Valen rolls his eyes at his companion's boast and then gives a deep bow to the woman. "Valen Havenstrite." With no immediate threat, he decides to stow his blade. "Since we're sharing notes here, how exactly did you manage to track him down here?"
Lila doesn't get to answer immediately, as the party stand together around the body the quiet of the ruins is shattered by a howl, so powerful and evil that it threatens to make the four adventurers run in terror. As it dies down Simon, the tressym, seems to react to something just outside the range of the light provided by the torches back towards the entranceway they all used.
OOC - you are about 50' from the entrance you all used to descend from the street, the light shows a tunnel heading off in the opposite direction beyond where you found the body, it disappears into darkness (and beyond the range of darkvision) into the distance.
Everyone make a DC11 Wisdom Save please, including Simon(!)

The howl really unnerves Brock and Lila, Valen, Wallis and Simon seem to be OK, and Simon continues to indicate he has seen something beyond the edge of the torchlight that nobody else has seen.
OOC Neither Lila nor Brock can move towards the entrance/exit right now. Initiative please and thank you.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
For PbP I think it make sense having you share the initiative number - otherwise if you want to use help action type things you'll end up having to post all sorts of "hold action until x, if y is still alive then z" - seems like too much work.

Lila is up - she can't see anything beyond the torchlight except a very faint source of streetlight near the entrance. She cannot move closer to the entrance - Make another Wis DC11 Save at the end of your turn too please.

Cursing, Lila grits her teeth and grabs her crossbow, loading a bolt and taking the Ready to shoot anything that comes out of the darkness as she backs up a bit and flattens to the wall (Moving to I18 if I understood which one was the entrance correctly and Hide if possible).
(OOC - yes correct about the directions. the two X's are the entrance and the body - I wrote the earlier posts as the torch being on the floor by the body, on the square you started from, I'm assuming because of your crossbow use you are leaving it there?)

Hope it makes sense, the two circles within circles are the radius of the the torchlight, bright and then dim further out, scale = 5' per square.
