(Gunthar) Volo "Yes Yes, Excellent. The more the merrier as I always say!"
(Kieran) Obaya "Alright, I now stand witness to Volothamp Geddarm offering you 6 a job.. Or whatever I'm meant to say, I've never done this before"
Volo Says "Well, He is quite a handsome human male in his early thirties with wavy-blond hair. He was dressed in princely garb when I last saw him. Two nights ago, before Floon disappeared, he and I were drinking and merrymaking at the Skewered Dragon, a dark, bawdy tavern in the Dock Ward. I recommend that you guys start your search there. But first, there is quite a talented sorcerer who I think might be able to help you, he should be here any minute now"
"We will bring your friend back, sir do not worry." says Gunthar to Volo, he then introduces himself to the rest of the group, "Gunthar Silverblade at your service. As soon as this sorcerer arrives I suggest that we start looking for this missing person as soon as possible."
A nimble gnome with narly hair and a neat look enters stage left. "Hello, I'm Gimble, Gimble Garrick. Volo had mentioned someone may need some help. Sorry I'm late, I had a bit of a run in with a book. Sooo, what's going on?"
Volo "Ah, here you are! Good to see you've arrived, was worried you'd forgotten. Like I said, ma' best buddy, Floon Blagmaar. Has gone missing, Got no idea where he is, if he's dead or not, but what I DO know is that you'll be getting prepaid 10 Gold and afterwards paid 10 times that" *He goes on to explain (You can read my last post for the rest)* (Just realised in one post he said 1000 gold, did the math wrong, you would get 100 gold) "Once you're all ready, you can all head out and find him"
Jonas sitting quietly listening to the exchange straightens up. "I was here hoping to find work, I don't see a reason to turn this down. Before we go dud Floon have any enemies, family, or a romantic partner, in case the tavern doesn't produce any leads?"
"I don't know about family, he's single, no enemies that I know of, he's too nice to have enemies, if the tavern doesn't produce any leads then there is someone who I think Floon knows. Lord Renaer Neverember, son of Dagult Neverember, I've seen them hanging out a few times, though I've got no idea where Renaer will be, damn royal folk always hiding stuff... Can never trust 'em"
"I might learn about Lord Renaer whereabouts from ... some people I know. But let's first visit that tavern. Though, did not you ask there already, my good wizard?"
(Hope Kieran can do it, considering his background)
"Uhh, no, I was worried people would whoever took Floon would be waiting for me. ( ͡° ʖ̯ ͡°) :/" (I'm gonna start using Lennys + Text Faces for a vague description of how NPCs sound in each sentence)
As you enter out into the gleaming summer heat you realise how dark it was in there. As you turn a corner, you find yourselves on a street that has been cordoned off by the City Watch. Lying on the cobblestones are a half-dozen corpses, seemingly the victims of some terrible skirmish. Watch officers have disarmed and arrested three blood-drenched humans and are in the midst of questioning witnesses. One of the officers sees you. “Get on,” she says. “Nothing to see here.”
(What? You ask if you can make a check and then roll incase I say yes, I ain't gonna tell you at what times you can make a perception check) Nether of them look like Renaer or Floon, no, but as you pass by you they just coldly glare at you, and you can just barely make out a Zhentarim emblem under the blood
Tall, densely packed tenements leave most of the neighborhood in shadow at ground level. Most of the streetlamps have had their glass smashed and their candles stolen, and the smells of salt air and excrement linger as you pass by rows of run-down buildings.
One nearby shop stands out from the others. It has a deep purple facade, and in its window hangs a stuffed beholder. Above the door hangs a sign whose elaborate letters spell out “Old Xoblob Shop."

"To the tavern? "
(I guess, gonna need to wait for a few other's to agree first)
"Reasonable" did not argue Kieran and stand up. "Shall we go then?"

(Where are we now and where is Skewered Dragon?)

(Walking, around halfway there)
Perception 12 do any of the victims look like Floon or Renear?
(Does Gimble notice anything particular about the bodies as he is walking by?)

"Not to look cold or something but I think the officer is right - this is rather not our business. This is not Skewered Dragon we are heading to"
