Lovariel creeps to the water's edge, even wading in a bit to get a look at the Western passage. The two escarpments are littered with rocky debris. Traversing them will definitely be slow going. The ledge between the two sloping escarpments is clear of debris, but very narrow, with a crumbling edge. Lovariel guesses that the ledge had been much larger, but that it had collapsed and contributed to much of the rubble on the lower slope.
Loraviel signals to the group with her palm up asking them to wait up, then uses two fingers to point at her eyes, then at the passage. She will check if she would be able to go to the other side of the passage.

The western passage looks tricky. The rugged terrain would slow a party down, particularly a party trying to remain unnoticed. Lovariel is unsure how reliable the narrow ledge between the two inclines is. Peering closer, Lovariel can see that the passage appears to widen past the second incline, as if opening into a chamber like the kennel. It is difficult to hear above the running water echoing in the caverns, but Lovariel thinks she hears the barest trace of a humanoid laugh.
Loraviel goes back to the party without making any sound. So silently that the first companion she meet, is slightly startled. In a hushed voice she says "Sorry" to the first person, then addresses the party. "It is not advisable to go through the western passage. We should keep going up deeper into the cave."
(OCC: I am going to wait now for the party to decide how to proceed.)

Loraviel is able to hide behind a stalagmite about 5 feet from the area directly below the bridge.
Loraviel can spot two possible ways to get to the East end of the bridge. She can continue under the bridge, following the ascending path. Loraviel can see that the path indeed keeps ascending as it loops around before joining the Upper Passage to the East of the bridge. Loraviel can now see another wide chamber that branches off the Eastern section of the Upper Passage. Loraviel can't tell if the chamber is occupied but surmises that there is adequate cover in the form of stalagmites along the edge of the Upper Passage so that she could avoid detection by the sentry on the bridge and inhabitants of the chamber on the Eastern passage if she were to move stealthily.
Loraviel also notes that walls of the cavern near the bridge have ample handholds and footholds, but that the walls are slick with moisture and algae from the stream. It appears to Loraviel that climbing the cavern walls would be more difficult than it would have been to climb the abandoned chimney in the Kennel.
Looking closer at the bridge above, she can see that the rickety wood planks are secured by ropes that are frayed in several areas, including the terminus points on each side of the bridge. It would not take much to send the bridge down. Of course, Loraviel notes, destroying the bridge would leave the treacherous Western passage as the only means to get to or from the chamber on the West side of the stream

Loraviel reaches into a pocket in her pants and grabs out of it three pebbles. Keeping the pebbles under cloak, she casts Magic Stone, and the pebbles glow faintly with Nature's force. She loads one of the pebbles into her sling "Goddess please guide my hands true" and fires at the Goblin on top of the rickety bridge.

Loraviel sees that her pebble hits the target, but it does not down it. She steels her nerves, aims again with her sling, and downs the target this time. She breaths in relief. She motions to the rest of the party that the sentry is down.

From her hiding spot, Lovariel looks into the cavern off the Eastern section of the Upper Passage.
This cavern is half filled with two large pools of water. A narrow waterfall high in the eastern wall feeds the pool, which drains out the western end of the chamber to form the stream that flows out of the cave mouth below. Low fieldstone walls serve as dams holding the water in. A wide exit stands to the south, while two smaller passages lead west. The sound of the waterfall echoes through the cavern, making it difficult to hear. Three Goblins are in the cavern, tending to the two pools. None have noticed Lovariel.
Surge follows Loraviel at a distance and assumes she sees more enemies when she stops behind cover. He looks at her and draws his sword just by an inch or to to indicate that he is ready, giving her a nod.
Loraviel grabs three pebbles from her pocket and charges them with Magic Stone (using Bonus Action), then casts Entangle on the Goblins (1 & 2) to the north of the wide exit. (Entangling the two spaces where the Goblins are and two south of them).
After that, Pardo rushes to the square west of Goblin 2 and hit it with his longsword. (Attack: 10 Damage: 5)
(PS. Going to call from right to left Goblins 1-3, Goblins 1 and 2 are together).

All three Goblins are shocked as vines shoot up from the rocky cave and begin grasping at their legs. Goblins 1 and 2 try to extricate themselves to no avail. After a Herculean effort, however, Goblin 3 frees himself and is just able to flee over the difficult terrain and escape through the large exit at the south of the cave. Shouting, alarmingly, the Goblin disappears.
Loraviel tries to stealthily check out the western passage. To see if it is possible to go that way.
