Setup: The trio is in the T junction; able to run off to the broken down wall and into the nest. The sounds of spellcasting and fighting echo loudly around you. A guard (soldiers carrying a quiver of bolts, crossbow, shortsword, and chain shirt), has moved into melee. One hand on the torch the other carrying the small blade. The other two are now off in the shadows about 40 feet away, reloading and preparing to continue Although one is severely burned from the sacred flame. One of the soldiers (chainmail, shield, longsword), lay dead while the other (is in melee / or dead). If anyone moves to the exit without disengaging, those in melee would be able to get a swing off.
(Yorvalor, please feel free to do the AOO and your own action. Emund, I suppose you could do a unarmed melee attack with just trying to punch the guard as well, since the attack would provoke on you as well if you want)
Yorvalor sees the soldier running away striken by his spell. He slashes the guard with his rapier as he runs away. "Friend Keegan, we must make sure that we are not bringing uninvited guests with us to the Nest!!"
Attack: 20 Damage: 5
(Emund, don't forget the bardic inspiration. Yorvalor is going to be in trouble if the guard doesn't go down.)

Seeing Yorvalor take a swing on the guard, Emund swings out with a club-like fist (Attack: 13 Damage: 4).
He exchanges the torch between his hands and mutters a sharp prayer as he brings himself back up, firing off a guiding bolt (Attack: 17 Damage: 10) at one of the crossbowmen.
(Unfortunately, I've already used the bardic inspiration on the intimidate check)
Yorvalor is shocked that his rapier did not finish the guard. The guard actually found his resolve turned around, and struck him twice. He staggers backwards (disengage), not believing that he was almost knocked out of the fight. Holding his wounds, he tries to find a spot where he can get some cover and crouches down (trying to get as much cover as possible, but not too far from the action). "I am sorry Friend Keegan, you will have to take my position. I am not feeling too good at the moment." He says breathing heavily.
(@chrsevs. Sorry, I didn't realize it. FYI. Yorvalor will try to finish off the guard that almost killed him on the next round. He's also out of spell slots, and down to 1HP :-(

The lone soldier taps his friend's shoulder as he disengages and heads back. The Guard with the spear, takes a swing at Keegan while one of the crossbowmen takes another shot off also at Keegan.
Summary: Yorvalor disengages and heads down the tunnel, seeing the mostly destroyed wall that leads into the nest. The angle of the wall making it so he has cover away from the crossbowmen and the soldier. Emund's guiding bolt flies off, striking the crossbowmen. The burst of energy causing him to slump over in the sewers. Keegan, having taken a bolt moments earlier, becomes more enveloped in ice before stepping into the position Yorvalor was. The Soldier uses the moment to disengage, heading back to the crossbow guards, giving them a bit of cover. The spearman, seeming to be covering a possible retreat, takes a swing at Keegan but it's easily parried. The sounds of a crossbow bolt wizz by everyone, but lands somewhere in the darkness behind you all.
Round 5 (Start)
Setup: Keegan and Emund are in melee combat with the Guard wielding a spear with both hands. The bloodied soldier, now 30 feet away, is giving some cover to the bloodied crossbowmen behind him. It seems like they'll soon be disengaging from the combat, with two dead and two bloodied.
Distant and muffled sounds of battle rings around Yorvalor's elven ears. He feels very tired, and this would be a great spot to take a quick nap. A figure appears in front of the Bard. "Isabella??" He mutters puzzled. "Dear Yorvalor, this is not the time to rest. Your friends need you!!" It was like time had almost stopped for Yorvalor and now it went back to normal. He hears an energy bolt struck someone off the distant. "I hope that is Brother Emund." He goes back to where the action was and he sees that Keegan has taken his position. He takes his position behind his friends (60ft from the bloodied guard). "Hey YOU, I am not done with you!!" He shouts at the guard that almost killed him. "I just need to ask, what shall we put on your headstone!" He casts Vicious Mockery on him. (DMG if failed save: 2)

The guard in melee with the group turns his attention over to Keegan, taking a stab with his spear. The Crossbowmen takes aim at Yorvalor, and launches a bolt.
Setup: The armored soldier, moving back towards his crossbow friend, uses his shield to deflect Keegan's blast. The shift in his movements causing the sacred flame to erupt harmlessly. However, Yorvalor's words strike him, letting out a yell as he drops to his knees holding his head, before falling down completely. The Guard in Melee with a spear mutters something, before moving to slam the pointed tip into Keegan (2). Yorvalor, now back in range, takes a crossbow bolt from the remaining blooded crossbow guard (8).
Round 6 (Begin)
Setup: Two opponents still stand. One in melee, a guard who seems rather resolved at this point after trying to cover his friends retreat holding a spear. The other, a crossbow guard, who's blooded about 30ish feet away. The remainder of their team laying dead in the muck and dark.

Yorvalor, breathing heavily and holding on to his wounds, see the armored guard drops to the ground, and he starts to laugh maniacally. He is loosing touch with reality. The scene bring back a very painful memory. It reminds him of the fateful day that he killed someone of his own blood. He had buried the memory very deep inside of him, and it resurfaced just like that. Before he can think any further, though, a bolt flies towards him. There is nothing he can do in his current condition. The bolt strikes him and time slows to a crawl. He feels the bolt penetrate his shoulders, and, in slow motion, he slowly fall back from the impact. He hits the ground and everything goes dark. (Death Save: 11)

Taking the spear in the side, grasping it with his off hand to stop it from going any deeper. Keegan will transfer his hex to the spear wielder (bonus action, causing disadvantage on DEX saves), then cast Eldritch Blast in to the body of the spear wielder.
Yorvalor falls, beginning to die on the ground. Emund spares the dying. Keegan blasts the spearman who crumples over from the blast. The last crossbowman launches a bolt at Keegan (6) before turning and beginning to flee.
Keegan slumps against the wall, a crossbow bolt in his shoulder and an open wound in his side where the last bolt grazed him. Spitting a mouth full of blood on the ground "Well mate, we bloody bodged that. Got any o' that sacred magic left?" Grunting as he tries to removed the bolt, tearing off pieces of his tunic to bandage his wounds, "Yorlvalor looks like he could use some healing. Then we gotta get out here quick, back to that house I found ya in."
The sounds of the guard running away continue to echo down the hall. The splish and splash of his quick footsteps getting quieter. But it means he knows where you are, and were apparently waiting for you. Staying at this location, injured and with someone who's no longer bleeding out but in no condition to fight, is a terrible idea.
"Probably just enough to get you through here without slipping," Emund says to Keegan, touching him on the shoulder and casting guidance. "Let's carry him out of here. Shall we follow the guard out or go up through to the Nest? Neither way sounds ideal, but I'll follow your decision."
