"... a map and perhaps an advance so we can gear up for our important mission? We can maximize our chance of success by ensuring that we are adequately equipped for the wilds on Chult." Plaugg flashes his most convincing smile
"An instrument that makes Moonwood Elder and warriors sick? Sometimes instruments make Dorno's ears ring, too. I will go seeking for the instrument to make people feel better."
Dorno sees everyone standing with enthusiasm and does the same, saying "Dorno will go seeking too!" He bumps his head in the process however and rubs it while looking embarrassed.
Perhaps there's a sloped ceiling, rafters, a lantern or lighting fixture, or decor on the wall for him to bump? Ah well, all in good fun...
Syndra gets up and looks around the room "Wonderful, everyone seems enthused to get going, expect you, Aedan." She gestures over to the human, who has been silent since entering the room. "It's up to you now, say the word and I will teleport everyone to the town of Port Nyanzaru." She stands there patiently wanting for a response.
"Let me grab my things..." Leann says, picking up a pack, a shield, and then coming to stand by their host. "Would have packed a bit differently if I knew what was going on..." She comments. "But we can probably pick up other supplies once we are there. Anyone in particular we should get into contact with once we are in Chult?"
"Oh crap, teleporting! That ain't gonna make us sick, is it?!" Ivas said, hurriedly gathering his things and making sure his pack was all in order. "Alright.... sword, shield, little axes.... torch, rope..... wine? Nope, probably should leave that here..... okay! All ready! So how does this work, do we all need to hold hands?" he asked, secretly hoping someone would so he'd have another person to hold onto for the teleporting trip. He didn't think it was supposed to make you sick, but he'd never done teleporting before, so.....
Aedan seems momentarily lost in thought, but stirs when addressed directly. "Oh yes, sorry I'm not sure I have any clothes suitable for the climate there, but I will have to make do. Count me in."

"Alright then, I guess we're ready to go. I will give you two things before we head out, a map, and to help you gear up for the perils of the jungle, 50gp each."
She gestures to her attendant who hurries off to fetch the gold while she offers the group the map;
When her attendant returns with the gold he offers it to each member of the group in turn. When he finishes, Syndra prepares her spell and everyone in the room is enveloped with light. You feel yourself become weightless as you float in this vast empty space, the laws of reality only a suggestion. As quickly as the sensation began it vanishes as you are hurled across the realm and lurch back into reality.
You appear in a tropical city under the blazing sun. The familiar sounds of a harbor - creaking ropes, slapping waves, heavy barrels rolling across cobblestones - mingle with voices shouting an cursing in an unfamiliar language filled with clicks, inhalations, and singsongy words that make it sound almost musical. The aroma of unfamiliar spices and tropical fruit mixes with the wharf-side smells of fish, tar, and canvas.
Beyond all that, Port Nyanzaru is an explosion of colour. Buildings are painted in bright shades of blue, green, orange and salmon pink, or their walls are adorned with murals portraying giant reptiles and mythical heroes. Every building sports baskets and clay urns of colourful flowers or is draped in leafy, flowering vines. Minstrels in bright clothing adorned with feathers and shells perform on street corners. Multicoloured pennants and sun awnings flutter atop the city walls. A crowd of children dressed in feathered hats and capes races past you, squealing in delighted terror as a street performer costumed as a big-toothed lizard stomps and roars behind them. The whole city seems to be bustling, sweating, laughing, swearing and singing.
"Well, that was certainly something." Aedan remarks to the others. "Should we explore this town, or try to pick up some leads as to where we can find this thing?"

"Fifty..." Ivas whispers to himself in awe. It's more gold than he's had to his name at one time since he left home. Ivas is still hefting the bag in disbelief as the teleportation spell washes over him. He's surprised to find that the magic's effects aren't unpleasant at all, much the opposite, it kind of feels like taking a bath in light. Just as he thinks he could really get used to this, he pops back into reality, a moment which is somewhat disconcerting--he shakes his head a bit, then looks around, taking in the bustling tropical city around them. He's trying to decide which attraction to patronize first when Aedan speaks up. Right--there's a quest afoot! No time for tomfoolery, not right now!
"Well, seeing as how the lady was so kind as to give us these big ol' bags of gold, I think we should try and spend them!" Ivas says. "You know! Gear, and what not! Maybe I'll get myself a flail, those always looked pretty cool!"
"I'll go secure us a place to stay. I can usually find an inn that is willing to trade a room or two for a nightly performance. What do you think about meeting back here in 3 hours? That should give everyone enough time to go shopping. I'm going to find and inn and then go drink a tankard or two with some local rascals to see if I can dig up some scuttlebutt."
Syndra still with the group speaks up, "If you are seeking a tavern might I suggest the Thundering Lizard if you want a good time or Kaya's House of Repose, if you seek something more quiet, both can be found by the Red Bazaar, otherwise if you need me again I'll be staying at the home of the merchant prince Wakanga O'tamu. But before I go some advice, consider a guide they could be useful trekking a safe route the the jungle, get insect repellent and use it, finally take care of that map, I would not be surprised I'd there were those who would kill for such a thing.... good luck, friends." With that she and her attendant begin to head off.

"When do we leave?" Leann asks, getting to her feet.
"An instrument that makes Moonwood Elder and warriors sick? Sometimes instruments make Dorno's ears ring, too. I will go seeking for the instrument to make people feel better."
Plaugg chuckles to himself... it almost just seemed like Leann tried to get up onto feet?
Nahuatl rises from her chair in one smooth motion. “Count me in.”

Out of character — no persuasion check on possibility of gettingsome spending money from Syndra so we can gear up in Chult if necessary?
OOC: I'll get to it soon, just want to know if Nemes1s is still out there.

"we'll do our best to find the source of this scourge"
