Histrix rubs his chin for a moment, "Yes yes. Wouldn't be wise to just trust the first person you run into, would it? That's quite already. Our lady Valetta is with your friends now and will be back shortly. You can finalize your arrangement with her." At this he motions to some chairs against the wall behind you.
"Ohh, I assure you that it's not a matter of trust, but rather one of propriety! You've been of great assistance. We'll just wait for lady Valetta and our associates then. Thank you, Histrix."

(Checks to see if I know where the necklace could have been made and by whom)
Elon takes out the necklace and carefully examines it for any markings or writing that might point them to its origin. In the mist of looking at it, Elon starts chuckling and then laughing. "Vassa, you kill me. Always the hustler. Quite entertaining to watch" he says poking fun at Vassa
" Oh! I didn't look.....uh, to check that....on Elsa..."
" Well, you can come to my familys house for dinner.....and then sometime later I can go to yours for dinner.", she beamed.
"That sounds swell! What kind of food does your family eat? Going to my house might take a while, though. I haven't been there in a year."
" Oh, Dad does most of the cooking so theres a lot of Northern Halfling fare; belly pork, bacon, knackbrod, frikadeller, so many sausages, cinnamon rolls.....if mum cooks it tends to be falafel, doner, kofta, pide....that sort of thing. She knows a couple of old rustic elven recipes from her dads side but its hard to find the proper ingredients."
" A year? Yeah, my two would be super pissed if I didn't visit for that long."

"My preference is to kill people softly and with a song, Nole, but after dealing with those crepes at the bakery, a little caution seems in order when we go on these scouting outings... don't you think? Besides, as my dear old gran used to say, 'Your next enemy is always closer than you think... and often closer than your nearest friend.' I've come to see the truth in those words, esepcially in a dangerous city like Waterdeep.
And truth be told, I'm not used to having as many friends as I do right now, so maybe the equation has shifted somewhat... maybe."

"Your two? Do you have children?"
Selinae burst out laughing, " Kids, me? No, I meant Mum and Dad....I guess seeing as I'm so much bigger than them...especially Dad...I kind of think of them as mine as much as they think of me as theirs."
Phaedra smiles, "Do not fear, we will return with news. I know I have asked a lot of you Nim, but Waterdeep is a big city. Would you have any idea where you construct could feel... at home?"
Nim just shrugs. Valetta speaks up, "Nim's never been anywhere except here. He was transported in a crate so he's never seen the rest of the city."
Valetta turns back to Nim and tells him to say in his room until she returns and then she heads for the stairs, "I'll lead you back out of here and let you start on this task for us. Thank you so much for agreeing to help."
(Checks to see if I know where the necklace could have been made and by whom)
You know that magic items are typically made by wizards though other magic users could make them. But you don't find any distinguishing mark on this necklace to point toward it's origins.
"They kidnapped someone from the Plumber's Guild, who came to us for help. We snuck in and rescued him, but some heavies hired by the guild got in our way and had to be dealt with. We rescued the plumber, but we won't be getting any good deals on tasty pie for awhile, I'm afraid."
Phaedra heads on down the stairs brandishing the weird looking device.
"Thank you Valetta. I knew it would be best to come talk to you priestess to priestess. We clergy need to stick together in this world of cutthroats and conmen... ohh Vassa. You made it. How... apt. Hello Elon.
Valetta, these are more of my companions. Vassa and Elon."
Phaedra holds up the device. "I think we have had a breakthrough boys. A big one. "

Histrix glances up with a suspicious look on his face. "Vassa and Elon, eh? Not Assav and Noel? Interesting." But goes back to the paperwork he was working on.
"Ohh I didn't....Noel's a middle name...yes lets get going. I have lots to explain."
Phaedra heads out the door, waving goodbye to those inside the temple.
"So we thought we had been attacked on arrival to the temple but it turned out it was simply a nimblewright, a type of wooden automation or golem, who had been gifted to the temple by a Lantanese wizard, testing out its clockwork pets. The attacker near Trollskull Ally could not have been it because it is bound to the temple and could not wander far. However, this nimblewright, it's name was Nim by the way, had made ANOTHER nimblewright who was not bound to the temple. It can travel anywhere it wishes and Nim had not seen it in over a month after it fled in confused terror at its state of being.
This other nimblewright has to be who we are after and you see this little thing" Phaedra shakes the contraption in her hand, "if you hold down the handle it will start to make noises if a nimblewright is near. It does have a short range however, its only 500 feet."

Elon let's Phaedra finish her news as they walk. Once she is finished, he pulls out the necklace for everyone to see. "This is the weapon. Each one of these balls is a fireball spell and as you can see one is missing. The nimblewright you speak of would not have been able to make it but could have used it. Only a very high level wizard could make such a thing." He then puts it carefully back in his bag. "So I guess we need to find this nimblewright."

"Oh!" Kestrell chuckles. "Yes, that is funny, you being so much bigger than your Dad."
"Only if it has cinnamon rolls and snausages in it! We better check!"
" More likely hard bread and some old cheese but we'll make do."
" I hope the others are alright."
Selinae headed through the kitchen and into the pantry to see what could be 'borrowed'.
