OOC: Anafrey's turn comes first, so here goes some editing:
Anafrey wakes with a start feeling something heavy weighing her down, she shakes her head and lets out a soft groan and looks up at the zombie above and kicks at it rolling backwards to disengage retreating to T10 (still prone). "Jambiya? What did I drink this time?"
From behind and above Jambiya, Maldorn releases another arrow at the nearest zombie (yellow). "And stay down!" he scream in relief after finally hitting something! An arrow now protrudes from the (yellow) zombie's forehead, adding to its many visible injuries, yet the creature still remains on its feet.
Erric (doesn't do any of the other stuff posted, but) darts to the west, past orange and yellow (in a very peculiar manner, almost dancing past them in a mocking zombie shuffle). If he gets hit by an attack of opportunity, he'll use the last of his luck to get them to reroll in an attempt to remain standing with his few hit points he's got left.
Yellow AoO: Slam attack: 19; damage: 4 bludgeoning damage
Orange AoO: Slam attack: 22; damage: 4 bludgeoning damage
Luck to roll Yellow's again: 8
Heading toward the other end of the room, Erric luckily dodges the (yellow) zombie's reactionary attack, but in doing so leaves himself open to the (orange) zombie's reaction, and the second zombie's arm crashes into the side of his head, almost knocking out the bard.
Reaching his destination (N8), the halfling shakes his head and begins casting what should be a familiar spell at this point: vicious mockery, throwing in some additional hand motions to entice the zombies to chase him. (Psychic damage on yellow, if failing a WIS 13 save: 3)
OOC: Is there a reason you didn't go to M8, your full 25 feet?
WIS save: 4
DM rollz: 19
Erric's verse makes the zombie shake its head, but it keeps coming.
OOC: Order of movement because that's important this round (1=blue, 2=orange, 3=red, 4=yellow): 3; (1=blue, 2=orange, 3=yellow): 2; (1=blue, 2=yellow): 2
The (red) zombie continues to moan and wail, seeing things it would like to hit, but not being able to reach any of them. It especially fusses when Anafrey crawls out from under it and gets away before it can swipe at her.
The (orange) zombie follows Erric around the table (O8 or N8; it can reach either) and makes another swipe at the bard. (Slam attack: 19; damage: 3 bludgeoning damage) The creature's arm hits the same place it just hit moments ago and Erric sees stars, then blackness. He collapses.
The (yellow) zombie follows its (orange) comrade ...
Jambiya, would you like to make an opportunity attack against Yellow (no advantage)?
Sorry, was just miscounting and yes, Erric can go to M8 and or duck under the table. But seems it doesn't matter with how strong the zombies are. There a reason Erric can't drop what he's holding and say a short phrase as a free action? You said he didn't do the other stuff posted.
Erric, seeing Anafrey rouse herself while a zombie stands on her, then crawl AWAY from said zombie safely, finds himself struck nearly dumb by a panicked realization that he is now the only living thing in the room. He doesn't love this reality. He had a whole crazy thought to try to draw the zombies away from his wine-loving friend by running deeper into the room. But now he's totally alone, and there's a perfectly good door that could be between the zombies and the living, he'd really like to be behind that.
He spots an opening amid the kerfuffle of Anafrey skittering back into the kitchen, and goes for it, darting through the legs of the yellow zombie and disengaging himself from the melee (he uses halfling nimbleness to move through the space occupied by the zombie, and for his action, uses disengage to not incur opportunity attacks).
He ends up back in the kitchen, in S10, and if he can close the door behind him as a free action, he'd love to do that. If he can do that, he'll sit down in front of the door, trying to block it. "Anafrey, how are you alive? I saw you go down! You're not a zombie are you?"
"What are we going to do? Those things don't die! Die? Re-die? Stay down?"
OK! Erric scurries back into the kitchen and closes the door, unceremoniously pushing Jambiya out of the way to do so. As the group stares wide-eyed at each other, they realize they hear nothing from the other side of the door.
Anafrey pants trying to catch her breath after her exertion, and stumbles a few times as she tries to stand. "What in the hells?!" She manages to pull herself to her feet.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Erric, forgetting he has hands for a brief moment, drops the berries into Anafrey's palm. "Is everyone okay?! That was VERY close." He puts his ear to the door, still not moving from it, trying to hear any sound at all. He puts his eye to the gap underneath and looks for the zombies' feet (perception 19). Can the door be locked, and can something heavy be dragged in front of it? If he can't detect anything and the threat seems like it's receded, he'll catch his breath and do what Erric does best: start talking.
"We're all really not doing well, and we need rest. What would happen if we just went to sleep?" He realizes that's not a great idea, but he's grasping at straws and trying to figure this mess out.
"I assume that's Lord Redmane, and his servants, in the dining room. The diary mentioned that Clarice had taken them, I think. Are we really inside the mirror now? If so, what do the swirly black clouds mean?"
He looks around the kitchen, and points at the door to the hallway. "What happens if one of us walks through there? I've half a mind to try, because I do not want any more of those zombies, and other than the broken mirror, which also had the swirly clouds in it, that cloud doorway is the only way out of here. We could try throwing something through it and see what happens, if it seems safe. Or tie something to some rope and then throw that through, and see if we can pull it back out."
Still resting on the ground and trying to rig up some bandages to bind everyone's wounds, he looks back at the door to the kitchen. "We could try to take out the zombies a bit smarter. Open the door a crack and then just fire through it once or twice and then close the door if they get close. Wait for them to calm down like this and repeat. That would give us more options."
He covers his eyes with the palms of his hands.
"Clarice? Can you hear us? Can you understand us? What do you want?"
“Are we sure it is prudent to fall asleep here?” Maldorn asks as he ties a rope around one of the arrows he collected from the kenku outside. He then follows Erric’s instructions regarding throwing something beyond the door in the kitchen that leads to the hallway.
"Oh, that's clever," Jambiya says as she realizes what Maldorn is doing. She lifts a crackling hand just in case as he reels the arrow back in. "We should let Anafrey rest a moment, if we can't go through this door, and we're not rested to face the residents, we'll have to settle down for a bit."
She Readies an eldritch blast should something snarly come out the cloudy door with Maldorn's rope.

The dining room, now that they have closed the door from the torch light and Jambiya is no longer concentrating on her faerie fire (I'm assuming), is completely dark, so Erric doesn't see anything when peeking under the door. He does hear some quiet shuffling, but it seems to be moving away from the door.
Maldorn tosses the arrow he tied the rope to at the swirling, black clouds. The arrow "hits" the clouds and falls to the floor without leaving the kitchen.
"Zombies seem to be walking away from this door, possibly back to their seats. They're dumb and don't seem to remember us or know how to open doors. And that arrow at least didn't catch fire or come back with a shrieking ghost. We're learning things."
He glances over at Anafrey and Jambiya, who both really need a brief rest.
"Before we rest, we need to figure out our plan. To be brief: after a short rest, we can try to pick off the zombies by opening the door, firing arrows & magic & slingshots until they get to the door and then closing the door until they forget and reset, hoping we get a lucky shot and clearing the room. That gives us a non-swirly option of where to go. Or we can try walking through the cloudy door. Seems like it won't work but maybe it doesn't let in arrows but sucks in gullible people like us. MALDORN! Those are two OPTIONS. Not instructions that we do those things right now without deciding as a group to do it.Stop walking to the cloud portal. I saw you. We're almost dead and if we make a slip-up we might join Lord Redmane's retinue. Does anyone else have a better idea?"
"A brief rest would be welcome, yes, but let us not fall asleep here. I'm afraid we'd never wake up." Maldorn is then startled at the screaming halfling: "What? No... Cloud portal? What are you on about, Master Jeric?"
He then proposes a different silly idea: "How about you open the door, then I fish a zombie with my roped-arrow, we all reel one zombie in the kitchen with us and you close the door on the other ones?" The old man smirks a bit and proceeds to sit on the ground, crossing his legs and rolling a brand new cigarette.
Jambiya pats Anafrey on the head. "I, too, think we should take a short rest, but after that, I like Erric's idea to open the door and harass them from afar, then close it again."
OOC > Voting for a short rest.
