"We could try the dragon door first," Arxius says, glancing down at Meepo and then back up at the rest of the group. "There could be something helpful beyond it, otherwise why give us the key straight away? Or we treat that as a proper reward and deal with everything else first... does anyone have any thoughts on this?"
"Meepo don't know whats behind dragon door. Meepo bring friends there if friends want. Meepo thinks Yusdrayl give key to door so friends can help explore. Yusdrayl want to reclaim more of Citadel."
"I think it's best to let Meepo lead the way for now, the dragon door can wait. It's probably best to put the remainder of our Kobold friends at ease by going the way they'd expect. Alten is right, we don't want them to turn against us."
Meepo smiles and squeaks, “Follow Meepo friends!” He then leads you back to the room with the large metal cage, bench, and fireplace where you first found him. He skirts the fireplace and heads to the northeast. The wooden door there is unlocked. Meepo opens it and waves you forward. You enter into an unlit hallway and walk 25’ before turning south, then walk another 45’ at the end of which you come to another wooden door with an iron bar across it. Meepo removes the iron bar and puts a clawed finger to his lips, “Goblins territory through door... quiet good.”
You enter the 20’ by 25’ foot chamber and look around. It is unlit and appears to be empty except for rat droppings, crumbled flagstone, stains and dust. There is a door set on the far side of the room in the northern wall. It is wooden and has an iron ring. The hinges are not visible to you.
DM Note: Someone make a perception check [DC 15] please.
Talien will assist in looking around (assuming we all enter into the room) (Does not want to do it himself as he does not have dark vision and it would be at a disadvantage, and lighting a torch is a red flag if the opening of a door was not already)
{I'm assuming we're in typical marching order, adding Meepo up front the Arxius and Alten?}
Perception: 21
DM Note: I assumed your standard marching order with Meepo leading you as well.
Looking down at the ground you notice tracks in the dust. Some of the tracks were obviously made by rats, but some appear to be made by humanoids. The rat tracks look fresh and are maybe a day old. But, the humanoid tracks are starting to be fill with dust, they are perhaps a month old. You take a closer look and gather that the larger tracks were made by three or four humans moving across the room to the north.
Alten is letting Meepo lead out by 10 or 15 feet without letting him get out of sight. He will point out the tracks to Meepo and Arxius. If the tracks start to diverge from where Meepo is leading us, I would have him stop so the rest can come up and figure out which way we want to go.

Meepo nods, proceeds to the next door, then opens it and puts a clawed finger to his scaly snout once more. Meepo steps through and motions for you to follow. You enter into an unlit 25'x25' chamber that is dominated by a large ornate fountain that is built into the eastern wall. Though cracked and stained, the fountain’s overarching carving of a diving dragon retains its beauty. A relief-carved stone door stands on the western wall. The room is covered in dust and odd bits of stony debris and rubble lie scattered on the floor. There is a 10' wide opening at the far end of the room in the northern wall that leads to a long hallway. There are two empty scones near the ornate door that likely used to hold torches.
DM Note: The tracks led north in the direction of the next doorway/room Meepo is leading you too. There are a couple different types of checks in here. Let me know what you want to look at, or do.
Meepo, what do you know about this room and the fountain?
Assuming Meepo can't really tell me much, Alten will probably walk up to the opening on the northern end of the hallway. That's where the tracks lead, correct? Assuming I've got that right, Alten goes to the space and looks and listens down the hall but doesn't leave the current room. If Meepo has anything interesting to say about the room, then I retract going to check the northern opening.

Have you ever been inside any of these doors Meepo, or heard from others as to what may be there?

Meepo responds, "Kobolds no been here. Goblin territory. Meepo only been to second door." (He points to the door you just came from). Meepo walks over to the fountain and starts inspecting it in an attempt to help the party.

Talien Survival check 22
(Talien will not be inspecting in the darkness) He grabs a torch from his pack with one hand then draws his sword with the other, and asks Grom, If a fight breaks out in this darkness, can you light this torch for me?
"I can't see much," Rees says softly, "But I can try listening at a door or something if you think it'll help? Alten, did you say you saw tracks? I don't want to walk through and mess them up."
Alten's survivial 9 on the tracks at the northern end. Perception as well?
You follow the tracks through the room to the northern end and find that they stop at the threshold leading into the hallway ahead. The dust looks kicked up here and it is hard to discern what happened based on the patterns alone. You don't hear any noises coming from the hallway, nor do you see anything of interest in the soft darkness ahead.
DM Note: If you'd like to go back and help Meepo with the fountain then yes, please make a perception check as well [DC 15].

My vote is for the goblins. Much of what we need to deal with seems tied in there - Calcyrx, the kids, the apple, possibly the hammer.

"Then I would agree. The dragon door is not going anywhere," Arxius says. She looks at the map. "Best to see to our other quests first."

Grom will dismiss ungrim back to his pocket plane.
He will pick up a rock about the size of his hand and just hold onto it...
If we need it he can cast Light and then throw the rock
