Luna nods and silently follows alongside Kale. Not long after she positioned herself beside him, her face twisted in a grimace as she noticed a man in the rain who seemed to have gone mad. She turned her gaze questioningly towards the bard and gestured towards the man.
"You see him, right? Looks like he could be a patient. He might belong to this Asylum we've been hearing about. Should we give chase?"
(Since it seems like we're not entering combat (yet), Soveliss will keep casting the Scrying spell)
Soveliss seems focused on the crystal ball, attempting to see into it as he casts. The light fluctuating from his eyes and the orb seem like waves, twisting back and forth.
"What is it with you all and chasing down random people of that city?" Al-Ashari just looked at the direction of unfortunate victim of excessive madness. Calm Emotions centre on the madman, remove the fright.
Whitegaze will head over to the cart as well, "Anything useful in there?" You see his hands twitching a little as he tries to keep himself from reaching out to grab whatever's small on the cart.
Al-Ashari gave Whitegaze a side look and returned to sifting though stuff on cart; "Does not look like it but I am kind of jumpy now at words "know your price"". At the same time Al-Ashari's voice in Whitegaze head asked something different: "How do you feel? In this place it feels like emotions can also have consequences. Are you still angry with the well?"
(Sorry all, but the mad person, plus the man with the cart are only for Thursday. You are all still back at the auction house...)
Thursday... If you do not react to the two random events, then you are back at the auction house, but we need to do anything you wish before then, in case you do wish to do something with those two events. Let me know. I'll move things along once I get that response.
As Thursday makes her way on towards the bridge, you spot another inhabitant of the city run out of a side street. He is wearing a hospital gown and has eyes that are rolling in their sockets. The man cries out about worms in his brain as he bashes his head into a wall, then runs onward.
A bit further along Thursday comes across...
A small cart creaks down the street, laden with piles of bric-a-brac and dragged by a mule. Leading it is a wizened old man, calling out “Know the price! Name it thrice! Get your happy ending!”
Let me know if you are doing anything here...
worm eyes: if they are not dead from bashing their head into the wall Thursday will put them out of their misery with a dagger to the juggular. Then of course she will check the pockets of this person.
cart: "Hello there, I am desperately... seeking my happy ending. What must I do?"

You easily murder the mad commoner ranting about worms in his brain. He has nothing in his pockets, since he is wearing a hospital gown, lots of bare behind showing though...
for the peddler... "Ah... I have a deal for you..." The old peddler says. "Name the manner of your death and I'll make a wish for you..."
"How could I possibly know? I'm hoping I die old having given my riches to those who grew up like I did. But if I'm honest, I'll probably die here or with a sword in my throat."

"So mote it be..." The peddler says with a cackling laugh. He waves a bony hand in the air and you get the feeling you have just set something into motion. The figure's rag clothing ripples as in a wind and the rain, you just notice, does not seem to affect him at all. His clothes are dry and not a spot of rain is on his wagon. In his weezy voice he continues. "What is your wish then my pretty?"
"Soveliss," Kale calls out as his eyes scan the rain-soaked landscape. "See anything in that spell of yours yet?"
He touches Luna's elbow carefully. "What about you? I can barely make out anything in this rainfall. Any sight of her?"
She might not be a member of mine, but there's honor between thieves, Kale thinks. What happened to that woman? Sighing in frustration, he reluctantly turns to Al-Ashari. "Al-Ashari? Maybe you can sense something that our eyes can't with that heightened consciousness you seem to have about you. Is Thursday still trying to reach us?"
Though frustrated with Whitegaze's impulsive nature, Kale knows they're going to need his strong arm, especially if, as he suspects, they're going to have to travel out to try and find Thursday again. Maybe she's run into a larger pack of brains this time, he thinks to himself. "Whitegaze... you've gotten a little closer to Thursday, haven't you? Do you think we should try and find her?"
Kale looks around for the lanky Githyanki, but can't spot him in the courtyard - it seems the other warrior has retreated to the safety and dryness of the interior of the auction house. Probably a wise decision, considering that the only thing standing in the rain has accomplished so far is to get the rest of the party soaked.
Whitrgaze will glance over at Kale before returning to stare off in the rain, "I'd say no. She seems a capable sort, and with this rain and the shifting nature of the town we'd be just as likely to get lost ourselves as find her." He'll pause for a moment, then move over nearer to him, "Sorry if I startled you earlier, I had no idea the well's inhabitant could leave it. But more importantly, I don't handle the loss of crewmates very well. I won't appologize for attacking the thing, and I'd still like to, but I should respect my crewmates opinions more," he'll offer his hand to Kale, "You seem like you have a level head, so I won't object if you speak for us, for now. Just don't make my mistake and act without the crew."
"As I said, she was not in trouble and was on the way to us. Not that far, as I got it. If Soveliss can get a bit more precise direction, we might move there too". Al-Ashari did not want to return to auction house - cheating got them what they wanted, but she did not like to tempt fate needlessly. She used the time of waiting to summon the Unseen servant, then gave him a cloak of fine thick silk and now was standing under the improvised umbrella, that at least somehow protected her from the rain.
"It is done." The old man says in his wheezy voice. He cackles with laughter again. Still doing so he trundles away with his cart, leaving Thursday standing in the rain on the street.
Thursday, you see the bridge not too far ahead, maybe another block or two.

(DM, any estimate on how much longer Soveliss will need to cast his spell?)
You have been watching her for some time. Since she first saw the mad commoner, which you watched her murder with a knife across the throat...
