Arc tries to make out the illustrations as he agrees with AZ "Yes, indeed we should stay together. Thank you. I am scanning my memory for memories of those illustrations. If I remember something important I will inform you."

"The most important step a person can take is always the next one." -Dalinar Kholin; Oathbringer
Alexia frowns and nods. "I'd...like to try and stay under the church's radar too, if possible," she says softly. "I'm not exactly the kind of person they'd...find desirable. Or in any way feel remotely kind towards." She shifts, clearly uncomfortable, and continues to stare at the ground.
"All this concern about the church, don't worry so much, yes if the constables caught us breaking in we'd be in trouble but it isn't a matter for the clergy. I'm sorry but I just can't walk away from this, I need to know what is going on in there. Alexia even if you don't want in, can Riannis give me a hand? I'm not going to steal all their stuff but I want to know what is happening in there." Looking around the group for any sign of agreement, the little rogue continues "I'm planning on getting up onto the roof and seeing whatever there is to see, I'd like to open the window and have our invisible little friend do all the dangerous stuff, ideally, and I'm willing to wait until they come back at night and try and see what is up. So, who is with me?"

Galius casts enhance ability on Conor for the advantage on Dex checks.
”Good luck, Conor. You’re not wrong in this. Something isn’t right. And standing idly by is not the way of faithful men. Or women. Or... others.” GAlius realizes he sorta put his foot in his mouth while trying to encourage everyone. But take a point of Inspiration Conor
Alexia frowns at Conor. "I'm a half-elf. It doesn't matter if it's clergy or constables, attracting the attention of authority spells disaster for me. However, if Riannis is up for it, she's welcome to join you." She just frowns wordlessly at Galius.
Riannis squeaks cheerfully. "I totally want to go! And I'm totally fine with doing all the dangerous stuff you big people are too scared to do!"
Alexia shoots Riannis a slightly annoyed look, but looks like she can't be bothered to contest the statement.
"I may not agree with your plan but if I had a good divine gift of magic I would give it to you. Unfortunately I cannot think of how I could help. I will wait nearby and if I sense I can help in some way I will assist you. Do your best to stay out of danger."
Arc will find a reasonable lookout nearby and see if he and the others can stay close but out of trouble.
"I'm not breaking in," Az replies curtly, "nor will I be apart of it! It seems to me the lawbringer should be told about this. Isn't that what they're here for," she adds what she thinks is practical sense. "Come back at night if you must but I think this a matter well out of our hands," she adds firmly. "I say we look at the job boards near the justice hall," she then says looking to Alexia and Arc. "Will you join me," she adds curiously.

Arc thinks for a minute. "Though I have a deep curiosity about the mysterious business at this establishment I must agree. There is no cause yet for us to break the laws." Turning to Az he says "Yes I will follow you. There is a great deal to be done and our skills will carry us far if we are patient. I hope I have not seemed of two minds. I do want Connor to be safe." He walks with Az and whoever else follows.
"Laws," Alexia mumbles, sounding slightly scornful. "Laws don't do anything but impose somebody's else's will on everyone." Louder, she says, "I will go with you, Az. But I believe Riannis would like to stay with Conor and help with his project." She follows Az and Arc, while Riannis remains sitting on Conor's head.

Feeling Galius' spell take hold on him Conor smiles as his reflexes seem sharper and he feels more alert "Thank you, I could get used to this" he says smiling at Galius, looking upward to the sprite on his head he says "glad to have you with me my little friend, shall we go and investigate the mysterious shop?" to the others he nods as he begins to walk away "Same tavern later on? Otherwise, it has been a pleasure knowing you all."
Heading back towards Kwenthro's, Conor looks about for any other folk watching the shop, particularly keeping an eye out for the young man earlier. Reviewing the routes around the shop he looks for ways in which the climb could be made more easily without causing too much attention. "Warmfather, I know I'm not strictly speaking in a position to ask for help now, but if you could make this any easier I'd appreciate it."
"Riannis, can you see through the window up there? Is anyone moving around?" he asks the sprite while he noses about.
"I grew up around those who disregarded the laws of decent people. I know the lack of them and now the benefit of my own code. I reject the church's laws but encourage people live free of vice and oppression," Az says with a curt nod. "You do what you think is right," she looks to Conor. "I can not follow," she adds next moving towards the path back to the justice hall. "I will find work at the justice hall but I will be at the tavern later," she then adds. "I don't up hold anyone's code but my own. I can not be a part of this," she adds looking for anyone who will follow her and waves off the others who won't before turning to head towards the justice hall.
