I am turning off the recruiting tag since we already have 6 and a few extras. I will be accepting applications in chronological order. Those of you that came in later, you will be waitlisted. I will reach out to you first if we drop below 4 active participants.
I will be setting up a campaign and sending the invite out later today.

Hello all! We had one of our players drop without warning, and I would like to keep the numbers up so I can throw some truly evil things at my players.
If you are selected to join you will wake up in the dungeon in an empty room that the party will encounter shortly. I would like to add 2 players to the party, bringing us to 7. My normal happy size is 4 - 6, but I want to have a small buffer so I am not perpetually recruiting.
This is the party we have in the dungeon currently:
The random generator really seems to like elves for some reason.
If you are interested follow the character creation instructions in the first post. Random DnD Beyond character generation. The only caveat is if you have a stat that is lower than 6 then you get to add 1d6 to that stat.
Cogema, Darth, Realistic, potatocrown - if you are still interested you are welcome to reapply. If you still have your previously generated character you can apply with them again, but if you deleted them I understand and you can make a new random creation. I will shoot you PMs to let you know that recruiting has reopened.

I can't see the details of the background on your character sheet...If you give me a run down of what the background gives you I will consider...so long as it is in line with other backgrounds I will probably allow it.

Hjaldek becoming a bard was a fate more sure than any other. From young, he had the voice of angels and the looks to accompany them. He learned quickly that he could use them to his own benefit (and mayhaps the detriment of others). However, his shenanigans more often than not got him in trouble and so he was forced into the life of a vagabond, wondering from town to town, city to city, escaping the law and collecting stories under his belt.
18 charisma and a charlatan background?? Somehow got a near perfect bard haha
Wymar was born a member of the landed gentry, his family always scheming and positioning themselves at court to work their way up to the top of halfling society. Their chance came when Wymar had just come of age. Goblins threatened to invade the peaceful lands of the halflings, and Wymar was thrust forward by his family to swear an oath of fealty to the Lord of the Lightfoots and lead his armies to victory in the Battle of Thick Pastures. Wymar was rewarded for his bravery by being granted a baronetcy, becoming the First Baronet of Wingfields.
He has used his position to be a beacon of light to the common halflings, throwing himself into works of charity and religious devotion. Secretly, however, he felt it was never enough to outgrow the shadow of his scheming family.
He now seeks to make a name for himself by deeds of valor to prove once and for all that he has earned his position by his effort alone.
Seamus has lived on his own in a tiny hut in the desert foothills of the Southern Wasteland for the last 5 years. Seamus was once a prominent figure in his society and a member of the Mages Guild. After repeated disagreements with his peers, he was exiled. Seamus fled into the wastes, never to return home
He keeps to himself and lives off the scarce resources around him. Living in the wild has put him in touch with nature and Seamus has discovered that he feels more at home out in the wilderness on his own.
But the trauma of the past comes back to haunt him. At times he finds himself harboring dark thoughts of revenge, and unable to control his actions. Last night, Seamus woke up from a nightmare and stumbled out into the wasted. After hours of wandering in the dark in a semi-conscious state, he came to, waking up on a cold damp floor of a dungeon.
Potato - They don't have a bard yet and having a half-orc in the mix when one of their primary antagonists so far has been an orc might be interesting.
You guys are both in and sitting on the sidelines. I will send you the invite for the campaign and a link to the thread to read along. I will introduce your character's at the next opportunity. Since we are about to go into combat it might be a week or so.
Hriste, Realistic - Thank you for the interest. I will reach out to you when/if we need more recruiting. You can keep this character in anticipation of that eventuality if you like, or delete it to save room and make a new one when the time comes.

Just FYI I was not aware it would pull from Homebrew and I got a homebrew background. I am happy to change this if you'd like.

Cogema - Amazon looks fine by me.
