The bear is simple and friendly. While not very intellectual, as it's just a bear, it relays messages of friendliness, curiosity, and hunger. The bear is well taken care of here, and there are almost no natural predators in the forest and has no intention of harming you, or anyone else - and will continue to be friendly and tag along as long as it's constantly fed.
You walk through 2c and pass a massive wall and tower to the south. This part of the forest continues (off the map) and follows an underground river (the river Sargauth?) for several hundred feet. The forest floor is littered with statues of birds and mammals. Clearly, something is petrifying things that wander into this remote place of the forest.
Your new bear friend quietly stop and sits on its rump just before this, not moving forward.
Alessandra's eyebrows furrow at the petrified creatures. "Well... If our new friend here isn't keen on venturing with us any further, I say we also avoid this part of the forest as well. I don't want to run into something we can't fight at the risk of this whole forest consuming us all." Her voice falls to a whisper. "I don't think we have any lives left for that matter..." She turns her head in the direction of the tower Ra'iik had pointed out. "Let's try the tower."

Here is the path you've taken so far. You leave the Western Forest and head south through the gate.
On your way to the tower entrance, you can see four deep alcoves to the west, each roughly 10 feet wide and 15 feet tall, lining the cavern wall south of the tower. Strewn about in them are the skeletal remains of about sixty humans clad in rotting clothes and furs. Someone dragged them here and left them to rot, it seems.
You approach the tower. It's carved to look like a squat stone tree with twisted, stony boughs protruding from the walls. Large bats hang from the boughs like ornaments. At the base of the tower, on the south side, is a 12-foot-high arched double door made of carved stone. There is a rope that looks like to be a doorbell.
So nothing happens to the berry as it goes into the creepy area? Well, there goes that theory.
Grianne conjures another batch of berrys for her bear friend and lays them at his his feet. She gives him a quick snuggle and buds him goodbye to follow her party deeper into the area.

"Ah, let's not rush to conclusions just yet my metal friend, the last hasty decision made us a bit unwelcome," Evrik says to OU812PO. "Let's look around a bit first to see if we see anything that may help us decide if we should pull that rope or not. You seem to have a pretty keen eye, I'll gladly help you look for any clues."

Everything looks normal and tranquil. The walls appear to have been here a VERY long time, you can tell they are eroding because of age. Your bear pet sits and waits patiently. The rope actually does indeed look like a doorbell pulley. Although I can clearly understand your caution.
OU8me2 will pick up Alessandra and deposit her directly in front of the doorbell. "Ladies first. Especially those who make our little adventuring party look good."
Alessandra stiffened at OU812’s sudden touch, the aasimar having a look of bewilderment once successfully deposited in front of the door bell. She blinks herself back to reality as her arm extends out to ring said doorbell.

I can try, but I haven't spoken bear in years. My accent might be bad. Grianne wildshape into a bear and attempts to communicate with her new friend.

The bear is very docile and follows you around as long as it's fed. It is quiet and observes you all curiously and likes to be pet.
Where to?
I guess we'll head west to 2e? Survival: 12

Grianne sees her bear buddy stop. She takes the last of her berrys and throws it as far into the new area as possible.
(Can I cast magic stone on the berry so I dont have to use my physical stats please?)

Sure.
Whether you do or not, and no matter what you roll, your new bear friend does not follow the food. He just sits and waits patiently.
Nothing happens to the berry when you toss it, and land some distance away.

No, nothing happened to the berry, but our bear companion goes where you guys go as long as you keep feeling it.
You're now in front of the tower.
