"If the goblins have your dragon, we'll take care of it"Spotty says, choosing his words carefully. There was a Draconic phrase he'd heard before: "Never cage a dragon." So he isn't sure how he feels about returning this dragon to its captivity.
That would be great, yes, if you do, I will consider rewarding you and your ... allies ... Meepo here can take you to Goblin territory, he is our Keeper of Dragon so he is of no use to us here right now!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Martin looks around the room carefully trying to determine what kind of religious symbols there may be and if any could be considered an affront to the "true" gods.

Gwenant's gaze snaps to the kobold queen once she starts speaking in common, though she frowns on hearing the way she speaks of Meepo. Between her words and the way Meepo was curled up and weeping in the other room, not to mention the cage for the young dragon, she can't help but think less of Yusdrayl. Gwenant already knows what it's like to be caged, and it isn't the kind of fate she's keen to force upon another, but she also can't ignore the fact that, at least for now, their little band is much better off with the help of the kobolds than without. Keeping that last point in mind, she chimes in after Renny speaks.
"Is there anything you can tell us anything about the goblins? We'll have an easier time of it if we know what we're up against."
Zak is totally unsure of these Kobolds. He thinks they are creepy. He doesn't like the feel of this room and the vibe in here.
(All this coming from a half orc lol)
He remains quiet, does not introduce himself, does not greet any of the Kobolds, does not engage in the conversation once it turns to common - just stands tall with his chest puffed out trying to look big (bigger), in a way almost trying to intimidate/scare the queen Kobold, waiting for what is next.
He’s only a little Wyrmling, about three or four years old I believe.. we have been raising it since it hatched...
... as for the Goblins, we only know that they outnumber us, we haven’t been in their territory, so not much I can tell you about them. I know this, they sometimes go on errands for their master, Belak the Outcast they call him.. he was here before any of us were...
Martin: you only see signs of dragon worship. Although there’s on symbol on the wall that seems to indicate some Kobolds might still pray to Kurtulmak, the Kobold god of war and mining.
Seeing the signs of worship to an actual god and not some creature that is clearly not divinity, Martin takes a little sigh of relief. He did not mind people worshiping other god's just that they didn't blaspheme the gods with worship of false gods. Upon hearing the name of "Belak the Outcast" Martin listens a little closer. leaning to Hef he whispers. "Wonder what he did to become an outcast."

I don’t know much about the Outcast, only that he keeps his experiments to his quarters and leaves us alone! He was already living here when we discovered the place, but did not take interest in the territory we claimed! We know the goblins serve him, but lucky for us, he doesn’t help them with our little territory war... I don’t think he cares that much..
Hef leans towards Martin and whispers back, "It'd take a lot for a goblin to be outcast... maybe he took a bath?"
After mulling over the question from Renny he pipes in, "An ambush may be the trick, especially if our friends can help us with location. They've been here for years and may be able to recommend a proper site. The problem rises from Goblin cowardice. They're likely to run for reinforcements, which means trouble for us and numbers for them. We'd have to make sure they were cut of from return."
Yusdrayl leans forward and stares at you in the eyes:
Belak is human just like you! Older perhaps, hard to say with you mammalian types..
Meepo will take you to their territory, but they seldom leave, maybe twice a year... and there are other exits to this Citadel, who knows when or where they will go next!
Renny briefly runs a finger across the small scales on the side of her neck at the comment. After a moment she turns to the others, "He could be a wizard, alchemist.. or just.. mad. Or all of the above. Or something else."

Spotty nods a bit... he figures they know enough now, though there's still one thing he is wondering. "What's that key for?" he says, gesturing to the key in the "mouth" of Yusdrayl's throne.
You can tell Zak is getting more uneasy. He starts pacing a bit. He is confused by all of this baby dragon/Kobold cesspool action and starts to think back about Oakhurst and why the constable asked us to come here in the first place. That was to be his new home after all and he didn't want to disappoint her. Then he remembers the children...
Zak blurts out (speaking directly to his comrades and not at all to the Kobolds, like they are not even there)"Do you guys think this Belak person is the one who is responsible for the cows?"
Then walks directly in front of Queen Yusdrayl, looks down on her in the eyes and says "and have YOU seen any human children down here recently?"
"Sounds good to me Hef. We'll need to keep an eye out for bolt-holes and the like, particularly ones that are too small for most of us to follow through."
Gwenant then nods to Zak, "I was thinking the same thing, if he is some kind of wizard or alchemist then it would certainly explain those strange plant creatures we ran into on our way here..." Her eyes widen when he asks his question of Queen Yusdrayl, and she steps forward with him. "That's right! Have other tall-folk been seen in these parts? There should be four others besides Belak; there was a warrior, a wizard, a ranger, and a paladin, and they would have all been travelling together."
Aaah.. you’re interested in the key.. this key opens...
Yusdrayl gets interrupted suddenly by the approaching Zak. Her guards flinch, and are ready to bounce between the half-orc and their queen, but she holds a finger up, and they stay put. She stands up, on her throne, and looks Zak in the eye:
Humans? Perhaps. Children? No. The last group that came through here, they sought no confrontation with us, they went into Goblin territory even though we told them it was dangerous... haven’t seen them since.
