I thought the forest map looked something like this (turned on the side) but on a 13 x 23 grid. There is no ambiguity on where you are and every hex has the same movement cost (outside of terrain). No keeping track of when you moved diagonal or not.

Though seeing as others hadn't or on the off chance left the the thread. -.- With that potential complication in mind, feel free to take it to the glory thread. Keep in mind that if changes well received, but before full implementation the others map updates with clear markers. And if possible, tweaked for visibility by phone users.)
