"I will take one health potion please! Those other potions are mighty tempting but I just don't have the coin. You wouldn't happen to need any work done in exchange for that Potion of Poison would ya?"
"Hmm I do not possess any desire except for coin at the moment. Here is your health potion." Nedrick is handed a single health potion.
Despite Rhaucred intense watching, he is unable to find anything off about the vendor. It seems to be a standard shop.
Mort, TT, Hunding:
Barnard turns from locking the door and says "Oh this is part of the multi-dimensional trade clause enacted by the sultan. He has his most powerful wizards open up portals to other realms by request. Sometimes they can take up to two weeks to be processed, but they are normally accepting on any request that has promise of bringing gold or goods back to the city. Now then, shall we be on our way?" Barnard steps forward and heads to the portal, then enters. Ramul follows suite.
Arcana check: This seems to be a standard inter-planar portal enacted by a plane-shift spell. The magic to cast it is quite high level and Mort remembers that from his studies that it requires a moderately expensive reagent. The magicians of the sultan must be quite skilled.
Mort scratches his head and thinks "Unther... Gunther.... Punther? Ah they all start to run together at some point. The history in the academy was never my strongest point!"
Rhaucred will try to catch Nedrick and speak to him after he has walked away from the shop.
"Well the potion vendor doesn't seem to be up to anything suspicious with the average customer at least. I could make you invisible if you want to check around back of it, but if you think we should try a different stand we can. I can cast it twice if I need to. And a short rest will be all I need to do it again. "
The three follow Barnard into the portal, they can feel their bodies pull and twist before they emerge onto the other side. They feel a cool embrace of the air, an air they have not felt in a long time. It feels like they have returned home. While it is a bit warm, it is no where near at hot as the realm of fire, even in the City of Brass's relative comfort. Looking around, they appear to be in a small wooden room about the same size as the one they just came from. There is one door in front of them that is opened with Ramul standing in the door way, looking at you. Barnard greets them and says "About time you came! I was beginning to get a bit worried. Welcome to Unther! Would you like to head to the tomb or would you like to gather more knowledge first from the local villagers?"
Rhaucred and Nedrick
Nedrick and Rhaucred find a small alleyway near the portal vendor. They take a few steps down, looking around to ensure that nobody is watching, Rhaucred casts invisibilty onto Nedrick. Nedrick is now invisible.

”its good to be home....what? villagers? perhaps we can hit a tavern on the way. they may have some insight to what we may face in the temple...and ale.
As Nedrick goes back into the potion shop, he notices that there is one door to the side of the room. He moves as stealthily as he can, but one of the wooden floor planks below him lets out a loud "SQUEEEECH" as he puts his foot on it. The potion clerk looks over in his direction, and pauses for a brief moment. He then continues on to writing on a pad near the register. Nedrick continues to the door but it is locked. He looks around again but does not notice any writing of any sort.
Mort, TT, Hunding:
The group inform Barnard of their decision to find a tavern, he nods and says "Alright, well we just had a bite to eat, but if it is information you need, we will ask around here at the town hall and see if we can find out anything." They then head their separate ways.
Mort, TT and Hunding leave the building and head outside. They are greeted to a desert courtyard with sandstone buildings and camels. Looking around, Mort sees someone leaving a place with a stumble that Mort would recognize anywhere. Pointing his hand they head over to a large building, about 50 feet by 40 feet with a second floor that holds what appears to be an outside porch for drinking and dining. The sign reads "The Sandy Saloon". Moving into the tavern, Mort looks around and notices that there are only about 10 patrons in the interior. Three at one table, two at another, two at another table, and three sitting individually at the bar. There is a single man behind the bar rubbing a glass with a towel. He sees the group walks in and gives a slight nod when Mort makes eye contact.
There are a few tables available and there are 5 stools remaining at the bar.

Nedrick waits patiently, watching the clerk. After about 10 minutes a potential customer (an effretti male wearing fine, silk garments) comes in and asks him about the days special potions.
Mort, TT, Hunding:
The man behind the bars looks at TT, and with a bit of a smirk says "Well, we have some bread with our finest local honey! It is better than cake, you should try some."
Mort asks for an ale and the bartender says "Coming right up." As he slowly fills the glass from a barrel behind the bar, Mort asks him about the temple. The bartender closes the tap and turns around to Mort and says "Ah, you must be with those gents from the fire realm. Look I'll be honest, there isn't much good to say about that temple. There was once a great culture here in Unther, but that lifestyle faded a long time ago. Now all we are left with are these giant moments to dead rulers that we never knew. Many have tried to grave rob but between the traps and curses, none seem to be too successful. Heck the last lad I knew that tried to journey in, came out missing his eye! What a poor fool he was." He hands the beer to Mort and says "3 copper for the ale, and if you would like more information I am sure I can be persuaded to remember something." Mort looks from his hand to his face to see a large grin across it.
Nedrick pulls out 50 gold pieces.
