"Must be nice to be good with tech and not have to worry about spending cash for rent." Pierce quips at Oliver. He simply watched Misha for a moment as she played with the target practice program. Pierce never really bothered much with that. He enjoyed cyber-entertainment as much as anyone else, but fake combat never did it for him. He enjoyed having something at stake, knowing that his life was on the line. Also, despite everything Misha said about the benefits of practice, it had yet to prove profitable, and besides, Pierce was still alive, wasn't he?

Misha unhooked herself from the program and returned to meatspace. She twirled her heavy pistol, like a cowgirl, almost dropped the gun, and laughed at herself for nearly doing so. Then she noticed Oliver's creation. "Ooh! What ees thees!"Misha said, admiring the gun. "A skeetles gun!"After making sure it had no real bullets in it, she stood back, leaned forward a bit and opened wide. "Shoot a couple in here!"she dared him.
"Oooh yeah, I love payday." She mentions idly seeing another cash stack make its way into her hands, albeit a little less than what Pierce had given her, but within good reason. They all couldn't be on high alert all the time, so the free security Misha managed to provide for her and the apartment building was a huge bonus for both parties. Less rent for the lawwoman, but free protection for the building they all resided. It paid off in it's own little way.
As the others conversed a bit, the hacker took the time to calmly sip at her coffee and watch Oliver do his work on a new gun she challenged him to make. She had a thing for having him make some weird ass weapon or gadget, and she liked watching him work every now and again. In the end, both of them were entertained with the end result anyways, especially now with the candy gun complete. When Oliver called to her attention and with quick reflexes, she opened her mouth and got most of the skittles in there. She chews on the treats happily when the tech inquires her about his rent, the girl humming it over real quick.
"Yeah, yeah, you're fine. You're lucky I like ya." She laughs, giving him a quick wink before going back to sipping her coffee and watching Misha practice shooting. Half of her really wanted to hack into the program to **** with her, but the other half decided against it for now. When Pierce makes his comment, Min-ji laughs lightly. "Pierce, you know, if you're having a tough time coming up with the cash for rent you just need to tell me, yeah? Here, since you've been paying on time for a long time, I'll knock off a few hundo's for next time." Then Misha asks for a few skittles and she jumps at the gun with a quick, "Dibs!", and begins shooting a few of the tasty candies into Misha's mouth with added "Pew, pew" sound effects.

"Thanks Min-ji, you're the best. And I really do mean that, you're the actual best landlady in this city." Said Pierce with a smile that indicated how thankful he was that he lived in her apartment.
Your aim is impeccable, and the skittles go into Misha's mouth. After a quick cough because almost choking, she chews the candies and gives you a big colorful smile and a thumbs up.
But, something out of the corner of her eye outside caught her attention, and after a loud sugary gulp, proceeded to walk to the window to see what her intuition was telling her. A long time ago, she had a different set of senses, and the abilities she used to have were now nothing but a distant memory as the age of Technology progressed. It's almost like the more technology there was, the less magical she became. A coincidence, perhaps? She would never admit it to anyone, but there was a time when friends, steel, and magic won the day. But those days were so very long gone, a distant memory, foggy, like a dream nearly forgotten.
She did her best to assimilate on this world, all the while wondering whatever happened to the one she came from.
Oliver was glad that his latest creation was being used happily, "Thanks sweetheart. You're as merciful as you are cute. Misha, please don't choke yourself, as fun as it would be to give you CPR, I'd rather not." With a small smile, he swiveled off his chair, nodding to Pierce, "Yep, now I get to spend all the cash on tech. BTW, anything you want Pierce? I'm open for requests or commissions." He immediately goes back to the couch and plops down, "That is, of course, unless one of you has a job that they need help with?~"
Misha normally would have turned to Oliver and laughed up rainbowly, as she found him funny and adorable in a way, but something else was on her mind.
A black corporate car was parked downstairs across the street from the apartment complex. Now, this wouldn't be unusual, but Misha remembered seeing it there when she left for her shift early in the morning. Near the vehicle now, two private security officers in Militech uniforms were guarding a man standing in front of an easel, making measurements while operating a set of cameras mounted to each of his shoulders. Misha couldn't see what was on the easel.
Min-ji's eyebrows furrow when she sees Misha move for the window, the hacker putting down the candy gun and following behind her to get a look at what she was enraptured by. Using her eye enhancements, she tries to zoom in to get a look at the easel and what was on it.

As he attempts to peer down the window, he already begins to pull out his Pistol, calling out to Min, "Can you hack a nearby camera or their Agent's? Get a better idea what they're about?"
While those rolls are good, it's difficult to see what the executive is recording on the easel. It does, however, appear he is taking measurements of some sort of the apartment complex and it's surrounding land.
"Are you planning on selling the building, or something?"Misha asked.
To hack into the Exec's cameras to see what they're writing, we're going to follow these steps:
Your INTERFACE number (7) tells you how many NET actions you can take when you're jacked it. Jacking in is easy, you just slap on your visor, and plug the cable into your arm, or wherever your access node is. Your INTERFACE of 7 allows you to take 3 NET actions a turn. While you're jacked in, you can't take any meatspace actions but you can move to a limited degree.
1. The Password - the Exec's camera program is password protected. You'll have to spend one NET action to use BACKDOOR to bypass the password. You'll need an INTERFACE + 1d10 roll and beat a DV12 to bypass the camera security.
2. Camera Access - Once you're in, you'll need to spend another NET action to use CONTROL to gain manual control of one of the cameras, tilting it to read the easel. You'll need an INTERFACE + 1d10 roll and beat a DV of 12 to gain control of the camera.
3. I Like To Move It Move It - Then, spend your last NET action to move the camera and read the easel. This doesn't require a roll since you'd have control of the camera.
That's an example of spending three NET actions to hack and shit. Good luck!
"Like hell I am." Min-ji seethes as the mention of her selling the apartment building, moving away from the window to her room. There were few things her parents had left behind after their deaths, and this building was one of them. There was no way in Hell she was going to up and sell the damn place after she put so much work into keeping it functional. "Kombi, nan nega pil-yohae."She says as she starts to remove her clothing. "Hyusig-i kkeutnassseubnida."
When she returned to the others, she was now in her combat bodysuit that hugged and accentuated her curves. "Ilhal sigan." She says as she plugs her interface goggles at the back of her neck. "Watch my back." She told the others as she began the hack.
