Alynoa smiles, "I would be glad to help a priestess of Tymora. You said you're looking for a Banshee? That shouldn't be difficult, though I'm not sure where to find a silver comb. I haven't been in this town for long and don't know much about all the different shops." She places her spellbook back in the pocket of her coat and curtsy's to the priestess.
"What do you mean by more than an acolyte. I was under the impression that was what you become when you dedicated your life to the god or goddess's service. And what would a spellbook have to do with that? Tymora is a goddess of luck." The more Alynoa hears about the spellbook, the more she wanted to get her hands on it.
"I've no wish to ask questions. I bring information for them. A Warning." another step. "This town has been claimed by Orc lords of Wyvern Tor. Lord Og has demanded tribute of them. Lord Og says they do not have permission to operated here." another step forward. "They are to appear in two days with 200 gold."

"Oh? Hm... Good questions! Truthfully, my only business here is to drop off this."Salazar presents the chest, turning it about to make sure Lionshield crest was in full view. "My name is Salazar Falone. My... Former compatriots and I discovered this among many odds and ends in a cavern belonging to... less than savory folk, at the time. There were many remains as well that we presume were the former delivery men. None, as far as we could tell, had many indicators of a where from. At even the slightest touch or words, he snaps back out of it, if albeit at the cost of some brief disorientation.

A while later, probably an hour or so, you find yourself having been dumped in the middle of a farm near the edge of town, left to your own in the middle of the crops, your disguise long gone.
Salazar
As the woman looks the chest over, she almost smiles, seeing it. Taking it from Salazar before he could set it down, seeming to have no care for personal space. This looks like a shipment that went missing last month.... I appreciate it. Here. She says, counting out fifty gold coins, and handing them to Salazar. Lettign hem drop to the floor if Salazar wasn't quick on the uptake. Regardless of that all Names Linene greywind. Nice to make your aquaintence - whatever you are. She pulls out a small, blue sphere, and hands it to Salazar. the Orb appears Magical but inert currently.

He pulls his beret back on and start slowing walking back toward the center of town. "Still, seeds have been sown. Time to see about that reaping. Maybe a stiff drink."
Lark will make his way back to the Inn, making several twists and unnecessary turns. Doubling back on his tracks and trying to be careful about anyone following him. stealth: 14.
Once back at the Inn, he will stake out a table and wait for everyone else to show. He will drink one of whatever is considered the "Strong stuff" and then switch to water.

After the briskness of her previous actions, a more prepared Salazar catches the coin with a strained but professional smile worn after a time. "Do you not--?"He started to say, only to stop when handed the Orb. Thoughtlessly, the scholar started to study the thing after putting away the coin. "Fascinating." Blinking back tears of astonishment, he bows formally to the woman. "Thank you for this boon, Lady Greywind. It will be treasured... Though before I go, might I ask what it is? And.. this is a more personal request, but would you know of an Iarno's whereabouts? Or who beside one Barthen had any dealings with a Gundrun -- he's a dwarf, shield lineage -- might have had dealings with in town on a seeming frequent basis? If your busy, I can of course come back later. Just thought I'd ask now." He requests politely.
Once Salazar had his answers, he heads back towards the temple with Cart in tow, hoping to catch up with Alnoya on the way back to the Inn. Although the scholar still remained curious about the elven woman's worry, he would hold his tongue until the party were united again.

Alynoa smiles, "Thank you Garrie. I'd be happy to help you. Would there be anything else I should look out for while I'm talking to Agatha." Alynoa takes the spellbook and places it next to her, itching to take a look at it when she's out of sight of the acolyte to see if there is anything good in it or if she's going to have to wait and see what Garrie translates out of it. It wouldn't hurt to see if she could get a spell or two out of this book if once the acolyte is done with it she gets to keep it. "Also, how did you know that I would be someone who could help you with this issue you're having. I look like every other person who walks through here everyday I'm sure."
5 seems to make his way through town unnoticed, wending this way and that. Drawing a few stares from the few people that noticed him, as its impossible in a town to go wholly unnoticed in the middle of the day. Regardless, the sun sines warm, countering the cold of the snow, keeping the temperature at a happy medium. Children were playing in the green, farmers, travelers, merchants, and the like hawking their wares, and bustling about. It wasn't crowded but it was busy enough.
As Lark enters the inn, he's greeted by Toblen Stonehill, the innkeeper, saying 'welcome back' and such as he heard the goblins order. Bringing over a fine elvish wine, to the sum of 7 gold, but Lark got a decanter. And a medium barrel of water-tap brought to his table, with a spare glass. The Inn was mostly empty.
About twenty minutes later, a gnome walked in, looking like a farmer, pointing his finger at Lark, saying You green fiend! did you steal from m-my c-crops?!
Salazar
Linene huffs You're a chatty one aren't you? You're welcome. Thank you for returning my shipment. Iarno passed through some months ago and left, about the same time these brigands invaded the town. That's all I know. And yes, But Gundren knew to get to the point - just like you can figure out what that sphere is by yourself. Unless you have some coin. I'll answer your question for 25 gold. But if you're not shopping, and your business is thusly concluded, please be on your way, I'm a very busy person. I don't mean to sound crass, but I have a business to run.
Alynoa
Garrie smiles back brightly, kissing you on the forehead if you don't stop her or avoid it. And if I knew of more I would most certainly tell you, but I'm afraid I do not. Otherwise I could probably have solved this quandry myself she says with a small frown, and an apologetic look cast your way as shes not trying to insult you. And I don't know.. you look the scholarly or knowledgeable type.. something like that.... Either way I've run my rope... and am at my wits end. So Hopefully, you will succeed, where I have failed. But together we may, just be able to push through!

Alynoa dodges the kiss, backing up and nodding, "Well then, I hope I can figure out this issue for you. Good to meet you, I'll come back with news, either good or bad. See you soon." She leaves the temple, pulling the spellbook Garrie gave her out as she walks down the street and inspects it. She makes her way through the village until she arrives at either Barthens or a different general goods store.
Knocking on the door before entering. "Hello, I'm looking to purchase a few things if you're still open." She opens the door and looks around if the door opens.

"You drive a hard bargain, my Lady. But unless the deal includes information on Gundrun -- which by initial sounds of it, it doesn't -- I have taken more than enough of your time." He admits, the corner of his lips twitching upwards to a smile. So long as he is not proven wrong about the Gundrun side of things, he bids her adieu with a final bow and a short promise to return with others that may have more appropriate business for her later. Whereby he heads to the Inn by cart(as previously mentioned).

Lark regards the Gnome for moment. Stands up and offers his hand in amity.
"If you allow me friend, my name is Lark. And you might be? I happen to have a decanter of fine Elvish wine and an extra glass. Join me in a drink and allow me to regale you with the story of how I ended up unconscious in your fields." Persuasion 16
Lark pours the Gnome a glass of wine and begins his story.
"The answer to your question is no, I was not relieving you of your hard won crops. I was seeking contact with a local gang when I was set upon by hoodlums most foul, four or five of them, dragged me into an alley and commenced beating me with cudgels. I managed to defeat two of the scoundrels before I was dealt a cunning blow...from behind, the coward! When I awoke I found myself a few gold lighter and in your fields good sir. I am truly good and sorry to have pulled you away from your duties to track down this mistaken vagabond."
Lark gestures to the Gnome's wine.
"Please good sir, tell me a bit about yourself."

Garrie seems a but upset that you avoided it but she understood not everyone was as touchy as she was. Nodding at your words, and seeming hopeful of your success, she waves goodbye to you cheerily, before turning around to pray at the shrine. Seemingly thanking Tymora for her great fortune. More people bustling about ignoring the scene. Eventually Alynoa makes her way to Barthens, the only general goods store in the town. Being Greeted much as Sildar had. Why hello there little lady! What can we do for you ... Ah well, what are you seeking to purchase? We have many things!
Mm, take care then traveler. be sure to come back should you need arms or armor. Sorry if I came off rude... but I am busy. She seemed happy enough, if a bit brusque as she focused on her work. Clearly she was a 'get to the point' type.
Salazar makes his way to the inn, seeing much of what Lark does, arriving just after an apparently disgruntled farmer begins slinging accusations.
Lark
The gnome looks at the hand, then to Lark.. then to the hand.... and after the bards honeyed words, he lets out a sigh MMm.. Okay.... I suppose it couldn't hurt to hear you out.. (OOC - Also... lmfao you ****in' liar! Hahahahaha + 1 inspiration)
The gnomes visage changes and shifts back and forth, between worry, hope, hoorah!, among other gnomly emotions as you regale him with the most believable, and fantastical tale the farmer has heard in a while. Forgetting his drink the entire time, being utter enraptured by your pontificating performance! Smashing his hand on the table as the final blow was dealt T-T-t-those bastards! Cowards they are and always have been. They fleeced me and my wife just the other night! W-Why i'd report them to the guard if there was one! I'm so sorry good sir, for having defamed your honor. I feel unworthy of your p-p-pratronage but since you insist, I suppose it would be rude to refuse! Taking the liquid containment device and taking a long sip, but eventually reaching the bottom. Huuaaaaaa that has to be the best drink i've ever had, is this yours or did they have this here all along?! B-but i forget myself..... A goblin of such fine demeanor couldn't possibly be the bandit. But.. if it isn't too much of me to impose this is where, if Salazar chooses to enter, he would come in. But my son keeps running off, the little scamp! keeps saying he's found a cave nearby, and I'm oh-so worried he's going to get in trouble for snooping around. Even if it's just a rocky incropping, the reddies don't like when people explore outside their 'domain' as they like to say... Could I ask you to keep an eye on him sir? Just for today.. I realize how rude I am being but....
"Oh my, what have I walked into." The scholar mutters to himself upon witnessing the scene. Although he steps aside for any wishing to go through the door, the man stays largely nearby it, too flabbergasted in the moment to even know where to begin, or if he should step forth just yet. But he gets over the shock... eventually, and goes all the way through towards the tail end of things, but waits awkwardly nearby to see how Lark chose to handle things before interjecting any time soon. But even in his awkwardness, mention of "domains" and "caves" gets the man to rubbing his chin deep in thought over the matter.

Lark watches thoughtfully as the Gnome drinks and talks about his son. He sips his wine slowly, head still aching from the earlier blow. He notices Salazar hesitation at the door and smiles; He waves his new friend over .
"Seems wanderlust has seized our young master. I do not see the harm in watching over the lad. Master Salazar, allow me to introduce...well, its seems I am a disadvantage. You and I have failed to introduce ourselves amidst the unfurling drama. I am Lark and you are?" As he says his name, Lark waves his hand about in the air and bows. "This is Master Salazar, a finer man you will not find in a ten days walk."
Turning to Salazar, "We have a great deal to discuss when the party gains itself again. Much has transpired this day. How did your errands fare?" Lark will offer some wine if there is any left, after bugging the bartender for another glass.

Once back at the Inn, he will stake out a table and wait for everyone else to show. He will drink one of whatever is considered the "Strong stuff" and then switch to water.

After the briskness of her previous actions, a more prepared Salazar catches the coin with a strained but professional smile worn after a time. "Do you not--?" He started to say, only to stop when handed the Orb.

Lark
