The human sighs, waving his hand around in an exaggerated dismissive gesture. "I also have him shaved. And beaten," the man says in a baritone voice of clipped common. "A thief and liar. A...how to say?" He turns and speaks in hushed tones to one of the goblins. Then turns back. "Ah, yes. A racist. Most unpleasantness."
Morphtakes in the crowned human's reply with a half nod, but doesn't take any other action, instead looking to Titus, to see what he wanted to do, given what they see.
“Did you know the one called Halleth? We just killed him because he was driven made with rage, he was consumed with killing this one you’ve got here... I must say I am curious as to what he did. And this place, what the hell is it? Some kind of market? In the middle of the dungeon? And you have him displayed here? What is this, are you selling him?”

"Yes," the human says languidly. "That my market. This my chambers. That my prisoner. Not for sale."
“Very well...” stammers Titus, still confused by the odd situation they had stumbled upon. “Seems an odd place for a market, you do good business here though I suppose? I take it we are welcome to browse your wares?”
It becomes quickly apparent that the 8 stalls are selling mostly used, mundane gear but at 3 times their usual prices. (You can purchase anything listed under armor, weapons, and equipment in the PHB. Each is priced at 3x the associated price.)
Laniellooks over the wares politely but does not find anything of interest. "Perhaps we should head back up and worry about painting our line and trying this out."
Titus trots up to the friendliest looking goblin and begins to browse his wares. He tries to start up a conversation. “Nasty business with that dwarf up there, eh?” He keeps a low voice, but has a smile and a jovial tone. “What did he do to that guy anyway that’s got him so fired up? Or does this thing happen a lot down here?”
Rethan joins Morph in browsing the stalls until he realizes there's nothing of real interest and they can easily be bought for much lower prices elsewhere.
Titus nods at Morphs suggestion, whatever was going on down here between Cooper and Yek, it did not seem more pressing than getting back to their main mission.

Morphheads back to way they came, to head back up the stairs, updating his mud map, as the group moves.
"Right so if we wait at the top of the stairs, I can summon Joyand we can start painting from there, back to the closest painted line."
"Then we should be able to test the line. It would be interesting to try it from somewhere along the middle. I wonder which end it would take us to first?"
"Either way, we can use it again if we end up back at the stairs down again."
The yellow indicates the paint already applied. Either describe or with an image editor, indicate the path Joy will paint. I'll estimate how long it takes and then...

"Yes, please, buy. No problems." He looks intently at Titus. "No. Problems."
Morph pats Titus on the shoulder.
"Shell we have a look at the wares and decide what we are doing next?"
Morph walks out and starts to have a look around the various stalls, to get an idea of what's for sale.
Perception check while browsing, to spot any interesting items: 4
(edit: also Morph is interested in spell scroll for spells that can be ritually cast, in case anything like that is on offer)

The goblin looks nervously at Titus, unsure why the dragonborn is asking him. "He try to steal from Yek. Do not cross Yek."
Rethan joins Morph in browsing the stalls until he realizes there's nothing of real interest and they can easily be bought for much lower prices elsewhere.
Morph nods at Laniel's suggestion, turning to see a look on Rethan's face that suggests he might be having the same thoughts.
Morph comes over to Titus and whispers in his ear,
"Find anything worth staying for? The rest of us are thinking it might be time to get back to our mission, if you think things here are good."
Morph indicates the level above them with his head, as he mentions their mission.

Here is the map as the party currently knows it:
The yellow indicates the paint already applied. Either describe or with an image editor, indicate the path Joy will paint. I'll estimate how long it takes and then...
"If the line splits in two directions, can the user choose which way he goes?" Muses Titus...
