If the group can't seem to spot the goblin that is RIGHT THERE for goodness sake, then Tangle creates a mage hand behind the goblin, where he won't see it, but where the group can see its spectral form, and has it make a pointing figure and motion towards the goblin. Hopefully they can see that!
(if the spectral mage hand is too 'spectral' to be used in this way, then Tangle curses the goblin as a bonus action, shrugs and blasts the goblin with her blast)

What's the difference between a Wizard and a Sorcerer? Class.
(Does the fact that Tangle pointed it out to us all not mean that we can now see it, despite lower perception rolls previously? We don't need to keep making new perception rolls every time someone points to something, do we?)
Grum realises he's had time to switch back between swords and bow about 7 times whilst he's been waiting, so decides just to do it. He stows his swords, draws his bow and locates the goblin that Tangle pointed out. He trains the arrow on the goblin, takes a deep breath, and calms himself, relishing that split-second of deep calm in which the entire world seems to fade away leaving just him, the arrow and the target. His mind full of that calm, he releases the arrow.
Peran watches the entire ordeal, sweaty palm gripping the leather handle of his flail tightly. His eyes are focused on the Goblin, and as soon as he hears the soft twang of a bowstring he jogs forward as quietly as he can, do ensure the thing doesn't scream or fall loudly off the bridge. With a silent heave, he swings the head of the flail towards his target.
Mechanics:
If applicable, Stealth to remain as silent as possible on approach: 13 Edit: aw yisss... Flail vs Goblin, the blow aiming to hit the body onto the bridge, not off it: 19 Damage: 4
Diodato watches as Tangles blast follows Grum's arrow into the darkness. The blast illuminates the goblin and Diodato see finally the threat. With his bow drawn, he listens intently in case the attack brings others into the area.
((We seem to not have a DM at the moment either. Assuming we do continue, I'd be happy either way. Do you think it's manageable to continue with 4 of us? It's not like we've dropped from 4 to 3, which would be a much bigger problem. That would certainly be quicker, rather than having to wait for recruitment.

Tangle unleashes her blast as previously mentioned now that the party is attacking. Also cursing him for good measure as a bonus action.

((OK. So that happened. Do we find a replacement? or do we carry on, down one party member?))
