I am looking for three more to fill out a pbp Curse of Strahd campaign. I will run it all through the dndbeyond forums, no need to worry about roll20 or discord. Post a level one character (standard array) and a brief introduction of yourself. The pace will be about a post per day, usually more, but I like to be fairly casual.
Quyst had a though life as a Tiefling raised in a small village of Humans. She never met her father, and her mother died when she was a teenager. She was bullied and people wouldn't trust her just because of her looks, which eventually made her act up to the expectations. However, she is still good - but she don't let people know it that easily.
She got her fiendish pact in pursuing power, and as most of these pacts happens, she was tricked - she killed an innocent young man in the woods. This resulted in 2 things: fleeing the village, and getting even deeper into the "I have to do good" thing, as a way to redeem herself.
EDIT: seeing the other replying I realized you want to know about the Player: I'm Brazillian, have been DMing for some friends since December, eager to be a player in something more than the few one-shots I've been before; never played PbP before.
I live in the U.S. PST and I've been playing 5E for over a year.
Character: Joetaro Jordilyn
Race and Class: Half-elf Paladin
Backstory: Joetaro was an orphan who grew up with aspirations to be a knight. He married at a young age and began training. After a training accident, he focused so hard on recovering that he drifted from his wife. He later divorced and worked as a bartender. He became so lonely that one evening he went to a cave of a red dragon in an attempt to end his own life. The dragon ended up being a silver dragon who realized what he was doing and neutralized him. After receiving some advice, Joetaro traveled to the Enclave of the Moon where he learned about the goddess Selune and her teachings. He eventually became a paladin in her service. However he travels the world in hopes of redeeming others rather than just slaughtering evil. He tends to use violence as a last resort, but he will fight if necessary.

I would love to play! I am willing to make any character depending on what the party needs, but I do have one idea to start with. I live in CT, and have class for the majority of the day. There should be not problem with me posting once per day though.
Backstory - With red hair and freckles, Uanstaer seems like an oddity with his obvious Elven ancestry. He grew up in a traveling band of freaks, performers, and other oddities, which helped him feel at home. It was with these people that he learned to play the panflute, sing along with his lyre and to eat fire. But most importantly, he learned to read fortunes. This started by bluffing his way through a set of carrot cards, but he always felt like he had a certain knack for it.
Backstory: From a very young age, Gardain had a great deal of interest in learning, particularly in the history and religion of his people. In the pursuit of these interests, he chose to live in a dwarven monastery dedicated of Dumathoin, the Keeper of Secrets under the mountain. He would have happily spent the rest of his days immersed in his studies when his monastery when Insurn, a monk who had gone on a pilgrimage, had failed to return when he said he would. After several weeks had gone by without having so much as a letter, it was decided amongst the monks to send out on of their own to investigate the disappearance. Gardain, concerned about Insurn and eager to learn of his whereabouts, volunteered. He managed to trace his last known location to Barovia, and upon learning this, immediately set out to the little village.
