi (a kamadan) fighting Nangnang (a grung). And this inscription, here, tells the story of how Nangnang stole Shagambi’s spear." Kirinar says, pointing out the features on the main level. "But you also said that you noticed tiny holes in the relief, and that the pedestal has a stone hatch in the top of it. So I guess putting the spears in the hands of the warriors will release the hatch and disarm the trap?"
"Something like that... I'm thinking the trap is triggered by trying to force it open, maybe, instead of using the spears. You're pretty hurt though, so if I'm wrong... do you want to stand outside, just in case?"
“Aubut much that I am interested in seeing what will happen - in the name of science you understand - I think that I too will stand outside.” Dr A says

Kirinar smiles at his friend. "And let you find the treasure unsupervised?" He playfully punches her in the shoulder. "I'll just stand to one side of the holes...Besides, if I'm going to die, I'd rather it be with you."
Gathering the spears you place them in the hands of the 4 gladiators statues. When all four spears are placed in the hands of the statues the pedestal begins to turn on the spot, and an ornate stone cube corkscrews up from a hatch in its top.
You quickly grab the cube and add it to your collection.

Keyleth walks out of the shrine, making some uncomfortable glances toward Kirinar after his comment, and shows Dr. A and Ransyl the spoils of their battle.
"Four down... five to go... Time to camp, I'd think?"
She glances around at the nearby buildings, looking for one that seems to be in reasonable condition and also free of signs of occupants.
Moving out of the shrine you check a couple buildings just north of the shrine. You find one that doesn't look disturbed and that you could probably safely spend the night.
You are awakened overnight by strange sounds and the movement of unseen creatures in the streets outside during the night. Unless you choose to go out and investigate nothing disturbs your long rest and find yourselves refreshed in the morning.
On Kirinar's watch, he positions himself near the door and readies his shield and yklwa to repel any intruders, but none come. He breathes a sigh of relief as the creatures pass by the house... (Long rest it is!)
Timber stretches and yawns. His refreshed magic tingling his fingertips. He pulls out his pearl and let's the morning sun recharge it as he breakfasts before packing up. "Well I am recharged and ready to go when you guys are!"

“I’ll head out with Dr A.” Ransyl limps out. Using his battleaxe like a cane.
