Gripping his staff. the boat starts to glow a bit, as he moves it away from land, giving everyone barely enough time to jump aboard.
DM:
If we both keep removing points from my staff when I cast a spell it is going to get used up very quick. I will take care of removing the charges when I cast a spell.
Killiath helps Tika and Zak climbing on the boat and then jump in too. He will steer the boat in the direction of the cave.
The young figher then looks toward his brother and says "That was an impressive display of magic, making a wall made of fire, moving this heavy boat. Those years in the Tower made you a stronger person, I am happy for your little brother."
Odin smiles. "It appears we have all grown in strength since we last saw each other." He stops at Anom's words about Haven. "Didn't think our reunion would go like this."

I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
(I didn't get it. Thought you were trying to move the boat out into the water. Switching the boat thing then.)
One after the other the companions get into the boat. At first there is no danger but once three of you are in a few arrows are sent your way. They drop into the water but are getting closer.
Mythras last shove sends the boat on his way toward the center of the lake.
For the ones in the back of the boat two arrows drop toward you. I ll let you decide and RP which does which.

Anon steer the group toward the cave he knows his hidden to the north of the lake.
The cave is large enough to accommodate all of you and you feel safe enough to have a short rest. The boat is still on the shore and needs to be hidden.
Tika, though calm, has stayed abnormally silent the whole trip clutching the staff to her all this time.
Mythrus pulled the arrow from his shoulder with a wince, " Well...I guess I am the biggest target."
" We don't need the boat again do we?"
Assuming the answer is no, Mythras will set the boat adrift on the lake with some bushes and the like in it to form confusing silhouettes from a distance.
"I think we may need the boat again, but I will heed to Anomander's opinion on this matter. He knows the way to Haven better than any of us." replies Killath as Mythras asks about the boat.
The young warrior walks near Tika and says "Are you feeling ill TIka? You have been silent all this time."
Killiath waits for Tika's reply and then follows Anomander towards the cave.
She smiles shyly, its almost out of character. "Sorry. It's a bit much to take in. I m just a simple waitress." she looks at the staff and adds to all of you.
"In a wierd way I think I was meant to have this staff. I see a nice elven maiden with blue skin when I concentrate a bit and a lot of sadness." she shakes her head. "if that makes sense."
"Haven seems like our best option for now. We may find some answers there."
As she goes back inside the cave to help set things up Mythras ranges a bit afield making sure that the place is well hidden and safe. He gathers some wood and takes some time to set up'a few tripwire alarms.
As the group settles into the cave you all feel the adrenaline flowing away and fatigue settling in.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Anomander just looks around trying to think about what would be better, he just sighs "Push it out hard and try to set it adrift going the opposite direction of Haven if possible. We should continue on foot the rest of the way. We can at least hope they didn't see our faces and won't know us if we walk by them. We will just need to be careful with that staff, its the only recognizable item." As they begin to walk he just tries to mind where he is stepping "Be careful not to leave any prints, if some has a way to hide our tracks that would be really useful."

Killiath smiles back to Tika "Do not worry Tika, the group is together now. We will take care of this matter and we will find out why the Seekers are looking for that staff." The young warrior waits a few seconds and then adds "If you say that you think you were meant to have this staff, I believe you. I wonder who is that elven maiden..."
Killiath then helps Mythras with the boat and follows Anomander trying to be careful of not leaving any tracks.
Listening to the talk of the elven maiden, Darius will mutter to himself, "Who is Cassandra?" And then start setting up his bedroll and making himself comfortable to settle in for the night.
OOC: Yeah, the 8 seater....that Mythras is utterly failing to move....luckily he has help. Can I test again to see if he can get a better grip on it?
Darius will try to use his quarterstaff as a pole to help push it away.
(Help action for someone else to roll)
"We need to get moving..." Daethys says as he stand singt he prow of hte boat. he says...
