"How much? And what is up with that wasp?" Mazin will ask, curiously.
He takes up the ale and takes a sip. "This is very good! Who is it that I need to thank?"
'The innkeeper, who seems to now be relaxing somewhat in the huge man's presence, looks at the his new customer's tankard, then down the bar at the insect-holding dwarf, then over to a table around which sits a motley assortment of armoured and robed forms. Some of the figures have slightly pointed ears and brows, while one has the broad strong features and physique of a half-orc. The origins and heritage of a few of the others are unfamiliar to the large hide-clad man. Two of these less discernable figures seem to paying him attention as he looks over - a blue-skinned woman in a long travelling cloak and leather armour and a tall yellow-green skinned figure both have their heads turned distinctly in his direction.
Finally, the slowly blinking Myren reluctantly releases his mustache and says,'
"It's five copper for the ale. That, ah, thing, is indeed a, err, wasp. Sharp eyes you have there. Bigger ones than that in my cellar as well. Dead of course, so you needn't worry... Err, not that you likely would, of course.
Ahh, sorry, what was that? The cool ale? Well, those good folks over there are to thank, they surely are. Got me back my cellar they did, or at least access to it. Good to have decent folks with ready blades to hand in town... especially with all the troubles round here of late."
'Myren turns to serve another customer, before smiling at a young freckled woman who brings out a tray of clean mugs and tankards from what must be the inn's kitchen.'

He turns towards the group as the orc (... no wait, too small, must be a half-orc. He's never met a half-orc before) greets him. He heads over to the table and joins the group.
"Hello. I am Mazin. I hear it is you fine folks that I have to thank for this cool ale. Thanks! Also, thank you for inviting me to your table. People are sometimes scared of me, I don't know why." he says, completely oblivious to the irony as he unstraps his greatsword and rests it on the edge of the table.
As he chats with the group at the table, he absentmindedly grabs his Woodcarver's Tools and the small block of wood he's been working on. He carves away as he chats.

Among the group of centuar's outside drinking, Altani watches the large man enter the inn. She stands just over six feet tall, with her human torso covered by chain, fur and leathers, her blond hair long and braided back away from her face. A shield and lyre hang from her flanks. She does not appear to be as intoxicated as the other centuar's around her, in fact it is rather obvious that she is constantly looking around at the others in the inn.
Alwin just blinked as Kestrell said he wasn’t aware “He’s one of the em..emissaries of the Celestial Crown for the eastern perip….hieral. Hhhhh…ow do you not know of your own hhh…eritage?” Alwin was actually confused and perplexed that even a half-elf didn’t know about the elven kingdoms.
Alwin was caught by surprise as the door swung open and jumped a little in his seat – his drink slightly spilling over the edge of his cup. He just took a sip calming himself from the startle as his attention was drawn to the goliath declaring he was looking for someone. ‘This poor inn keeper – it seems this business draws all types to the bar’ he just went back to his meal trying to avoid the interaction between the two going on in the background.
It wasn’t until Wazzok called the man over that Alwin looked at her timidly, before he could speak up it was too late. He had already put himself out there today and was lucky these people didn’t find his stutter irritating, he didn’t want to bother another person with. As the tall man sat down and began to talk Alwin just blinked ‘How could people be scared of you – just look at you. Could crush me in an instant with just your hand.’
