Though not much of a gambler, Red'll play to be social, since the birdfolk get a kick out of it.
He has a hard time settling down, emotions going up and down. He is awful full of himself for being a clever badass: battle song and the dive and the "look out" move. Then he gets reminded of the death and injury and not being able to save Fat Drane or the other crew and feeling ashamed for feeling prideful - which all can see by his tail twitching and a bit of slouch alternating with a fabulous swagger.
So he'll play a dirge or act as Cantor at the funerals, as appropriate. He'll return the gratitude gesture to Aereek, and try to have some fun pairing the Aarakocra language with fiddling and whistling (Riders on the Storm? The Wind Cries Mary?) - maybe Vreek can teach Red a few words he can duplicate on the fiddle.
A cup of Ebokk's wine is quite welcome before he settles down to sleep.

Yaro will partake in dice, and is particularly entertained by Vreek and Aereeks enjoyment of the game. He leaves the game with a smile on his face before finding a comfortable corner in the cabin where he can rest and shut his eyes.
When sleep finally takes him, he dreams of clear skies and strong winds, with a storm just barely visible behind him on the horizon.
Therne is pretty quiet for the remainder of the day. She’s bound her ribs, but they still ache, so she is limiting her movement.

When Ebokk comes in to give them the news that they should arrive tomorrow, she asks “Do you have any idea what to expect there? I should like to prepare more useful spells than I had today.”
"I have absolutely no idea!" The dwarf laughs before he leaves the partition.
The next morning, as you are all sat down eating a lumpy porridge prepared by the crew, you hear the call to drop anchor. Racing to the deck, you survey your surroundings and find that the ship now rests off the southeast edge of a small wooded island. An old shipwreck protrudes from the choppy waters around the island's rocky southern shoreline. To the west, a large stony outcrop rises well above the sea, forming the highest point on the island. Along the eastern shore, a stretch of golden sand provides a more approachable place to land a smaller vessel.
As the crew prepares a rowboat for departure, Ebokk approaches wearing a sturdy breastplate over his fine clothing, and carrying his warhammer and shield. He also carries a pack which he claims to hold food and water for the journey, a mess kit, a tinderbox and some means to possibly bypass any locks you come across.
As you all wait to disembark, Aereek returns and relays his scout report to his brother, who translates and sketches out what the other aarakocra describes. After they hand you the map, Aereek adds through his brother that there is what seems to be an abandoned camp in a small clearing in the southern portion of the forest. The two bird-folk then bid you all farewell, thanking you for entertaining them the night before. They take flight and soar off in a southern direction.
Grout approaches your landing party. "Good luck master dwarf, it would seem you are in good hands. We'll stay anchored here for three days before leaving. We won't come looking if you're late." He gives a serious look, and a nod to the group of you before returning to his duties.
After your small boat is lowered into the sea some 400 ft. from the coast of the island, Ebokk turns to you all. "Well, here we are. Consider me a passenger to this treasure hunt, as you all appear more experienced than me when it comes to fighting, and Mister Seldom vouched for you all. I'm happy to leave the decisions up to the group of you from now on; I'll be even more happy when we finally find my beard ring!" He leans back, basking in the sun's rays, delegating the rowing to whoever wishes to take the mantle.

And I propose making for the nearest beach, and surveying from ashore - if we row direct to the wreck we could be far from a convenient landing point if get in trouble. Other thoughts, anyone?
As we head off, Red has a new song for this very moment. Appropriate rowing music.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zagrot gravitates towards the middle of the boat, away from the edges, somewhere close to Brozak's side. The orc looks somewhat trepidatious about being crammed into such a small, unstable space with so many people. He stands gripping a single javelin he'd taken from his bundle with one hand while keeping his traveler's pack steady at his side with the other. Tucked under his javelin-arm is a small, crudely made round shield.
He spends most of the ride in silence, scanning the island ahead.

OOC: Where on the map is the abandoned camp, and did it appear to be abandoned recently, or could he tell how long it had been abandoned? No other signs of sentient life, I assume?
[OoC]: Small opening in the trees just north of the shipwreck. That's the only information Aereek relayed.
[also OOC: I think I get that shaded is beach versus rocky shore. Checking, are the tufty things grassland or wetland symbols? Area without symbols rocky, grass, or barren?]
[OoC]: Shaded is beach. Tufts are long grass. the rest is flat grassland.
Zagrot can't spot anything untoward from this distance.
Zagrot watches Brozak carefully as the paladin takes to the oars. He leans down and, in his best attempt to whisper, he croaks, "You pray to who, soup-brother? Luthic? Bahgtru?"
The stony outcrop in the distance on the southwest tip of the island unnerves Abner a bit. He keeps squinting at it. "I wish we had enough gold to have bought that spyglass."
“Maybe we can scavenge one from the ship,” Therne says. “Though if something with that much value is still there, I’d be surprised.” She huffs a little in frustration. “I wish some of the animal forms I knew had better vision, but they’re mostly good at smell or hearing.”
As the boat makes his way to shore, Yaro inquires about the task ahead. "I never really received the full story. Do we have any idea where to start our search? What information do we have?"
Forgive me if I get the summary awry, Lord Lockforge, but his father went missing years ago. He went missing in the mountains, but somehow the mad pirate Flindbar was seen wearing the beard ring of the Lockforge clan. We think (probably?) that the wreck yonder was Flindbar's ship.
We also came across a text that Sister Therne studied - Flindbar and his crew of gnolls made a big impression in a short, brutal career. So we are hoping to find clues about the Elder Lockforge, find the beard ring, learn more about the tale. And, assuming there were pirates, collect what treasures we can.

At the mention of gnolls, however, the orc perks up in recognition. "We fight gnolls?" he asks excitedly. "That is work to do for Captain Ebokk?"
Red initially shows a look of panic at the prospect, not having realized the implication. I'd be glad if you were between me and them if they're there.

If it fits with orc culture or Zagrot's pride or whatever, Red will hand it over.

To Red: "Sure. Sounds good." He gives him a deep bow and hops into the front of the boat. "Are we headed to the southern end of that nice beach?"
He looks around. (Is there surf? Current?)
