Thrash will lash out at the sailor as he replies back to the captain. The heavily armored lizardfolk's clawed feet peeling up bits of wood as he digs in and swings his flail with all his might. The barbed tips of the weapon whistling through the air as they fly towards the sailor.
Thrash connects with his flail. Not long afterwards you hear a plaintive voice cry out from the room where Thrash and his companions were staying “broeders soos Thrash sal die dood van my wees. Handel eers, dink later is die enigste manier waarop hulle weet!”Then the voice starts chanting “Secomber gee my die krag van u steeds honger slawende kake, u skerp kloue en u harde vel, sodat my mense kan oorleef.”You then hear a noise as if some sort of beast has been summoned to the cabin where Thrash and his companions were staying.

Tiro considers the idea that the captain might be a big threat, however he still thinks that the spellcaster up on the top deck needs to be dealt with. He will again attempt to hit the purple sailor with his guiding bolt Attack: 18 Damage: 10
"That's more like it," says Tyro, "I think I've sussed this out now, hopefully the next one will finish him." as he moves further along the deck towards the door to room 7, keeping his back pressed to the wall.
"Where is Sidgurd?" Hallard mutters as he shoots another beam of cold air at the closest sailor before scanning the deck for the captain.
Attack: 10 Damage: 2
OOC: DM has allowed me to Retcon as I didn't see the captain appear.
Spotting the large captain walk out, Hallard smiles. He calls out to Sigurd, "There you are! I think its time you and I had round two." As he says this, the sky behind him darkens. "Its time for you to understand the true power of the ocean and its servants." There is a flash of lightning and the air cools.

History has a habit of repeating itself …
Sigurd looks up as the sky darkens around Hallard and (DC 14 [Wis] required but 14 rolled) and he backs away just slightly.
Just as Tiro gets close to the door it flies open and smacks him in the face for 3 damage. Everybody else sees an ogre sized lizardman (DM secret throw = 20) rush out chanting “rip, byt, doodmaak, eet!”as he attacks the Captain (DM Secret throw = 22) first with its claws (Attack: 10 Damage: 12) but in its frenzy (4) its feet start to slip out from under it (18) and despite its scrabbling claws it slips to the deck at the feet of the First Mate and the Captain.
The acid that had covered Tiro in the previous attack continues to burn him (8). The purple sailor on the poop deck moves his hands in a spiralling fashion and a bolt of lightning shoots towards Hallard (Attack: 10 Damage: 1) and sails past him burning a hole in the mainsail.
Gilly leaves the safety of the cabin and crosses the deck while half chanting/half singing a melancholy verse that ends with "You met another and *pbbbbt* you were gone," attempting to cast bane on the red and purple pirates and the captain. (If he can't get the purple pirate, so be it.)
Gilly squeezes into a spot next to the rail on the other side of Hallard and casts his spell (Sigurd's (Captain - Yellow) save = 18 & Baba Rouge's(Mate - Red) save = 21)
Two more Sailors appear from below decks and attack the Giant Lizardman with their scimitars (Attack: 11 Damage: 4 and Attack: 15 Damage: 3). While the first blow glances off its iron hard skin the second draws blood from a deep slash.
The Red Sailor then attacks Thrash with its Longsword (Attack: 19 Damage: 3 and Attack: 7 Damage: 12).
Sigurd then fires his Hand Crossbow at Hallard yelling out "I'm not that frightened of ya!"(Attack: 11 Damage: 8 whilst striking at the Giant Lizardman with his longsword (Attack: 19 Damage: 4) and hits with both.
Before Sigurd can get his attacks away, Vhon calls on his patron and casts Sleep at the group standing near the Captain (27) (Secret DM roll = 16 and 13) and both the First Mate and the Blue Pirate (who had just arrived from below deck collapse to the ground.

Thrash would growl as red sailor lands a blow with his sword. "si"ll sone dout ehaism" He would shout in draconic as he swings his flail forward once more as the muscles in his arm bulge under his scales and the tips of his flail whistle through the air.
As his original target crashes to the ground unconscious, Thrash steps forward and attacks the Captain. The third Lizardman comes out of his cabin and mutters something to himself "Dit is nou in die kake van Secomber, maar wat die uitslag ook al is, die jong broei sal hom lewenslank skuld!as he watches the battle.

It is now in the jaws of Secomber but whatever the outcome, the young hatchling will owe him a life debt!.

Tiro decides that staying alive is probably the most important thing here and casts Cure Wounds on himself for 4 . "Well I guess I feel a little better." Tiro mutters under his breath, along with a few other choice words.
Seeing Sigurd take a wary step back, Hallard grins and continues the assault, fully focused on the captain. He takes a few trembling steps forward, not quite steady without his staff. He then points at Sigurd and stomps his foot on the ground, a tentacle made of water and and crackling energy rips up from the floor in front of the captain and slams at him.

Bearing his teeth in a grimace instead of a grin, Gilly moves forward, brandishing his stolen dagger. "Just remember what you've been taught," he says, giving himself a pep talk. He swings the blade at the red pirate.
Bonus: Bardic inspiration
Crossbow attack: 22, damage: 5 piercing damage
OOC: Pbbt! Not even going to try to increase it with my bardic inspiration.
Sigurd manages to just dodge the water tentacle attack from Hallard. The Giant Lizardman takes advantage of the Captain's distraction to attack first with its claws (Attack: 16 Damage: 13) and then with its bite (Attack: 16 Damage: 11).
The purple sailor moves his arms in a manner that Tiro recognises but this time it is aimed at the Giant Lizardman (Attack: Unable to parse dice roll. Damage: 9) who grunts in pain as the green arrow hits him and he is covered in acid.
Gilly's attempt to strike the Captain misses.
As Gilly closes on the Captain and swings at him, the Orange sailor swings at the Giant Lizardman with his scimitar (Attack: 11 Damage: 2). The door from the lower decks flies open and a tattooed sailor (Blue) of orcish descent with a hook in place of his left hand and a hammer in his right hand steps out onto the deck. He looks at his two opponents and decides to attack Thrash (Attack: 16 Damage: 4) first with his hammer and then with his hook (Attack: 22 Damage: 4)
(OOC: Can somebody bot Vhon for me as I'm currently running most of the combatants in this fight).
