Ignoring the nickname and blatant racial favoritism that seems ever so rampant in Gunnar’s field nowadays, “Sounds like an accord then.” He keeps his gaze on the dwarf, while emptying 8 gold pieces from his pouch into his hand, which he then holds out to Ravi, “Ravi, four droplets please. If you’d like, I would be happy to help.” He looks down to Ravi and grins a big bearded smile, “Though I think the quality of the droplets may lower the value of every other droplet in the market. Wouldn’t you agree?”

"This one does not understand the significance of the shape of the currency. It is still just as useless, no?"
The lizardfolk places down 10 old, slightly tarnished coins.
Gunnar gives a glance to the... well, look at that, a giant lizard, and replies, “I wouldn’t say that it’s useless. Gold is good for all kinds of things. More importantly, gold doesn’t change. No rust, no degradation, and, above all else,” He flips a coin and catches it, holding it between his thumb and his pointer, “It’s pretty. Therefore, it’s the ideal trade item.”

Ravi gestures to the molds, but addresses the dwarf, "With your blessing, bror? I am Saperavi, and my... my companion here is Gunnar. I'm sure he can manage this without burning down your smithy- or putting your other works to shame."
The dwarf chuckles at the lizardfolk's comment, then turns to Tovar and the young one. "Useless, Cycle? Surely you wouldn't agree with that, Master Shanka?"
"Lizard of Cycle has point. Yet, misses point. As master forger says, 'gold is gold.' Gold is value, value for trade, and trade for gold. All in cycle. You see? But I am afraid I may need another to forge mine - I have no skill in such things. Master Ravi, perhaps...?"
The dwarf brushes off some soot from his chest and face and puts on a leather vest. "Sure, bror, sure. Gunnar seems to be an apt craftsman. I'll just go to the neighbours and get some cured goat, you're in charge while i'm gone, Saperavi." He exits the smithy, but peeks back in through the door a two seconds later. "If anyone walks in while i'm gone say that Emberstubs will be back in a few minutes."
Ruby slides her hand into her overcoat and brings out a small purse containing 10 gold coins, acquired during her last night on the mainland. "Five droplets for me, Mister Ravi please."
With the help of Gunnar, Ravi manages to melt down each batch in separate crucibles they found at the middle forge. Right as you pour the last drop of gold into the last mold Emberstubs walks back in a goat leg in his left hand and a wineskin in the other. "I see you've not burnt the place down. Why don't you two write your names at the at the dotted line while we wait for the gold to cool." He relocates the papers from before his lunch break and hands one to each of the aspiring master smiths. "If you can't write thats fine. Just do some swirlies with the quill, we ain't that formal."

Ravi peers at the form. "And this grants me the right to practice my trade under the conditions you've described. Am I required to submit a regular minimum fee for the right to this license? If I work too little or make no money, can I expect my tools and my thumbs to be broken in the night?" Ravi, for once, isn't smiling. Dwarves are his brethren, but they're a hard folk.
Emberstubs chuckles and takes a big swig from his wineskin. "Nah, you can hammer and bang all you want. Money comes our way either way so paying to be smith won't be necessary, but if you start selling we will require a droplet for every twenty you make as I said earlier. Fumus is the most relaxed out of the Fingers and isn't all about the money. Great boss, really. I think he just wants money to fund his own work and thats it." He walks over to the forge, tosses the wineskin and goat leg on the worktable and starts stoking the fires a little. "I really have to get back to work. Iron doesn't forge itself. Anything else I can help you all with?"

Emberstubs chuckles and pats his belly . "You mean the cats place? When you get out follow the cleared road to the right and it will be on your right hand side after a while. They've got some pretty tasty fish over there, though I prefer real meats myself."

You follow the directions Emberstubs gave you down the street to the left. On the way there you pass mostly humans, but every now and then a dwarf, elf, gnome or another race. The party also passes a group of what looks to be mercenaries who wears a pin shaped like a pair of blue wings on the front of slate grey cloaks. They only eye you as you pass and go back to chatting unless. After walking for 10 minutes or so you reach a large wooden house among the stone ruins and haphazard huts of rubble and driftwood. A squeaking sign hangs from two chains over a set of double doors. The sign reads "M.O.U.S.E" each of the letters are separated by skeletal head of a dead fish. From inside you can hear laughter, music and the occasional loud cheering.
As you enter the wooden building it is as if you hit a warm wall of smells. A smell of citrus and spices mixed with seafood and some thick sweetish smell you can't quite put your finger on fills the air. The room is filled with low tables and high tables, by the low ones people appear to be sitting on their knees sipping wine and drinking beer while by the taller tables there are stools and people eating whole fish, grilled or roasted. On the stage at the far end of the room a band is currently playing. The band consists of a fine mix between elves, half-elves and humans each of them with a tan like you've never seen before. A tiefling, apparently the leader of the band, appears to be playing some sort of string instrument. "Welcome, friends, to M.O.U.S.E" A goateed half-elf has seemingly snook up on you without a sound, or did you just get distracted by the warm oasis in this usually harsh a little cold environment? "Can I help you with something?" He gives you the most welcoming of smiles and makes sure to meet eyes with each of you.
With a broad grin, Tovar seems to ease into the atmosphere without a moment to lose. "Ah, yes, my friend. I think we are in need of meal, and perhaps further accommodations, after our minds are anchored by filled stomachs."
The half-elf nods to Tovar and takes a look over the party. "Five people and.. would the construct like some oil? We have olive oil in the back." He chuckles at his own joke and points you to one of the taller tables. "Since you are eating, do take a seat. Todays special is grilled pollack, but we also have goat meat and an excellent cooked whale with assorted vegetables. I'll let you think for a while and come back to you. We can talk about spending the night after you are good and full if you would like. Do enjoy yourselves and feel free to walk up to the bar and order a drink in the meanwhile. " He gestures to the bar and bows to you as he heads in the same direction himself, disappearing into a kitchen before coming out with several tankards and glasses that he carries to another table.
