If the group investigates those mirrors, they can determine that they’re illusions. Two just have empty shelves, but the third contains a beautiful bronze mask, looking to resemble a rather gaunt human male with a flowing beard and startling eyebrows

Minda dashes thirty feet down the corridor, and with a wild grab manages to pull a bugbear into an armlock - pulling one arm almost out of its socket, before managing to grab the other and twist it hard, holding it tight behind the bugbear’s back, driving it almost to its knees. With an immense burst of speed and pushing the shocked bugbear in front, Minda makes it nearly to the Hall of mirrors.
The bugbear is regaining his senses and starting to shout.
Maruck shakes his head but draws his shortsword and runs in, attempting to non lethally hit the Bugbear so they could perhaps question it. As he moves forward he unleashes three strikes with th blade.

Once things settle down, Minda will gladly pick up the excess gear / rations and carry them for others.

Taj is still in shock from the ambush and is rather subdued. She hugs her small arms tightly around herself and stays close to Minda.
Ruvlo takes a bronze coin, uses light on it, and throws it down the left path to be able to see farther down it. He repeats this with the right path.

Taj, angry now that the shock is wearing off, furiously lunges at the bugbear with a dagger that bursts into green flame.
