"I did not presume we will be picked up as soon as we send signal, but the necessary talk probably better be hold before we signal. And you are right about funeral, of course. As of your sudden marriage,"- Laievis could not help but smile a little - fey sure are playful - "I am afraid it would not disappear even in Three Peaks."
Whit this reassuring words Laievis went to the group of rescued dwarves. "Good morning dear friends, hope you are feeling a bit better now as do we. I apologize for abruptness but there are matters to discuss that need our attention".
In brief and precise speech he explained about ruined town, found - and not yet burred - remains, and the ability for the party to transport everyone willing to Three Peaks.
"Laievis, if you like I could start the flare as you begin tending to the remains. As you said, it would indeed take some time for help to arrive. And while we wait we could have our discussion and leave the Dwarves some privacy as they mourn their departed. I apologize if I seem to be rushing everyone again. After...well, everything, I merely wish to be helpful, and I cannot think of anything else to do. I do not know about the others, but I do know how to use a flare, if needed. Or if I could help in whatever ritual you might have in mind for the remains, I could try to help with that as well."
"Dwarves indeed might need some console after all that happened and your help with it is invaluable, of course. But here take it please,"Laievis gave the flare to Saerrira, "the the judge of the timing for sending the signal".

"I think we should help the Dwarves with the remains and then I will signal with the flare, and then the Dwarves have their moment to mourn and we have our moment to talk things over."
Saerirra places the flare into her bag for now.
"I do not know of any ritual specifically for sending the dead off peacefully. When we buried my parents, it was a simple affair. My Grandparents and I had buried them ourselves and spent a good amount of time mourning at their graves. But nothing special in terms of ceremony. Just simply a loving family."
Saerirra begins to smile a little as well as a tear begin sliding down her cheek, which she quickly wipes away.
"Ah, forgive me. I did not mean to get caught up in my emotions."
Peshley walks over to Pony to check on her and make sure she is ok. She takes a moment to study the small horn that now protrudes from Pony's head. After riding a glowing pony, this doesn't surprise her too much. As the others start to talk about sending off the flare and signalling for assistance, she heads back to the group. "Do we need to do anything with this gate? I would hate for us to leave, only to have to turn right around and deal with a new wave of whatever came out of that pit."

"I agree we need to shut this gate, but I'm not sure how. If anyone can cast it, we could try a simple Dispel Magic spell. Though it would not be surprising if that weren't enough."
The Dispel Magic spell isn't enough to close a Fey Crossing...
The Pixie sees Cade and everyone else's expression of surprise, and says:
"Oh, yes...I always forget, non-Fey creatures tend to forget what happens in the Fey Wild...well, first off, my name is Ellethy! I apologize, I had only made breakfast for my sweetheart husband, but I guess I can make some for his friends as well!"
She sees Cade's confusion, and her facial expression shifts to a sadder look...
"...Do you...not remember anything? The great Hyram Himself appeared, to close that hole in the Abyss. He summoned all of us, to channel the power of Creation. The Elders of my Tribe once told me I would marry a great Hero from the Material Plane, and when I saw you, Cade, Champion of Hyram...I knew deep inside my heart that you would be the One...I offered you a ceremonial cup of wine, which we both drank out of...I thought you understood what it meant. Hyram Himself blessed our Union...Do you... not want me as your wife?"
Tears slowly trickle down her tiny cheeks...
The Dwarven Villagers slowly wake up, also dazed and confused. They do not remember much from the Fey Wild, but they definitely remember the horrors of the Gnoll raid, and the loss of their friends and family. Laeivis's ritual helps ease their suffering a bit.
One of the adults speaks out finally...
"We had lost all hope to survive this ordeal...I still cannot believe how cruel these monsters were. Most of us here have lost parents, siblings, wives, husbands, children...we owe you all our lives. Turniptown is completely destroyed now, and I fear this area might not be safe anymore. We shall go to the City of the Three Peaks, and make a new life for ourselves. A safer life, with thick City Walls between us and whatever Evil is lurking in the Region. This small hammer belonged to my brother. Him and his family were taken first...they died trying to protect the rest of us. Therefore I shall use this hammer to build a new house for us in the City..."
You light the flare, and a bright red plume of fireworks shoots high into the sky, exploding loudly into the clear Mountain Sky...
A few minutes go by, during which you wander if the flare was of any use....
OOC: I had made a post kind of addressing the Pixie but I will delete that one and update it to include what the DM made.
Cade - After Laievis and Saerirra left to talk to the dwarves Cade hears what Ellethy says and he sees that she is upset so Cade says to the pixie, "Ellethy right? I...um...guess I haven't been a very good husband. Though to be fair, I have only recently known that I was in fact one and therefore haven't had any practice at it.", After he says this he hears a sound, "WOOF!", and turning towards the sound he sees Baron come bounding up and practically knocks him down when he gets close clearly being excited about something. Cade says, "Okay boy! Ha! I'm glad to see you too!", He picks himself back up and looks at the pixie and says, "Have you met Baron yet?," Not knowing anything else to say regarding the marriage Cade will say, "I will admit that I am woefully ignorant of the Feywild and if you wouldn't mind giving my friends and I some insight over breakfast about it I am sure it would be appreciated." Not wanting to be rude he also says to her, "If you want I can help make more of that delicious looking breakfast...perhaps you could show me how you made it?"
Saerirra stands off away from everyone so the smoke from the flare does not float to anyone's face, having expected to sit there for several minutes if not longer, waiting for the flare's smoke to be seen and responded to. She listens in on the conversation between the new couple. She will hold up the flare til either help arrives or the flare dies out.
If the flare runs out before help arrives Saerirra will have a bit of the breakfast Elethy prepared if it's offered to the group.
"Excuse me, Miss Elethy. Ah.....I'm almost afraid to ask. Do you happen to remember everything I did?"
Ellethy turns to Saerrira, wiping a few tears from her face. She smiles again. "Well, you..."
She is suddenly interrupted by a loud "CAAAAAW!" coming from the sky. As you look up, you see 5 Giant Eagles converging towards your destination. Each of them is carries a rider, with banners of the Alliance. As they land in the clearing by the Tree, you notice that all the riders are of different races. Their Leader is a High Elf, wearing Silver Half Plate, and carrying a halbeard. He is followed by two Humans, a Forest Gnome, a Half-Orc and a Tiefling, all wearing similar outfits (although less decorated)
As the dismount, the Leader approaches the group. The look on his face is one of concern, and apprehension...
"I am Seleth Byllian, Leader of the 15th Squadron, Alliance Airforce. What is going on here? "
Saerirra turns to the Alliance soldiers, smiles and goves a brief but polite bow.
"Hello, Sir Byllian. My name is Saerirra. We were sent by General Maeke to Turniptown. We found it as you have likely seen already, coming from above as you have. It was decimated by a group of Gnolls who had captured some of its citizens for a ritual to create more Gnolls. Our pursuit of them led us to the Feywild. We managed to fend them off, but now have no means of getting them to Three Peaks. We only have a small number of horses and no carriage of any sort. And they are in no condition for the multi-day hike to Three Peaks. We ask your aid in getting them safely to town. We could make the way back on our horses if that need be."
"Elen síla lúmenn' omentielvo" Laievis also greeted the Alliance leader. "Laievis Elreth. As Saerrira mentioned, we finished our task here. Though there might be one more problem - gnolls were coming from the Fey plan and the portal might still be open, which is unfortunate. Do you have any means to close such things?"
All the while Uther's smile still stuck to his face as he watches Saerirra walk around camp and talk to their companions. He then walks over to Cade who is trying to formulate words with his new wife "congratulations are in order Mr. Overhill and Mrs. Overhill." he says as he pats Cade on the back.
A short while after Saerirra lights the flare, as he waits he thinks to himself ' where did Zathka disappear to?'. When the 5 figures arrived upon giant eagles. Uther joins the group talking to them. He then walks up to one of the eagles and attempts to pet it, "what fine creatures. "

The Pixie smiles..."Thank you Uther! Wow, Mrs Ellethy Overhill...I love it!" She flies up and lands on Cade's shoulder.
As Uther pet's the Eagle, its Half-Orc rider stares at him intensely, and his eyes widen...
"Uther...B'or? Son of Lothar B'or of Dastarus?"
He kneels to Uther
"My Lord, it is an honor! I cannot believe it is you! My name is Grohlak P'ar, youngest son of Throlack P'ar (one of Uther's father's most loyal Orc Chieftains from Gur Thak). I left Dastarus shortly after you did, to join the Alliance and fight for Talaveroth like you! My father took example of yours, and sent me to the East, to combat the Red Dragon Threat. May the Sons of Pelios etch both our names into History forever!"
Seleth Byllian looks at him, with a look of deep exasperation.
"Rider P'ar, please get a hold of yourself and stop acting like a little Fanboy. You are an Eagle Rider of the Alliance. We need to take these injured civilians back to the City at once, and report what we have found here today." He then turns to Saerrira and Laeivis.
"This is indeed a Fey Crossing...a place where the FeyWild and the Material Plane coexist. Short of a Wish Spell, there is no way to close it. However, it troubles me that Gnolls were in there. They are not native of the Fey Wild. And we have heard reports of Gnoll attacks in Oakfields, as well as the disappearance of Sir Laas Dauntley near the Crossroads. He looks at the Eagles.
"This will be a bit cramped, but we should be able to fit everyone. All right, everybody saddle up! Admiral Felaminathien and his men are currently lodging at this new Inn on the lower Bridge of the City..."
One of the Human riders speaks.
"You mean the one with the Giant Chicken legs?"
"Yes..."
The Forest Gnome Rider gets excited.
"Oh, the Hanging Chicken! I love that place, Sir! They have this amazing balcony, and homemade Moonshine, and..."
"That's enough, Rider! For Norian's sake, can ANY of you act like Soldiers, and not drunken tourists? Now let's ride, we do not have all day!"
The Riders all answer at once, and salute him.
"YES SQUADRON LEADER!"
They all climb back on top of their Eagles, helping the Villagers and Characters. Everyone fits, with about 3 to 4 people on each Eagle, holding on to each other tight.
2 to 3 passengers can fit on each Eagle. Who is riding with who?
Cade - Looking at the giant eagles and their riders he stops and looks back at the pixie...Ellethy. He doesn't know her, but if he is going to be married to her he needs time to get to know her. He says to the group, "If y'all don't mind I would like to travel back to the tavern with Ellethy and Baron. I understand that this means we will be delayed when in getting there, but this is what I feel I must do."
OOC: It's only a day and a half journey back. I would be inclined to ride.
Peshley grabs Pony by the reins and walks over toward the others. Quietly, so the Alliance members can't hear, she says, "I'm not so sure I need to fly. I mean, there's not that much room, and it's not that far to the city. And Pony in those great talons?
