"Nice job fellas, You made quick work of that one!" Zeph would say excitedly as he moves to the body and examines it for any signs of useful items hanging from its bones..
Investigation! 6
(OOC: so there were no items found in the skeleton death room right? The room I almost died in :D )
Zeph would then cast dancing lights once again and light up the hallways so others can see while he finishes looking over the skeleton.
"Careful now, he may not have been alone." Vhon moves quietly into the room eyes darting around for other threats as Zin and Floki finish off the skeleton "We are getting quite good at this, hopefully there aren't too many more though. Or any more, I'd settle for that, no more skeletons would be great." Looking at the corpse Vhon calls over to Zin and Floki "Does he have anything that looks valuable on him?"He also begins scanning the room for other signs of treasure.
"That's the attitude Zin, still I won't object if we've just finished, that's all I'm saying, doesn't seem that likely though for some reason..." Vhon tails off as he resumes his searching "Doesn't see like these would have been the cause of us being sent here either, so there may still be a whole lot of smugglers about, possibly upstairs, but I think we should finish checking down here first before we go back up."
"Don't forget those chests we need to look through!" Zeph would pipe up. "We need to get our moneys worth out of this place before we give the all clear" he would say with a smile.
As you search each of the skeletons you discover that One rib bone on each of the skeletons is dipped in gold.
Your search of the room where you battled the Skeletal figure in robes confirms that it is indeed a laboratory. a) On the bench running down north wall are jars of powders and liquids and several pieces of chemical apparatus b) There is a table against the south wall, forming an L-shape with the bench. i) A book is open on the table. Zeph as you examine the book you can see that the title on its spine reads ‘Ye Secret of Ye Philosopher’s Stone’ ii) Also on the table is a candlestick, with a tiny stump of unlit candle still in it, and a variety of other items that, even in the dim light, shine with the warmth of pure gold. One of these objects looks like a human skull. iii) Also on the table are several stacks of coins (taran, centaur, danter) totaling 47 GP.
As you search the robed skeletal figure you discover in a pouch on its belt a soft silken bag and in the bottom of the pouch a flat, gray-and-black river stone inscribed with an unknown arcane symbol that feels cool to the touch.

Zin looks at the stuff on the tables. "I don't know anything about vials and potions and such, but I do know gold. I'd almost think this creature was somehow turning stuff into gold. We should collect the stuff made of gold at least."
Zephyr will pick up the book and look to the others. "Take everything... I maybe the book explains how to turn items to gold... I think we should take it all" He would say motioning to all the jars and powders and tools.
"I agree we should take everything made of gold for a start, those things look interesting too - we can check them out later" Vhon says pointing at the bag and stone. "See if anything is in the bag... carefully!" he adds after a moment. Looking around the room he smiles "This deal is starting to look better and better, that's a lot of gold for a few minutes work."

"Hey, can anyone open those chests from before?" Zephyr would mention while casually flipping through the book."I dont want to leave anything behind... Captain needs a new boat" the tabaxi would say with a Grin as he flips through the pages. "Should we give the upstairs another look as well?
Zin pauses for a moment and looks into the bag. "There's something up with this bag, I've heard of bags like this, they hold lots of stuff. I was worried about carting this stuff around but this with this bag we can carry all of this chemistry stuff."
Zin starts collecting all of the stuff from the benches and putting it in the bag wondering just how much it holds.

"Does anyone want this stone or I'll leave it in the bag for now?"
(( Is there a list of stuff so I can keep track of it on my sheet what's in the bag? ))
"Captain does indeed need a new boat, let's see how much that bag can take Zin, load it up!" Vhon has a broad smile on his face as he scans the room watching the treasure be packed away. "After you've finished we need to get on, there are more dangers down here, mark my words." He walks back to the door making sure nothing is sneaking up on them, crossbow loaded and ready.
