Retiog leans in towards his two companions. "I don't know what it is, but it seems the guards and some of the spectators are more concerned with the crowd than the match below." He then leans over and gives the same warning to the dwarf and elf nearby. The barbarian pulls an axe from his harness and begins to casually toss it in the air.
Nat frowns, and puts down his food and wine. He frowns at Retiog as he pulls out his axe, and his hand instinctively goes to his own weapon. He turns to the dwarf and elf who have joined them, and after Retiog has finished speaking he asks the pair: Is there anything... strange... about this night? Is it common to have a recruitment fight so soon after the last one, for example? This is our first time on this side of the fence, so to speak.
(OOC: Did the food vendor say anything when asked about the honor guard presence?)
OOC: Sorry the post got cut off.
The vendor shrugs and mumbles "the look like all of you but better cloaks," he says moving on rhe man is hard to read.
Duc notices the dragonborn, Xander, and the elf, Lux, give you an odd look as you hover close by.
"You need something blue eyes," Lux asks grinning as he takes a deep drink if his cup.
The honor gaurd remain by the exits and there seems to be at least a hundred of them now as the crowd is concentrated now near the center of the four stands while the stragglers are being moved down towards thw thick of the crowd.
Up by Retiog, Nat, and Drake a hobgoblin and a fire gensia apporach in honor guard cloak.
"Move down join the crowd," the half-orc says hand on the hilt of a greatsword as the fire gensia's aura just radiates intimidatingly.
The dwarf and elf get up as well as the others around you three. Looking out more honor gaurd are moving people down towards the center areas.

"C'mon, " Retiog calls to the the others. "There's more than one way out of here." He's pushing his way through the crowd, towards Duc.
"Something isn't right here," the half-orc says getting to the genasi. "The guard are herding everyone below. We should try to make it put through the arena."
Drake takes of 12 poison damage and is considered poisoned.
Seeing the dragonborn and elf drop dead in front of her Duc hears Retiog and looks to see Nat and Drake lingering above. Nat looking at the kobold who's looked better! The arena is in chaos. The honor gaurd is advancing on the speaker and cutting through the crowd of those who are fighting while poisoned and those who are not but seem unaffected. Some of the exits now look unguarded but there's no telling what waits above and the party is only familiar with the exit into the Rusty Anchor! They know now however Gimble picked an oddly particular time to NOT be present!

Nat looks down at the kobold. Are you okay? Something you ate?
(Did Nat feel anything of the poison that failed to take hold of him?)
If necessary he grabs the kobold and pulls him along, desperate to keep close to Retiog. It's going to need us all to work together to get out of this. Shit. Shit! What is this? A civil war? A coup? Just a regular Thursday* night? Oh, wow, what a great idea this was. Join the Order, Nat. They're smart, and tough, and in control. What could go wrong?
Drake would clutch his chest and lean forward a bit, dropping the food and drink on the floor. As Nat scoops him up, the kobold would curse. "I knew that shit was poisoned, they would never just hand out free food... They went with top shelf poison... no need to ingest it... Works on contact" he would say wiping his hands on his leather armor, trying to remove any crumbs and residue left behind from the food. "We need to get out of here... I don't feel too great.. anywhere is better than this kill box..." he would say before vomiting on to the floor.
Making sure that none of the hostile honour guard is paying attention to them where they are, Nat ducks down to where the kobold is retching on the flood and places a hand on his back; Steady there, friend, but we're all going to need each other on top form to survive, and he casts Lesser Restoration on Drake to remove the poison.
As nat places his hand on his back, Drake starts to feel much better. Quickly turning around, the kobold would wipe the last of the spit from his face with the back of his hand. "Thank you.." He says with a look of sincerity. Then looking to the honor gaurd, he would quickly pat Nat on the arm. "We need to get out of here.. We cannot take all of these guys!" The kobold would then scurry towards the closest unguarded exit, trying to stay low behind the seats and dying thieves.
Turning to Retiog, Duc whispers "We could leave them, make for the exit over there but I think we should try and get out together." Looking about the genasi looks for the closest, apparently unguarded exit. "Let's head that way, no point in trying to keep a low profile if they see us fight, they were willing to poison us, they'll gut us like fish if they get a chance." Duc tries to signal to the other two without attracting attention and indicate where she plans to go.

Nat's Triton constitution aided him against the poison (Nat 20) and he shrugs off the effects. Drake is saved by Nat's quick thinking and although the party meets again at the nearest exit above where they came from the Rusty Anchor everyone but Drake is spotted in the mayhem following the mass poisoning. Moving towards the Rusty Anchor's exit they're confronted by two large honor guard, a full orc and a hobgoblin.
"Missed out on your last meal eh," the hobgoblin says with a smirk and growl as he grips two daggers. "No matter same's where that came from," he adds looking at his daggers at the ready.
"You don't get all the fun," the orc retorts hauling a great axe off his back with a sneer at Retoig. "Half breed can you use even fight," he spits next.
Drake remains unnoticed while the rest of the party is being blocked.
