Dog ducks down and tries to look underneath it, especially for any light from a teleportation room. Then he stands up, listens for roaring/stomping feet, and then loops around to the unexplored part of the hallway (on the map, immediately north of the door that we knocked down), to take a look at the area they haven't seen yet.
"I think we need to find a key. That will make our lives a lot easier."
Gash does not manage to break the lock but he does trigger the trap in the door, which pops open the walls adjacent to the door and blasts him with fire, causing 14 damage.
Dog does hear the clomping of footsteps in the near distance, coming from the other side of the light blue aura.
Feytok, standing in the doorway of the door that Bulwark smashed open, shouts, "I think I see one!" He is looking through the light blue aura into the passageway beyond.
As he moves, Dog looks past FeyTok to see where the minotaur is beyond the blue light.
If it's still farther away and there's time, he'll say, "come on, back into the blue before it gets here!"
If it's getting very close/is walking through the blue room and would meet the party before they all got to the blue room to teleport away, he'll say, "let's loop around!" and pull FeyTok with him away from the blue light to try to run around to the hallway to the north to flee.
Dog can see the crystal minotaur just on the other side of the blue aura but not yet in it. (Everyone will have time to enter the portal if they choose.)
"Into the blue, to see something new!" Dog calls to his friends, guiding FeyTok forward and only pausing to make sure the others get in before jumping in himself. If there's a delay he will ready his warhammer to fight, knowing that anything thrown into the portal won't hit the minotaur.
"Let's be still for a minute and listen. So we are back in the orange, is this a closed loop? I'm trying to remember. Anyway, since we know they will be here soon, it seems we have three options. Should we jump around more and try more searching and doors? Should we take potshots at them with arrows and firebolts and slowly wear them down? Or should we set an ambush on favorable terrain, maybe with a trap of our own, and then finish them off one at a time? The only alternative to those is something I haven't thought of, like a secret exit, a password, something hidden, escaping through the roof, etc."
(OOC: it's been:
pink to green green to yellow yellow to pink orange to red red to blue blue to orange
The orange and pink are connected, with the pink closest to where we started, and then when we got back to the pink, we went into the orange FROM the pink. So it's a rough loop. The green is the one near the pool, the blue is the one near the locked door with the weird walls around it.)
Dog also looks down at the shard he grabbed from one of the minotaurs they broke. Does it look remotely key-like?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
DM Shield:
Dog Arcana(13) check: 18
Dog can tell that the shard is definitely magical and its warm glow and very slight tingly feeling is very suggestive of life magic.
From the orange aura, the crew can see a little further south, including into a room that appears to be overgrown with fungi. The passage south also turns to the east, possibly onto some stairs.
Tock says, "I appreciate your believing in me."
Thieves tools' check at the east / weird door: 8
"I'm sorry, this isn't working. I'm just good with a crossbow, that's about it."
The new door to the south is locked but does not appear to be trapped or suspicious in any way (like the door Tock failed to pick.)
Trying to make up for his failures Tock takes a few steps back from the east door and aims his crossbow at the lock:
Attack: 13 Damage: 16
The bolt ricochets off the lock, nearly striking Tock.
Gash repeats his water technique to freeze the lock. "Bully... try just breaking the lock this time?"
Gash - Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
Dog aims his warhammer head square up on the frozen lock, coils up, and swings away:
Attack: 11 Damage: 6
Edit: OMG these rolls!
The door stands firm, frustrating all who stand before it.
Gash wedges a dagger in the lock and twists to try and break it.Attack: 14 Damage: 6

“Well at least we get to see where blue leads!” Stones then steps into the blue room.
Tock runs into the blue portal it as well.
Gash, newly roasted, follows the crowd.
Gash - Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
The party finds themselves back in the orange aura, the crystal constructs roaring in the distance of the labyrinth.
(I will post an updated map shortly once I have access to more than my phone.)

Sorry, the map didn't get included for some reason:
