Walton informs you that he can have a room prepared for you, if you all wanted to get something to eat and drink in the interim.

Roland looks at Walton with a burning passion in his eyes. "I asked you something earlier, professor. Do you, or do you not know of a seedy tavern that might dabble in semi-legal to shady brawls and fights? I need to expand the brand to this part of the world as soon as possible."

Alas, nowhere in town could provide anything in business. However! Around the back of town, there’s a locale that men of your persuasion tend to venture to. Nothing official, but it might be interesting.

Penny stares at Roland dumbfoundedly. "Well, I guess it's been nice knowing you, only I haven't made up my mind about that yet. When they catch you, be a good lad and try to resist the torture long enough for the rest of us to get a head start?"

Roland throws his head back in frustration. "Gods be damned, Penny. You are too afraid of the pigs, but I'll get what you're saying. I'll take your advice. For now. I've gotten a fight today after all." He looks to Walton. "You have anyone to run errands, doc? I need to get a couple of things, but as the wee girl says. Going out ain't all that great for us right now." 

The doctor can help with that. However, I will remind you all of a few things. None of you are particularly wanted criminals at this point. McHippo and Mr. Soldier were noticed specifically by the Militia (and the barman who was a fan) because you were being loud and getting into fights. As long as you’re laying low, people won’t necessarily know who you are. Furthermore, you probably have a bit longer before word gets back about the train.

OOC > Penny just doesn't think drawing attention is the way to go. She is pretty confident about her ability to go out in public, and Hippo could go, too, just so long as he stays human and doesn't cause a ruckus people will remember. She doesn't trust him to not do that, though. Deshi should go take a nap though. Is there any reason to not detail the errands and then fast forward to... well, to when we all hit 11th level with a pile of gold at our feet? :)

Roland would like to sell his old warhammer and get his hands on a disguise kit!

 "The name's Watson... Jon Watson," Ormond replies to the doctor. 

He then turns to the others, "So what's the plan? Where do we go?"

He slides next to Penny and whispers, "Try swiping the map on the way out."

“But don’t we want a copy made?” Penny whispers back.

"Map in Militia hands is bad for us... Your call," Ormond whispers. He then walks away from Penny in an effort to not draw suspicion to the whispers from the doctor or the others. 

"Oh," Penny says, frowning.

Then she goes to look at the spines of books near where the map is laying.

After some furious thinking, Penny turns to Roland. "Hey, Hippo. You know what, I'm sorry I was so mean to you. I know we can't let you go out and fight in an arena or anything, but I don't think it would hurt if you gave the people in the museum a little show. Really add something to their experience." She steps over to the office door and throws it wide open.

Roland turns to Penny with a look of slight suspicion in his eyes... which quickly dies at the mention of doing a little show. "See, I'm not stupid. I know for certain there are some mischief hidden in your words, but I can't refuse to give the people a taste of greatness." He reverts to human form and kicks down the door to the main museum. "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, shes and hes, goblins and gargoyles! I'm here to tell you about the blessings of the gold coin! Have you heard about super-cool awesome coins? I don't know exactly how they work, but I know a guy who knows a guy and he can turn into a fricking hippo! How awesome is that! Come here, and I'll tell you all about what the guy who told me heard from the guy he knew from that guy that he again knew! 

Penny turns to the Dr. "Oh, Heavens! Dr. Walton, I hope he isn't going to knock over a display or something! Someone should make sure he keeps his show contained," and she helpfully gives the Doctor a little push in the direction of the door.

Deshi looks up in alarm. "That is a TERRIBLE idea- there are antiquities in abundance out there!" Deshi snaps his claws. "But Deshi has an idea! I've been wanting to try this, actually..."

(So focused is the tortle that they didn't even notice their use of the first person singular!)
