Witnessing the quick departure of Nobody, upon picking up his ordered herbs and brief warning for their help being needed at the Town Hall, Ree'lyn bows to the elf priestess, reach out to her giving it a soft kiss. With a fast move leaning to her, the Drow warlock whispers. - "As promised, we are about to clean this city. I mean to infiltrate the Redbrand, now that we have had a taste of their threat. Their bodies were buried up the road, into the woods. I need information. On the manor, the Glasstaff and the Black Spider. The changes to the city are imminent." - his reddish lilac eyes gleam with pride and a smile crosses his face.
Zurzg, with his back to the exchange (OOC - I keep getting visions of a DnD version of Reservoir Dogs), squats on the floor, watching the bird's nest with great interest. If he were a cat, his tail would be swishing back and forth frantically.

old school:
Margret your „slap“ did hit him to hard and Kai needs to use a berry to treat him.
The Redbrand looks nervously from Margret to Kai. Blood stoped trickling from a now magically closed wound on his head. He is wetting his lips before he starts to speak: „Look girls, i know you think you are strong, because you got lucky and surprised a handfull of us. But listen to me, it is hopeless. Other people tried that before you, but now they are either dead or locked up in the manor. We even got undead guarding our prisoners, what chance do you think you stand?“

The priestess is a bit surprised for a short moment by your gesture. She looks at you, then at Hazel and Ostran: “I already told your friends what i know, like two months ago, those thugs started to appear here in Phandalin. I suspect they have their base in the cellar of the Tresandar Manor, thats the ruined big building on the hill east of here. Their leader is a man called Glasstaff. Unfortunatly i don‘t know much about him, he seams to avoid me. From what i could gather from other people, it appears to me as if he is talented in the arcane arts. Once he talked with people they seam to be more inclined to forgive whatever those other bandits did. I suspect he is useing some kind of charming spell. As for that last name, Black Spider, was it? I hear it the first time. If we have some more time later, maybe you can share the details of what you know with me. But i think your horned friend needs your help...“
While you were listening to Sister Garaele, Ostran and Hazel got up from their seats, they wait for you to take the lead.

Kai frowns, starting to get annoyed at this Redbrands attitude. "Firstly... Unlike you and your clan... We have powers... Are not humans... And have taken down a whole goblin ambush group. On top of that, your pathetic excuse of an ambush did not show you or your group to be that strong. In all honesty, it was easier to fight you than the goblins. And that says a lot now doesn't it? So no... I don't think we're strong. I KNOW we're strong. And... we have you. You will tell us everything we want to know about your headquarters, your group, your defenses. Anything we ask. And believe me... It will be much easier if you just cooperate."

Dope. Just as trash 😅 Threats are not Kai's thing.
He tries to grin at you, but you can see that he is uneasy. “So you beat up a handfull of goblins, big deal. A group of farmers can do as much. Do you know what a bugbear is? Glasstaf got several of them guarding his study. And he controlls this weirded eye monster. I am really trying to help you here love.“
A subtle but gracious now and a fine gesture of his left hand announce Ree'lyn's departure. - "Try and find a way to get in the manor unnoticed. My partners and I will need an inconspicuous route. I will lead these two to the place where the second survivor thug is being interrogated." - with that, the Drow leaves the inn, to the abandoned school, and motions to his companions to follow.
Kai frowns and kneels closer to the redbrand. "Actually... Love... We HAVE seen a bugbear. And we killed him. Quite easily. So if you could refrain from being condescending, I think that would be for the best. I dont want to have to hurt you. But you're really getting on my nerves."
It's obvious the redbrand is getting to her as she grabs her dagger from her belt.
"Margaret? Zurzg? Do you have any specific questions our friend needs to answer?" She looks to the redbrand, "Other than my previous questions about your infrastructure, numbers, and any other defenses other than the bugbears and the eye monster."

Zurzg, annoyed that his bird-watching has been interrupted, turns and gives a half-hearted hiss towards everyone in the room, and goes back to watching the nest.
The Redbrand is visibly unsettled by the realisation that the little person is a Goblin: „...Ok,Ok, i get it. The Manor itself is mostly in ruins, only the kennels with the dogs are up there. But on the east side is a staircase, that leads into the basement. You will enter into a room with a cistern. You will see two doors, the one north leads you to the prison cells and the armory, but those rooms are guarded by undead knights.
The second door ,next to the cistern, leads to a barrack, but that one is only a distraction. The real hideout is behind a hidden door on the other side of the pool. But i would advise you not to go there, because that is where the monster and the bugbears are.
Margret, Marco returns to you and you wonder why. You can hear someone approach from upstairs. Zurzg quickly hides in a dark corner, while you take cover behind the door.
Stonehill Inn:
Ree‘lyn, when you leave the inn with the other two, you spot a familiar bat flapping in the sky near Barthens Provisions. After a short discussion with Hazel and Ostran, you decide to split. You will follow the bat to find Margret, while Hazel and Ostran go and help Sildar and Nobody.
Once you get closer to Barthens shop, the bat swoops down in front of you to catch your attention before he flies northward to the outskirts of the village. You see it enter a big ruined building. The roof is missing, some walls are falling and bushes are overgrowing the rubble . Being sure that it is Marco, you follow it. Once you are inside, you loose eye contact of the bat, but you can hear people talk in the basement so you make your way down there.
You see a faint glow of light in one of the rooms to your right. A male is talking in there.
Margret had readied her sword for whomever came in but with Marcos reassurance she sheaves it and with a hopeful guess walks over sits in plain site against the wall.
Ree‘lyn, you carefully approach the half opened door. You hear a muffled knock and hear something falling over. After a moment you hear a loud familiar voice:
Mal follows Ree'lyn and Nobody. He is curious if the disappearance of Albrek is also related to the current situation of the town. A member of the Lord Alliance going missing is always a cause for concern. He is also curious as to what seems to be driving Ree'lyn in eliminating this Red Brand threat. For most of the party, they have just happened upon this town doing a supposedly simple delivery job. Margaret also seems to have been passing through. Ree'lyn seems more invested in this town than the rest. Who really knows what the Drow think.
Mal has a feeling that this morning's encounter is just a prelude to something more.
"Very good work." - Ree'lyn says approaching the group. - "Has he disclosed the information we are looking for?" - walking slowly, almost casually as he unfolds his arms, the Drow look for the signs of violence and the general predisposition of the thug.

"I want to know how to get in to the manor without going though the front entrance."
she levels her sword at the thug
"Answer us! Your survival will depend on us surviving, cur! No one will know where you are, or at best we will leave Zurzg"
She reaches over to pull Zurzgs hood off.

"Oh, its you..."
Then she tilts her head in askance ,
"Do you have paper? and something to write with? So I can write What Me, Kai Moss and Zurzg found out."
Looking towards the stairs
'Where are the others?"
Her hands on her hips she sniffs the air
"Enjoying their selves at the Inn?"
She gestures toward the Thug.
"Is there someplace we can keep this Arse? I want Go to the Stonehill get an Ale and rest."
