Chance that Irtos - the lizardman standing next to the Queen dressed in a kelp-colored robe and holding a long, polished tooth - understands some Common (10 % chance) = 50. Oh lordy yes - about one word in eight.
As Thrash approaches the Queen and hears her whispered command, Irtos turns to the Queen with frill raised and hisses “svadrav tira wux tor seltur moliki ekess tawura ihk wux?. Svaust told astahi zahae wer irthos ifni? Kii tir astahii ukris zahae ixenic? Ilroevi svabol re astahii yentair?
The queen looks back at him and says with a smirk in Thash’s direction. “Thrash shilta kikrem!”

When did you ask soft skins to work for you? Who told them about the secret door? Why do they talk about fires? Exactly what are they saying?
ooc: i will be camping all next week and will not be back to normal until next monday. I will try to post but I doubt I will be able to much at all. Please feel free to control my character as much as needed so that I do not hold up the game. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience!
Thrash would attempt to stand tall, trying his best to ignore his fresh wounds. "si jahus sent ekess collect laraeki ekess klae seanf wer xiiva folk. ti ergriff tira si chiilipen sia mission, shar si managed dronilnr wer daariv vi ship lae algbo lae vi lauth skilled slathalinari." He would say through gritted teeth as he glares at Irtos. I was sent to collect weapons to use against the fish folk. Not only did I complete my mission, but I managed bring the queen a ship as well as a few skilled fighters.
The two cowards that accompanied me were supposed to have arrived by now. They should have let you know we were coming. Perhaps they were killed by the frog men that attacked us. We killed many of them but had to take a different route to the lair. That is why we came through the secret entrance.
Tiro bows towards Her Majesty, "Tirohia te Moana at your service Ma'am," he says in common, "We heard you were having trouble with some Sahuagin, the scourge of the oceans and the enemy of all right-minded peoples. We have brought these weapons to aid you in this struggle. Is there any further way in which we may be of assistance?"

I'm thinking of putting a stop to this campaign. Whilst there is some great source material in Ghosts of Saltmarsh it is not really a set of linked adventures. The fact that it was originally designed for Advanced Dungeons and Dragons which some of you may remember and has just been updated for 5e is I think part of its problem.

Keep a character slot free as I'm going to have a go at running "Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden' when it comes out in September. All players - if you want - will be given first right of refusal to play in that campaign. Subject to seeing what the campaign actually involves I'll let people transfer - if they wish - their existing characters into that campaign.

The rest of the party sees Thrash have a conversation with what appears to be the Queen and an advisor. Does anybody want to do anything?

Gilly would love to inspire Thrash, but it doesn't seem the right time to start jamming on his flute nor his horn.

I'm OK with that decision. Thanks for the game Grant.
I must admit I do quite like Tiro, but I can understand the decision, I'll just have to resurrect him elsewhere.
