Landing solid blows each time, roaring spittle on you all, before retreating down into the crevasse climbing along the wall down into the darkness. It can be heard for a while before the sound ceases.
A moment later, footsteps can be heard running towards the group, as a wavering light that after a moment, you all realize is a torch begins charging at you. Though it seems to be a lone redbrand, for now.

Cirrus will call the damaged wolf to him, “Robin, here.” And keep it close to try to keep it out of harm’s way.
“Do you guys know you have a horrific monster in your base?” Cirrus says to the redbrand, pointing to the crevice. “See for yourself!”
cirrus is hoping that the red brand will go to the edge to look. If that happens, Cirrus will wait until he is out of the redbrand’s line of sight, then look at Vimak and make head gestures toward the redbrand, indicating that Vimak should push the redbrand off the edge. If all these unlikely circumstances come to pass, Cirrus will shout to the monster “offering of flesh!”
if the redbrand instead begins attacking the party, Cirrus will sic Ronin (the ashen wolf who is not damaged) on the redbrand. 1d20+4 to hit, 2d4+2 piercing damage.

You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
OOC: In light of Cirrus' move, I would like to hold off and take back Bastille's previously stated course of action, if possible. I want to see what comes of this plan before acting.
Vimak glances between the Red Brand and the retreating creature, which he really, really wants dead. He can't have his mind taken from him. Exercising every bit of self-control he has, he will hold his action to see how the Red Brand responds to Cirrus.
If the Red Brand does move towards the edge, Vimak will shove him in: 26
If the Red Brand does not move toward the edge, Vimak will Attack:24, Damage: 12
((OOC - Sadly.. the Nothic is allied with the redbrands...))
Vimak readies himself for the eventualities, as Cirrus attempts to instill fear, and coax the redbrand towards the edge. Oh yeah! Our boss has a deal with that thing he does. Dunno why he keeps it, it's always tryna to betray us.... luckily it has no patience when it's 'ungry. Seeing the plan failed, Vimak launches a harsh attack at the redbrand, crumpling the mans left shoulder. Followed by Attack: 14 Damage: 7 a vicious bite from the wolf, tearing out the mans throat as he falls to the ground, dead.
Bastape, finding no more need to attack, looks around.
It will take 2 more 'rounds' before anyone else reaches your position, but they may not be the only ones in the area.
"I say we hide in this pit and kill that thing while we are down there," Vimak says. He begins to take his rope from his pack, hoping the others will follow him down.
Bastille can't say anything in ape form but she wants the Nothic dead as much as Vimak does so she prepares to accompany Vimak into the pit using the climbing abilities granted to her by her ape form.
Cirrus is dumbfounded that they are pursuing the deadly monster, but sees that he has lost the majority vote, so he will follow reluctantly.

Vimak will toss the rebrand's body into the crevasse. He will then try to take his 50 foot rope and put it around either a post that is part of the railing of the bridge or around one of the stone pillars. He will arrange the rope so that there are two 25 foot strands dangling down into the pit. The middle of the rope will be around either a post or a pillar. Taking the two 25 foot strands in hand, he will descend down into the crevasse. Once he and his colleagues are at the bottom, he will pull on one end of the rope until the entire rope has fallen in with them.
As Vimak does this, he faintly hears the plop of the ends of the rope on the bottom, as the crevasse, though nearly pitch black in visibility (unless Vimak has the torch with him still, however that will make you easier to spot as well) as he descends the rope easily. Bastape easily climbing down on her own, and Cirrus following suit with Vimak. Then Vimak pulling the rope down to hide any potential evidence, as the group is shrouded in darkness. The area feels unnaturally cold, even for wintertime, though currently none of you can tell why. The Nothic is nowhere to be seen, though occasionally you can hear the scrabbling of rocks coming from 'deeper' into the crevasse, where Bastille could see before.
1 round remains before the area you were previously in was swarmed.
As Vimak shuffles around below though, the loose, rocky terrain (difficult) his foot meets a solid thud. Initially he thinks its the corpse of the redbrand, however on further inspection, whether by sight, or touch, he would feel that half the body had been devoured, of an elf, with a look of a tradesman.
if the response is yes, he will light the candle with Prestidigitation.

Upon reaching the ground, Bastille realizes she is unable to see through the darkness in this form so her body begins to thin and her fur shortens and goes back into the skin and the white dress as she reverts back to her true form. With the 60ft Darkvision, she should be able to see clearly in the pit.
If she spots the Nothic she will tell her companions its location and get ready for combat. "We need light. The I see the creature."
If she doesn't see the Nothic, she whispers back to her companions, "No, we should not have lights. They will see us. Move beneath the bridge. It will make it harder to find us." Using her regained sight in the darkness, Bastille will stand under the bridge and try to not make any noise so their positions aren't found out (Stealth: 19) . She will then keep her eyes and ears open to get an idea of what the Red Brands are doing (after the arrive at the party's previous location near the entrance) and to make sure the Nothic doesn't ambush them. OOC: Since I think rolling twice is pushing the action economy, I'm just going Passive Perception (16 -5 due to dim light) because Bastille should still be able to see with moderate accuracy even without actively searching for anything. In case you still want a Perception roll, 13 Dis: 13
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Bastille, after a moment can see, the Nothic in retreat, like a wounded animal almost at the farthest end of the crevasse, roughly 70 feet away from their current position. It doesn't seem to have any intent to return or attack due to the grevity of it's wounds. Vimak manages to get under the bridge just a few moments before the first chunk of redbrands show up. Several of them on both sides of the bridge, roughly counting 6 visible, but clearly more that can't be seen. Cirrus had joined the others 20 a little less quietly than Vimak, but again, the redbrands were a bit too slow to hear this, luckily. No one replied to Cirrus' question, and he went silent the moment the redbrands began milling.
Among those milling about, a few sets of heavier steps, just out of sight, due to the angle, and with guttural sounding voices, speaking in rough, gravelly common., though the words are inaudible due to the echoing and distance. However, one word, mildly amplified by thaumatergy, rose above the rest, coming from the entrance to he hideout. Some of you remembering the murdered redbrand mentioning 'he' was almost likely already waiting for you, but as you hadn't ran out as he had anticipated....
My dear, fellows.... It appears we have been attacked... by whom, I do not know. But they were here. Our friend Nothis informed me that they had attempted to convince him to betray us..... but that he had steadfastly disapproved, proving his loyalty to our cause, and attacked them. Though he was overwhelmed. So we are not dealing with townsfolk. We are dealing with outsiders. They are more dangerous than you think. Stay together in groups no less than three... and keep one of our allies with each group at all times. While we may not know where they are.... We do know they are capable. I would love to help you all, but as it seems the hideout has become compromised.. I must inform the Spider... before anything untowards, were to happen to me.The thaumaturgy got louder, amplified. And to our esteemed guests.....
Wherever you may be, you know not with whom you assail. And I would suggest.. for your own sakes, you abandon whatever fools errand you may be on. And do not worry, I already took care of the fool who let you inside. He will trouble neither of us any longer. However, as thanks for announcing your existence in such a grand manner... I shall reward you with knowledge. All of our prisoners are to be executed within an hour, until then, they will be tortured, mercilessly, flayed, and skinned, slowly. So make your choice heroes. Abandon them and save yourselves, or.. continue on knowing every corner lies in wait of you now. With that, I bid you, Adieu.~
A flash of magic, and the man seems to have vanished.
Over the next few minutes, the shuffling of feet can be heard, as the redbrands form into groups, atleast one, large being with each group of redbrands, that Bastille can see are bugbears.
Vimak looks up at the Redbrands he can see and then at the Nothic. He tries to think about the moves the creature made as it attacked them and how well or poorly the Redbrands they have fought so far battled. He really wants to attack the Nothic, but if it spoke in his head it could probably warn the Redbrands and call for their help. If he was better at sneaking up on things, he would sneak up on it. Patience is what he needs, just like his old mom used to say. He doesn't trust the loud voice and its claims of torture. The voice was just trying to draw them out.
He is not sure if his colleague can see it, but he presses a finger to his lips. Then he points to the Redbrands, puts his palms together and pretends they are a pillow. Once the Redbrands are asleep or distant the three of them can slay the Nothic. But he also shrugs. He has pantomimed his suggestion. (OOC: Performance? 22, and thank you Raiketsu.)
