Halben gives chase and goes through the door to peak into the other rooms. The southwest of the tower is little more than a heap of rubble. Several ragged bedrolls are scattered across the remaining floor space, and a small, twisting passage leads east through the ruins.
Halbens eyes the turn to the east where the western portion of this large hall ends in a wall of rubble, but the remainder is still intact. This must once have been the castle’s banquet hall, with a soaring ceiling twenty-five feet high. Two large wooden tables with plain benches stand in the middle of the room, and a brass brazier full of glowing coals is tucked into one corner. Dirty dishes, half-full stewpots, moldy heels of bread, and gnawed bones cover the tables.
Halben sees the hind parts of a goblin who is currently running out of the doorway. Halben can see slighly through some of the rubble movement outside as it appears other goblins are fleeing the castle.
The ever opportunist Fawn takes her time to scour the latest addition the corpses as well as searching through the Dining Hall. Along with a boiling cauldron of stew she finds.

Halben makes his way to doors -B,19 and 21 and finds that they are unlocked.
As he opens the door a -B,19 he finds this small room is littered with debris. The arrow slit opposite the door offers a fine field of fire over the terrace in front of the castle gates. On the ground rest two charred goblin bodies that Cypress slew with his moonbeam.
As he opens the door at 21 he sees old casks of salted meat and sacks of rotting grain fill this storage area. Among the supplies, you see a bloody suit of chain mail, a heavy crossbow, and an unsheathed longsword with the emblem of Neverwinter worked into its hilt.
I will pick up the longsword and do an arcana check to see if it is a potentially a magical item 7 . Regardless, he will take the sword with him. The symbol on the sword may come in handy later.
He will then proceed to the door in the northeast corner and see if it is unlocked, if it is he will open it slowly and look into the next room.
Halben looks over the sword it doesn't feel magically something just seems special about this sword. As Halben looks over the seal of Neverwinter sword he traces it with his fingers. His eyes then move down to the chain mail and the crossbow. That's when it hits him... He saw this gear what seems like so long ago. It was Sildar's gear he was wearing before him and Gundren departed the tavern. You feel a surge of energy as you feel you must be close to finding Gundren!
Halben determines this door does not appear to be locked as no lock is visible.
The door swings open as Halben and Fawn enter. This chamber occupies the northern tower of the castle. A stone alter stands in the middle of the room, covered with bloodstained black cloth. Golden ritual implements - a chalice, a knife, and a censer - are carefully arranged on top of the altar. Two archways to the south are covered with heavy curtains.
Cypress puts his nose the ground and does smell Gundren! However, it is faint but can can tell Gundren did pass through here at one point. The trail leads into the room with Halben and Fawn and continues past the curtains to the south.
"We should return to collect these gold ritual items later, but at the moment, I fear for Gundren's life." Halben says as he moves and opens up the curtains to the south.

Halben says "Let us give chase while we have the advantage." Halben will move, then dash S,19 and peek around the corner.

FAWN AND CYPRESS ARE UP
Fawn tosses the bedrolls
Cypress stands his ground, waiting for more goblins to attack
Fawn tosses the bedrolls. Dust and dirt spreads through the areas as well as a few bugs but nothing of value is found.
Cypress doesn't move.
The remaining Goblin scurries out the door and out of the castle.
It is now Halben's turn. Do you wish to give chase or end initiative?
Halben, seeing his teammates standing their ground, decides not to give chase.
Halben stops and sees the little green booty of the goblin run out shrieking all the way.
***You are now out of initiative. Do as you will!!!**
Fawn searches the room for anything of value or clues
Halben will check the doors at -B, 19 and 21 to see if they are unlocked. If they are he would like to open them and see what is inside.
