Skeleton 1 [dead] Henry's shard of ice shoots through the jungle and hits the skeleton right between the eyes. The skeleton's skull shatters from the impact, and whatever was holding its bones together dissipates
Skeleton 2 [turned, -3] The second skeleton, which now seems confused, runs back towards the camp with a gravelly yell. When it sees Jasuri, it lets out another scream and runs back into the forest.
Skeleton 3 [dead] Gimdir brings his axe down hard on the skeleton, and it collapses into a heap of bones (much like the first skeleton)
Skeletons 1 and 3 are dead, the second skeleton is 40 feet into the jungle. Roll Initiative for round 4
Gimdir doesn't spot any other threats back at the camp.
Henry is able to fire his bolt of fire just as the skeleton runs out of range. Henry is too far from the skeleton to tell if his firebolt hit, but the faint clatter of bones suggests that he did.
The skeletons appear normal (except for their glowing forehead triangles), and were most likely animated by an Animate Dead. Each skeleton also has a glowing blue triangle on its forehead. The triangle seems to have been painted on with some sort of magical paint. Henry can recall the zombies the party fought in Port Nyanzaru also had triangles painted on their foreheads.
Initiative order for round 2: ( S2, S1, Henry, S3, Gimdir, Jasuri) [Good job guys 2 natural ones on initiative]
Skeleton 1 [turned, -6] The first skeleton runs 30 feet into the jungle. It seems to be less affected by Jasuri once it is farther away.
Skeleton 2 [turned, -3] The second skeleton runs away with the first one. It also seems less affected by Jasuri now.
Skeleton 3 [attacked by Gimdir, -12] The third skeleton snaps out of its trance when Gimdir hits it and attacks with a shortsword
Attack against Gimdir: 12 Damage: 3
Skeleton 1 and 2 are 30 feet away from the camp, skeleton 3 is 25 feet away in the jungle in combat with Gimdir.
Henry pours a drop of water in his hand as he chants in Aquan. With a flick of his wrist, he sends a shard of ice flying at the fleeing skeleton 1
Attack: 15 Damage: 9
All creatures with in 5 feet make a Dex 13 save, half of 4 cold damage on a success.
(still no shield, wielding the axe two handed...)
Gimdir, seeing red, swings his axe in an effort to send the skeleton back into the jungle...
Battleaxe Attack: 17 Damage: 10
(Who is up? Jasuri? Are you still paying Scamper?)
[ooc : I'm around but Scamper was asleep last we left off.]
~♡~
(oh right haha. Jasuri hasn't been active for a little while :/)
Final skeleton's initiative: 17

Jasuri Silverhands || Tomb of Annihilation
Initiative order for round 4: Skeleton, Gimdir, Henry, Jasuri
The noise from the screaming skeleton crashing through the forest is now enough to wake Scamper up.
Skeleton: The skeleton continues to scream as it runs 60 more feet into the jungle. (It's currently 100 feet away)
Gimdir let's his rage fall and goes to get and equip his shield in case more come out of the jungle.
If Henry can still see the skeleton, he will chant in ignan and fling a firebolt in the skeleton's direction.
Attack: 17 Damage: 10
Sorry about being inactive for a bit there, I honestly just didn't see that people had posted, but I should be posting regularly.
Jasuri will throw a javelin at the skeleton.
Attack: 21 Damage: 7
Jasuri Silverhands || Tomb of Annihilation
Gimdir doesn't spot any other threats back at the camp.
Henry is able to fire his bolt of fire just as the skeleton runs out of range. Henry is too far from the skeleton to tell if his firebolt hit, but the faint clatter of bones suggests that he did.
Henry investigates the skeletons, and with the help from Fizz tries to determine the source of magic that animated them.
Arcana (Adv from familiar help): 24
(He is looking to see if he recognises the magic, can determine its source, track it, etc)

Henry will pass on the information to the group. Once done, he will break camp and gesture to Musharib to continue them on the way!
(Gimdir was on second watch. We still haven't had a complete long rest?)
(You have completed a short rest. It is about midnight right now.)
