Handleader Wallus' words distract the drunken man from his staring at Janny de Maclan and he turns towards Dora. "A few months!" he exclaims, a dawning fear in his eyes.
Then he continues trying to argue the point with slurred words, "But, but, this is the only place to get a drink around here. What am I supposed to do after a hard day's work in the stockyards?"
Before Dora can answer, Zed de Maclan take a step forward and says to the man in a deep authoritative voice, "Perhaps the handleader will be more lenient if you apologise to my daughter and says you will mend your ways."
The man immediately turns towards Janny and says, "Yes, yes, I am sorry. I will never do it again, as Grod is my witness."
[OOC: Both of your characters know that Grod is the name of a Stemian deity the worship of which has just recently been outlawed in this city. However, just swearing in Grod's name is not illegal, just frowned upon by devout worshippers of Mithra.]
"Well Handleader?" asks Zed. "What do you say? There was no permanent harm done."

I look down at the farmer at my feet, "I am rather tired of any drunkard thinking they have a right to downgrade women to mere actors in their depraved fantasies and I am sure Janny agrees". I heave the drunken farmer to his feet powered by the anger and frustration of the evening. "The ban stands - two months. I know your face well so don't try me out. Take yourself home now and don't tempt me to reduce the size of your purse to cover my wasted time."
Turning to Rabal "You are staying with Master de Maclan or somewhere else?"

[OOC:
An impassioned speech, please make an Intimidation check at Advantage. Also, technically Dora left the man on the ground to approach Guilliame and so she would have to move back to him, but that isn't a big problem as that is something she can do easily.
We will deal with what follows after the above has been decided.

[Even though there should have been a +1 bonus applied to that roll (see bonus next to Intimidation skill on Dora's character sheet), that is a successful roll against the man's passive Insight skill.
I am also going to give Dora 10 experience points for dealing with the farmer so well; things might have been different if the roll hadn't succeeded.]
Handleader Wallus strides across to the man and says the first part of her message before pulling him to his feet, which he helps her do. Despite the fact he is somewhat larger and clearly stronger than Dora [OOC: By about 5 points], he quails under her glare and at the end nods meekly and says, "Yes Handleader. I will not come near the place."
Released, the man stumbles away towards his home as Dora turns towards Oswan Rabal and asks, "You are staying with Master de Maclan, or somewhere else?"
Clearly impressed by the fire in her eyes, Oswan still looks confused for a moment before replying, "Ummm... Actually Master de Maclan is staying at my parent's boarding house... I live there too."
In the brief silence that follows, Zed de Maclan starts to clap slowly. "It would appear that you have something of a reputation yourself, Handleader," he says.

"Very well! Master Rabal you can be on your way with Master de Maclan."
Nodding to de Maclan's party, I catch Guilliame's eye and gesture to the tavern "Guilliame, its time for you to get to know the Shepherd's Rest. You will recall the menu we discussed earlier, perhaps there will be an opportunity introduce some of those dishes to carousers within."
Master de Maclan bows to Dora and says, "Thank you, Handleader. We shall indeed wend our way home. The atmosphere in the Shepherd's Rest has turned away from the finer things towards drinking and tests of physical strength."
He then turns to the man at Guilliame's feet and says, "Come Oswan, it is time for you to lead us homewards... And I am sure Giles and Ash would appreciate some help carrying the gear."
[OOC: What follows presumes Guilliame does release Oswan; we can step back to here if he doesn't.]
Maclan and his group head off with Oswan in the lead heading east in the direction of North Port.
Dora and Guilliame then follow a couple of men, who had been quietly watching the recent goings-on into the Shepherd's Rest where they are met with another round of cheers and catcalls.
[OOC: The following link is to the map of the tap room of the Shepherd's Rest:taproom. Although I can embed pictures into this forum, it is tricky and in the long run it is better to use the World Anvil site for things like this.
I would like you both to make the following rolls for your characters as they take in the sights of what they find inside: a Perception check, an Area Knowledge check, and an Insight check.]

The taproom of the Shepherd's Rest has about twenty people in it; mostly male and mostly farmers and stockyard workers. To the left of the entrance is a large table around which most of the patrons are clustered. Some sort of event has just happened at this table and people are either happy with the result or not.
[OOC: Coin is being exchanged between various members of the lookers-on. However, you aren't in a position to see what is happening. The owner of the Shepherd's Rest, Bran Brock, is watching on from behind the corner of the bar.]
Area Knowledge 15
[OOC: What Zed de Maclan spoke of, and the activity you are seeing here, is new to you. The owner seems to have added something to the regular activities of this tavern. This means it has occurred in the last ten days as this is the first night Dora has been back at this guard station; the previous ten days she was stationed at the ward's Sheriff's Office.]
Insight 15
[OOC: The group around the table seem to be mainly bulky, strong-looking individuals. Fortunately, they seem to be in good general spirits and to be enjoying what is going on.]
[OOC: Dora cannot see anything happening here that are against the laws of the city.]
The place is noisy and smells of beer, human sweat and tobacco smoke.
Talking to the farmer laying happily on the ground, "I don't want to see you around this tavern for a few months, now get home and sleep it off.'
Handleader Wallus' words distract the drunken man from his staring at Janny de Maclan and he turns towards Dora. "A few months!" he exclaims, a dawning fear in his eyes.

The man looks at Guilliame and looks like he might say something but then, perhaps wisely, says nothing.
"Can I go now?" asks Osman Rabal, the man who Guilliame has his hands on.
