Twiglet describes what he found in the cave to Ro and the others in vocal speak (?). "I know how to deal with guard dogs, but I don't think it will work on wolves...and I don't have any sleepy-dog herbs on me"
"You're all planning on going in there, aren't you? Why?" asks Twiglet
[I ok. I kill two lookouts before they see me, and the last one drop his sword and run. I think we should no fight goblins in cave where they have traps - much safer if we make them leave and then ambush. Maybe we block the exit and release wolves inside? There probably escape tunnel somewhere and we can ambush goblins there.]
Ro's face falls in response to Twiglet's remark and she struggles to maintain eye contact when she replies.
[No. Goblins is no like you. You feel pain after killing but we is feeling nothing. Fear a day you no feel pain after killing, because that day you become like us. One time we was goblins with no killing but that time gone now. I tell you this story later maybe when we no in danger.]
"Let's get the order of march and let's get in. Who can see well in the dark and can detect traps, get at the front. I'm happy to close the march to cover our 6"
[Wolves eat anything if they hungry, but no if they is trained. We close the cave and cut chains from outside maybe. Or we go around. We should no kill the wolves if there is no need.]
As the rest of the party starts to form into a marching order Ro inserts herself at the front of the line, swords at the ready.
Twiglet is terrified. Defending yourself from bandits is one thing, but marching into a cave, looking for a battle, is completely unlike anything he’s done before.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ro gives the goblin a long stare while she thinks about what to do. Then without a response she stalks off towards the lookout post. A few moments later she reappears through the underbrush, dragging one of the dead goblins towards the mouth of the cave. She pauses to look through its pockets (Perception 22) and then drags the body the rest of the way into the cave and disappears through the opening. A few seconds later she returns from the cave mouth and proceeds to repeat the process with the other two corpses. When she's done she signs briefly to Twiglet then pivots on her heel and heads back into the cave to see what's waiting beyond the area with the dogs.
Roar finds nothing in the goblins' pockets, but the wolves are now calm enough to be able to approach them. Someone skilled in handling animals could probably free them from their chains.
If you want to release them make an Animal Handling check. It isn't too difficult as they have food
XiaoLong notices Twiglet's fear and concerns. She addresses him:
"Don't worry Twiglet, we're only getting in there to find information about Gundren's brother. If we capture their leader, we might be able to interrogate him. Of course it will be dangerous and we will to defend ourselves, but there's quite a few of us and they are no match"
The main passage from the cave mouth climbs steeply upward, the stream plunging and splashing down its west side. In the shadows, a side passage leads west across the other side of the stream. In the shadows of the ceiling to the north, you can just make out the dim shape of a bridge of wood and rope crossing over the passage ahead of you. Another passage intersects this one, twenty feet above the floor. On the bridge stands a single goblin keeping watch. It doesn't spot Roar.
Seeing Twiglet approaching, Ro tunes out Tallanvor and asks Twiglet if he's ok.

[why kill them? They like me maybe. Kill boss. They leave]
but Twiglet also relays Ro’s opinion to the group

“They looked more like pets or guards than captives” suggested Twiglet about the wolves
”what makes you think they’ll run into the cave and attack the bandits?”

Ro peeks into the mouth of the cave, then returns to the party. Jerking her head towards the goblin she signs at Twiglet:
[Ask him how we get past the wolves.]

[Tell him he going to get us past the wolves or I feed him to the wolves to keep them quiet]

"We keep wolves hungry so they angry and attack things. Give food and they calm down. Please, Gobbie not foods!"

Ro sneaks up the path on the left, watching out for traps along the way. She goes just far enough to see what's up ahead.
