@ the party, The party slowly continues towards the tower and the figures. With Gimble and Syl in the lead, Casmir and Stannic in the middle, and Thok bring up the rear. The party gets close enough to see and identify the figures. The figures are Zombies. You all can see six of them scattered about around the tower. The tower itself is in better view, and you all can see that it has seen better days. It is likely in disrepair due to the great war, but it is also likely to be falling apart due to lack of maintenance and age. Several cracks and holes have been covered or patched by materials one would use to put up a tent or other forms of shelter. So far the Zombies haven't spotted you, but you get the feeling that can change any second. The zombies are moving, incredibly slowly. They seem to be patrolling or guarding the tower. Now the party is close they can tell the terrible stench is coming from here, whether it is the zombies or the tower itself is unknown.

Whispering, Gimble says to the group, “Yeah maybe we should let this one go, they haven’t seen us yet. I don’t think we’ll ever get that smell off of us.” He goes back to pinching his nose.
Thok scratches at the phantom pain of nerve damage in his shoulder as he ponders.
"If they are patrolling, then someone or thing set them to it. Which means there's something worth guarding in there. Kite them together and I'll do my best to get them burned to a crisp before they can be too much trouble. Syl? You're the expert in defensive magics. Think you could manage to lure them to you all at once?"
"I can just walk up to them and poke them with my hammer" Casmir suggests "That usually gets people's attention" and after a pause "Never tried with dead poeple before but old habits die hard..."
Stannic wrinkles his nose, both at the odor hanging in the air and the fact that they are facing zombies. “We must release them from this curse in any case. It is a perversion of nature and the order of things. Who did this to them?” Stannic follows the others warily, ready to assist in any way he can as Casmir draws their attention.
@ everyone, (OOC: if you intend to approach the zombies and attack, give me an attack roll and initiative roll, otherwise tell me what you are doing and give an initiative roll.)

Then snarls out a guttural word in draconic, waving his staff again. A spectral claw appears near the closest zombie and attempts to strike it with it's chill touch
Casmir moves to the nearest zombie and tries to whack him with his newly magical hammer, while shouting "Over here, abominations! Come and meet Tyr's justice!"
Stannic reaches down and grabs three pebbles from the ground, enchanting them to magic stone. He targets the zombie Casmir approaches and attacks with one of the stones.
(OOC: the battle map is in the link in the spoiler) (OOC 2: The map was the best I could do, I don't have one with a tower on the edge of town, thats in a clearing of a forest. Try not to let it ruin your immersion.)

Gimble's delay completes, Gimble fires his crossbow and throws a dagger, (OOC: dealing 18 damage), Zombie 1 looks like its about to fall over dead, but it continues to stand (OOC: ??? [this is to indicate a unique ability])
Stannic's delay completes, Stannic throws one of his magic pebbles, (OOC: dealing 8 damage) Zombie 1 looks like its about to fall over dead, but it continues to stand.
Zombie 5 sees the party attacking Zombie 1 and gets into melee range of Casmir.

Zombie 6 sees Zombie 1 and 5 fighting and moves to assist. Zombie 6 dashes to melee range.

Thok sees his opportunity and moves in close enough to cast burning hands in a torrent that avoids his allies thanks to an uncanny control over the magic (evocation tradition! Woohoo!)
7 damage, half on a DC 14 dex save. I don't have to worry about avoiding allies thanks to my Sculpt Spell ability, so I'm looking to keep allies between me and them and hit as many zombies as possible
