You may be adept at tracking through the woods, but the Rockseeker brothers need these supplies and we cannot abandon them in hopes of rescuing Gundren. As for these two; I think it best to bring no more than one with us to the cave. They may be submissive in small numbers, but what's to stop them from alerting the whole clan on our approach? Maybe we can even find some assistance in town. We have been traveling for days, trailing slowly behind our benefactor, and though my concern for Gundren and his companion is great, I fear we may already be too late. My loyalty is to the gold dwarves of the Shining South, and it is important to all Dwarves that new territories be settled and new forges lit. If Gundren is lost, he will not have been lost in vein. "The dwarves shall prevail, the dwarves shall endure, the dwarves shall grow!"
"Ohh..." Loraviel is clearly confused. "I thought the group was going to save the Human Warrior Sildar. I am sorry if I misunderstood. I will go where the group decides to go."
(OCC: Up to you guys. I thought we were going to go spelunking.)

"It does not matter to me if we go to the cave and save Sildar or not." Gotch says with a shrug, moving away from the goblins. "Just do not speak to me of evil and good when you have decided to walk away from saving a man who will probably not be alive when we return later." Moving back to the back of the wagon again, Gotch climbs up and opens his spell book, leaving it up to the others to make their mind up.

Ooc: I don't really care where we go. Mechanically a long rest is good for the party and there might be a plot point of note in town while forcing info from captured goblins seems like a shortcut. In game though, the town is just a short distance away and there are reasons to go there. Maybe a vote? I would vote town.
(OCC: The way I see Loraviel is that she values the living and doesn’t really care about material things. So Sildar would tip the scale for her. I will vote for the cave. If you guys want to do a long rest, she’s perfectly fine resting in the woods. She can go fetch dinner, while you guys setup camp. If majority decides to head to town, town it is.)

Proving that he was not actually reading his spell book, Gotch closes it again and climbs back out of the wagon. "Let's get it done then and stop wasting time." He says as he moves back over towards the other goblins. "Now, where is this cave, and what should we know about getting there?" He asks the goblins. "Do not lie to me or I think you know what will happen."

Loraviel realizes that it's not as easy as it looks to drag the dead horses off the road by herself. "Gentlemen, I have an idea regarding the wagon. First, however, I need some help dragging these dead horses into the forest. I hope that this works..." The party helps the Wood Elf Druid with the task. After that's done, Loraviel sits on the ground with legs crossed and meditates (for 10 mins) and ritual casts Speak with Animals. Silently she prays. “Goddess Mielikki, please forgive for what I am about to do.” After the meditation is done, she stands up and starts to make loud guttural sounds towards where the bodies where left. When the animals have finished and cleared out, Kharnyl goes over to look at the saddles and carries them over to the wagon, tossing them in with rhe rest of the supplies. "Gundren paid us to get his supplies to Phandalin, if we do find him alive, hell thank us when he finds we were at least able to salvage his saddle". Looking to the looted bags, he picks them up with similar intention, but pauses when he sees the empty map case. He hold it at various angles, inspecting it's craftsmanship, ostensibly to evaluate it's quality, but noticing other details if there are any.
"Before we head out..." Gotch says, moving to the goblins. He takes time to make lots of gestures and say lots of magic-sounding words as he casts prestidigitation multiple times. First he makes a shower of sparks appear around each of the goblins, then changes their clothing to a bright orange in color. "Now, if you try to betray us my magic will devour you." Gotch informs the goblins with a nod of his head. "Plus the orange will make you very hard to hide in the forest... I would not advise it."
