I'm not saying there are huge (or any) clues on it or anything, but could you see the map ok?
Come to think of it, I could keep links to current maps and maybe other things in the OP. Let me know if you can think of things you'd like to see there.
Got the map, thanks. Although maybe you should post the map of the encampment as well if it's important. I'm just theater of the minding it here for role playing purposes.
Barnaby will thank the madam for her help and exit the tent.
“Well I understand that things are a bit off and confusing, but surely we can go into town and see if we can learn of a missing child. Helping missing children is a good thing. There’s no arguing with that.”
Ok, fellers. You are on the map on the dotted line at the side of the Tser Pool, like it says on the Roll20 map of the Visanti camp. Which way do you want to go?
I'll give you a hint: There's a very angry bugbear in one direction. Or possibly two directions.
You quickly discover what you might have guessed already: the individual Visanti clans are somewhat insulated from each other. Here you have (1) Madam Eva, who (you might guess) does not often go traveling, (2) Stanimir and his clan, who you know have been traveling, and (3) Remuana's clan, which is preparing to leave. They mingle some, but not much.
I'm not sure, little sir. It could be Barovia, to the east. If you came in with Stanimir's crew, you might have seen it. Or Vallaki, to the west. That would be a few days march on the Old Svalich Road, though, and I wouldn't do that with such a small party, no sir. I believe you will find Vistani in both places. I can't say I know anything about a missing kid in either place, though, Vistani or otherwise. Or not a particular missing kid, anyway. These are dark times, and many go missing.
You understand Old Svalich Road to be the broad road that you traveled until you turned north, to come to this encampment. You can find it to back to Barovia, easily enough. One would think, from this exchange, that Vallaki is several days to the west on the Old Svalich Road, and if you asked, then that's the answer you would get. Yes sir, just keep going west, and in a few days look for a town on the north side of the road, in front of a lake.
Barnaby will thank them for their help and rejoin the party.
Well, they don't know much of anything. I propose that we head back east to Barovia. We can ask around town, and, while we're there, get the lay of the land...see what resources are available to us.
Puddin, kneeling and frozen in time, suddenly begins to shudder with an almost seizure-like intensity; it nearly topples her off her knees. Instantly, the shudder stops and shes stands. The sadness and fury that drove her from the Madame's tent has been replaced with a smile - a smile that is not entirely benevolent in nature.
She turns to Barnaby. "Yes, enough of this place. Let's see what we find in Barovia."

edit: Link to the current map now in the OP.

I shared the map of the encampment on roll20. I forget the file name but I said what it was a page or two ago here.
For the op I was just thinking of fast reference things we’ll keep coming back to.
I found the encampment map, my mistake, I thought you had made it the map we were on, but forgot to check the journal, sorry
Insight:5 Don’t know my bonus. No access to sheet right now. Let’s see what I get.
Ah. Bonus doesn’t matter.

She nods contemplatively as you make your exit.

Or maybe no directions.
Why is there a spoiler?
My ax has yet to carve meat this trip
It might be ok to see if we can help with a missing child while we work through this, let's check with Puddin' and Fope
For my own entertainment. If I don't put a condition, you can just open it. :)
You could have carved Duchess Morwena into ribbons. You had a chance!
Fope needs to rest, because Dov is unavailable through this entire coming week and the weekend following he is severely injured.
I thought about carving her or Madam Eve, thought it might not putting my best foot forward
"Fope needs to rest, because Dov is unavailable through this entire coming week and the weekend following he is severely injured."
I knew that was the case, just role playin
Barnaby, not seeing the point of wandering off in a random direction, will ask about in the camp if anyone is aware of a missing child.
Investigation? 4

“That is if you agree Kif or Puddin.”

Creepy Puddin. :-P
I'm in, let's go to Barovia. Lets go find one of Stanmir's group and ask them to keep an eye on Fope
