Bell liked the corner seat for a reason; no one paid too close attention to you. So when her dark brown eyes spotted Becky approaching, knowing that ***** was going to make a move on one of them, she had already begun rolling up the straw paper between her finger tips. She didn't look the girl in the eye, but instead listened to her and the way she spoke to Misha, and when she feels the conversation was close to an end, she slips the balled up paper in her mouth and gets it nice and coated in salvia. When Becky and her group makes their way out, Bell puts the straw to her lips, aims for Becky, and blows the spitball straight into Becky's hair with ease.
Bell then turns to the group and drops the straw into her cup of water, and begins to take a long sip and waits to see if either of the trio notice.

Jason glares at the girls as they walk by and ruffles Misha's hair, "What are you doing listening to them? What have you got to worry about, you're easily the best and most badass player on the team. They're just jealous." He lightly punches her on the shoulder, "Come on, if your coach really thought that, why would he treat you so well." He casts a glance to the other two for some backup.
Joan tries to cheer up Misha after Becky and her crew make fun of her. "Hey, don't let her get you down, Misha. I'll make sure that you stay on the team next year. You've come a long way since we first met." She smiles approvingly at Bell when she shoots a spitball at Becky.

Misha's insecurities melted away. Over the music system in the restaurant, Simple Mind's "Don't You Forget About Me" played loudly, a song she liked. She smiled at all of them, saying, "Yeah. Ees seely. She ees just being beech."She looked at the menu one more time. "Ok. Misha weel hef..uhm. Burger, no tomatoes. Fries. Oh! And strawberry meelkshake, ya?" She put her menu down, as if she made a very obvious and excellent choice.
Bell hadn't at all opened the menu because there was only one thing she wanted. "I'm gonna get the biggest platter of nachos you guys have ever seen! And extra nacho cheese! Maybe a root beer, iunno, but nachos."

The food arrived about 15 minutes later. Needless to say, it was delicious. The nachos were indeed amazing. The waitress came by a few times to see if we needed anything else, and everyone ate and made jokes and laughed about good times. They talked about school, about what arcade games they wanted to play, and talked about music and movies.
By the time lunch was over, there was about an hour to spare before the movie. What would you guys like to do?
Bell had forewarned her friends prior to the nachos being served to put their portion on a seperate plate so she didn't accidentally eat it. When it was served she allowed them to take their share (Bell herself also setting a plate aside for William) before completely inhaling it like a mad lad. For the time they knew Bell, they knew she had an appetite, especially for food she loved, like nachos and corn chips, and it was always a sight seeing this petite 13 year old pack away a mountain of the stuff within 5 minutes. She finished it with a big gulp of her root beer and had a pleased smile on her face while walking out of the restaurant.
"Definitely a place we gotta come back to. Maybe I'll order two things of nachos, one for me, and one for you guys." She says as they walk with no destination in mind, feeding William the final nacho chip. "I hope you guys liked it as much as I did." When William finishes his nibbling, he scurries up the sleeve of her shirt, Bell throws the remainder of the chip in her mouth and chews. "Wanna check out the arcade?"

Joan thanked Bell for sharing her chips and ate them happily. She didn't say anything about giving them to William, since the rat always shared food with Bell and never seemed to be worse off for it, no matter how much he was given. "It was good Bell. We definitely have to come back. I don't know if we have time for the arcade though, we've got to get back in time for the movie and the line is going to be pretty long."

From across the plaza, Time Out was lit like an amusement park. The beeping and jingling of the games, they even had skee-ball. An employee walked the floor with a huge quarter dispenser attached to his waist - occasionally kids would come up to him and get change. Behind a massive counter, carnival type prizes adorned the walls.
On the other side, Pacific Theaters was forming a line for the next showing of Die Hard.
Bell stared longingly at the arcade, then to the growing line for Die Hard, and turned to everyone else after going over the choices in her head. "I don't want us to get crappy seats for the movie, so let's hang out on the waiting line for the showing. The arcade isn't gonna go anywhere."

The line to see Die Hard grew and grew. Apparently, it was a popular movie. The kids sat together and everyone was very excited, especially Misha. They just ate, so whoever wanted some more munchies went ahead and bought them. Trailers for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Born on the Fourth of July, Batman, and The Abyss were shown before the feature film. Misha didn't look away, and anytime bad words were said, or explosions exploded, or gratuitous violence was shown, it made her even happier. The say she had a good time was an understatement. When the movie was over, the kids were seen leaving the theater, talking and laughing and imitating lines from the movie. Then they froze at the entrance of the arcade. It was like a deep see abyss sea creature luring in it's next meal with it's lights.
Bell's stares wide eyed at the arcade, her mouth slightly agape in awe. "Just a few games..." She says as she slowly walks towards the establishment. "15 minutes, yeah?"

The Who's "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" was blasting and the arcade was packed. Nearly every machine had an occupant, and there were plenty of kids roaming around. It was dark, and each machine sparkled and wanted to be played. Misha went over with Jo, and they played a two player shooter game - occasionally laughing but definitely having fun. Was Misha good at video games? Eh, probably not, but she kept pace with Jo and they made good time with their quarters. Misha paid for the continuation. Halfway during the game, a couple of kids placed their coins on the glass in the corner, a clear common way of indicated they had next game. When they were done, they laughed together and talked about the game, and went to up to Bell to see how she was doing at Frogger - an older game, but still a great classic.
