"Lexi's my friend, not my mistress," Riannis squeaks back in slightly offended tones before taking off and flying a few feet above Conor's head, following him invisibly.
"Whatever," Riannis squeaks, the offense already gone from her voice. She keeps zooming above Conor's head, occasionally going a little ahead when the man they're following turns a corner so as not to lose sight of him.

“When he reopens his shop... that could be awhile. A shipment arrived only last night, but there’s no work being done. Not so much as a clerk to take orders. You run a shop - a fine shop- directly across from his. Don’t you think it’s odd? I’m afraid this may be the last box he ever makes. We’d be giving at away almost at 30.”

Arc is interested in the debate between Galius and the shop keeper hoping they can get more for the chest. When appropriate he will speak to her. "Indeed it is strange that yesterday there was so much activity around Kwenthro's yesterday and today there is almost nothing happening. What do you know about the robed workers at Kwenthro's and what are their normal hours?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The woman looks up at Galius and smiles, "I will give you twenty, since you are obviously so passionate about it." There's a hint of condescension in her tone. She counts out twenty suns and stacks them in front of you tantalisingly. Her head then turns to Arc, he eyes lighting up at the chance for some gossip, "The silly old fool closed his shop a couple of weeks ago and only takes night-time deliveries now. He will be ejected from his guild if he continues." She chuckles at the prospect. "As for robed workers, I was under the impression that Kwenthro had only two employees, and both were his sons?" She doesn't seem to care, but phrases it as a question anyway, with her eyes starting to drift back down towards her scrolls. "Will you be taking my offer or not?" She says, eyeing the coin stacks.
Conor follows the youth at slightly quicker place, eager to catch up. His quarry moves up to the busy crossroad near to the bridge crossing, where fancy merchant stalls accost annoyed nobles at the side of the streets, and wagons bearing cargo for the distinguished burghers roll across the roads.
The young wiry man quickly darts into the throng of the crowd, knocking into a couple of irritated sunblessed matriarchs chatting in the middle of the path who almost scream in protest as he burrows his way between them.
As Conor makes his way past the annoyed women and enters the throng, his short stature fails him when trying to peek over the tops of wagons and tall sunblessed. He eventually pushes out onto the other side of the crowd after almost being knocked over by a prudish old human woman dressed in aged silken garb. There are a number of avenues that the man may have taken, as well as side-streets. It appears that the man has escaped.
“You have a deal, miss. A pleasure doing business.”
Galius let’s Arc collect the gold, and steps outside, ushering Alexia and Azrael. Once all four of them are outside:
”I have to say, my interest is piqued. Night deliveries but no work for weeks. Secretive business dealings. Robed men and no sign of Kwenthro or his sons. I think it’s time for some skulduggery... speaking of which, where did Conor go? Wasn’t he here?”
Arc is happy to gain the 20 suns for the chest and hands it over collecting the money. (OOC: That is 4 each if my math is good, add to your stock.)
"Thank you Madam, you have been most helpful. What kinds of scrolls to you have here? I am interested in purchasing the right kind of scrolls if you have them."
(OOC: Arc is interested in any spells that might supplement his spell preparations.)
Conor curses in frustration as he lodes sight of his quarry, with too many options he returns the way he came from looking to meet up with the rest of the group, making sure Riamnis is following along. "Well maybe next time, it makes me certain there is something going on."

Az remains with Arc in the shop while he continues to do business wary of this seemingly free and cocky sunblessed whom obviously enjoyed a much better life than Az. She remains broodly inspecting the woman and the shop for anything out of the ordinary or suspicious.
Just before arriving at the shop Conor, moves to a quiet spot, out of sight of passers-by and releases the illusion on his form, returning to his original appearance, he then carries on back to the shop joining the others adding to Riannis "the spell is our secret, ok?"
As he reaches Galius and is asked about where he was he replies "I was watching the shop, so was someone else, when he saw me he ran off, I lost him in the crowds. He was working as a shoe-shiner, there is definitely a reason to look more carefully at that shop - unless of course you have learnt anything in there?"

Riannis nods solemnly at Conor's words about keeping the spell a secret, then sits cross-legged on his head, happily looking around and enjoying being at head level with all the people. She flickers into visibility when he rejoins the group, and follows the conversation attentively.

"These?" She holds up the yellowed scroll and lets it roll down to the counter and over the edge. "I'm not sure this is your kind of reading material, my metallic friend." She says chuckling to herself. Before she rolls up the scroll, you could swear you saw some interesting illustrations decorating the parchment.

There's nothing here that really catches your attention. Everything is too extraordinary to really count as out of the ordinary. However, it all seems like mundane trinketry and bric-à-brac.

Arc tries to make out the illustrations as he agrees with AZ "Yes, indeed we should stay together. Thank you. I am scanning my memory for memories of those illustrations. If I remember something important I will inform you." He continues outside to see what the group wants to do next. "Azrael, what do you suggest we do now. I agree that there is much mystery surrounding Kwenthro's place but I see little that we can do at this point. Do you suggest we continue our search here or should be look elsewhere in town for our work?"

"Although the situation with Kwenthro's shop is curious I think maybe we should try another task that might be...," the fallen angel pauses looking anxious, "less likely to get us in trouble with the local law or noticed by the church," she adds her tone nervous as she continues to look around them. Az knows it's not going to be a popular opinion but she has to share her concerns again. "I am not saying abandon it completely but possibly find a few easier tasks to earn coin while keeping the other in mind. Maybe gathering more information on this new business venture of Kwenthro's," she explains. "What about finding the seafolker again? Ishaz has got to have an idea or two," she adds.
