"Thanks for the advice and the help " says Dekket to Klain.
" Dekket " he introduces himself to Kay with a slight tap on his hood. "May I suggest a change of air while those gentelmen are still thinking about the words of our friend?"
Nodding his head and raising his refilled tankard by way of greeting, Klain nods and says,'
"Not a problem, Dekket. Thank you for the ales.
Well, I've got an early start tomorrow anyway, so wasn't planning on staying for too many more. The Crate's always been a bit of a hole I guess, but most of the folk who drank here used to be okay. Now, a lot of locals who used to come here but don't frequent the Pirate just choose to drink at home. Might end up that way myself if things keep going the way they are."

Ned and the other three men at the table all nod eagerly at Ro's agreement of the stakes. As the genasi puts his own gold piece into the centre of the table, the brown haired man named Shawn also fishes out a gold piece from a much smaller pouch on the end of a leather thong, kept safely within his tunic. The three other men likewise seem to find gold from somewhere secreted about their persons, though none yet throw their coins in with the two antes. As Ned hands the dented cup to Ro, the dark-haired man with the cold smile says,'

Having watched Ro and Shawn's first rolls, everyone seems interested in at least having having a crack in round one of this game for markedly higher stakes.
As the first round of the second game is completed, most of the players look neither overly pleased nor displeased with the results. Ned says in something akin to good cheer as he kicks Shawn's chair,'
"Go get us another round of drinks, Shawn. Well, that round looks fairly square. Everyone in for a second round?"
[OOC] There is currently 5gp in the middle, but each of the four men seems inclined to put in another 1gp each. Action is on Ro.
A'ro does not detect any cheating, though the speed with which all the men put their gold into the pot, after looking first at Ned, seems indicative of possible collusion.

The big barman with the blunt face, fairly large nose and deep set eyes, serves another customer who calls him Buck. Buck looks Kestrell's handsome face and dashing figure up and down, then spits on the ground with clear distaste, though when the even taller, but more plainly dressed Vaken adds his voice to the inquiry, the man's eyes flicker between the two figures... then flickers across to the door to his left, beneath which the pungent odor of strong tabacco seeps. Indeed, even as you're all standing nearby the door opens and the antler-helmed dwarf from earlier comes out to order more ales. As the dwarf emerges, so does a thick plume of smoke with the harsh scent of potent, dried herb about it. Buck serves the dwarf promptly, despite other customers who were waiting longer standing at the bar. Once the dwarf dissapears back inside the room with a tray of drinks this time, barman Buck growls out,'
"Don't know about any missing stores... but there's a few Luskan wharf rats round these parts who might. That's all I got to say on that... except that brawling and killing in the Crate will be dealth with hard-like. Pa don't much like having the Wardens poking their noses around here."

Past the burly form of the fur and hide clad dwarf with the odd headgear and through the thick swirls of pungent smoke, you catch a glimpse into the room beyond as the door swings open. Within you see a single large circular table, with a strange rack like device in its centre that seems to contain smaller earthenware jars, pouches, scissors and other implements. A score or more of varied pipes sit in a second smaller rack, while a couple of larger bucket like objects with brass and bronze fitted hoses protruding from them sit along a far shelf. Including the dwarf, maybe a half-dozen figures sit around the large table beyond, though it is hard to get a good look at any through the smoke and the brief opening provided.
