Morgan watches Lafetha and Sim get swallowed by the giant monster, "Well, this is still going better than last time..." Then they both come out of the monster's mouth, "Much better than last time." Morgan sees Abigail trying to free the creature and runs back, "we really need to work on our communication!" and gives Abigail advantage on athletics to free the creature.

Through gritted teeth Abigail says to Morgan, "And by 'we' do you mean the crew, or yourselves? Because you certainly could stand to learn some etiquette."
I wry smile at Morgan as they attempt another go at the anchor.
'Together we have great Strength of feet' roll: 17
With Abigail and Morgan up to their thighs in water, they manage to dislodge the anchor. The beast pivots as it's tentacles dive back inside. Flipping and pushing as the beast swims away down the river at remarkable speed. A large wave crashing over the two, and others who are along the shore.
Sim and Lafetha both turn in the creatures mouth. Water rushing and crashing into their faces pushing them down into it's gullet (12 each). Sim manages to find his footing, pushing himself out of the mouth. Swimming up to the shore before pulling himself up on to it. Lafetha follows suit moments later. Abigail and Morgan, together, pull the anchor out of the beast. The creature then moves away from them, and further away from the group (120 feet underwater - 220 feet from the boat).
Mr. Firmin stops his aiming as he looks out. "Seems gone."
"The crew dead?"
Firmin shrugs a bit.
"Wilson! Did it swallow the crew then run away?" Rollo yells up to the perched sniped.
"Nah, they lived. Seem's more resilient, this lot."
Wilson slings his rifle back on his back and wings up into the air watching the beast swim away until he is sure it isn't coming back.
Landing back on the deck this time he watches the others on shore, and yells, "Don't forget the Crocs need food so, you know, might need to go kill som'thin' since you let the food go"
The crew gets back on board. Mr. Firmin giving a firm nod to them as they climb back on.
"Well, get back to work. We need the sail unfurled. Courses plotted..." his voice trails off a bit as he ushers people to their positions. Not seeming to care too much that many are tired and bloodied from the combat.
Through the next day and a half, both Mr. Firmin and Captain Wednesday say the creature looked like a small leviathan. A very small leviathan, about a third the size. But both agree that it was built all wrong. Too much fish. Not enough mouth. Not fat enough...
Leviathan
A mysterious sea creature that lives in the deep. Ranging from 60 feet to stories of larger ones being over 100 feet long; excluding any appendages it may have. Nearly every part of the creature is used; meat sold for food. Bones carved for all sorts of different building materials. Some of he ones that have been seen with extra-ordinary abilities have had organs harvested for medicines and remedies. Most important their oils and fats can be rendered down and refined. This lucrative oil, once refined, powers the rails and most other technology across the 5 Kingdoms. Wreckers are a style of warship designed to hunt leviathans. It is considered the most dangerous public profession in the world. Despite decades of attempted study, there is little knowledge outside stories told from sailors. The Coastal City of Dunnour in Salais, and The River City of Auinn in Ethuria are two of the largest and most well known refineries.
(You all do get a long rest over the next few days)
It's a rainy mid-morning, about two days since the encounter with the fish monster. The crew is all awake, those not on lookout assisting with rowing due to the lack of strong wind in the direction you need to go. Heading up river against the current. The water becoming a more thick, and bog-ish. Lots of standing water. Plants providing some cover. A thick more humid air. It's a bit of a uncharted section of water you're currently in - not directly on a map. Simple written on a note that Wednesday had from when he met Abigail and the new members of the crew.
In about an hour, you're expected to come to a small lake. From there, you'll find the outpost needed to get your cargo before heading back out.
But... sticking out from the water... is the hull of another keelboat. Nearby swamp-trees grow tall, providing coverage in the sky. The waterway is wide enough to navigate around without issue. Just will take a little bit of time.

Morgan snaps to a salute, "Captain Rollo, Sir! We should check to see what sunk the ship to see if it's still a present danger to to our vessel as well land salvaging opportunities. Permission to assemble a team and check it out, Sir!"
((Assuming he says yes))
"Excellent, I'll need an infiltration expert, StrangePride, you're in! If there are any dangerous flora or fauna I'll need a nature expert, Lafetha, you're in! Wilson! I need you on aerial support! I'll also need the best swimmer on the planet. Sim'Al'Ren, I know we're on rocky terms sense that job in Salais went south, but dammit man, I need you, now more than ever! Okay people, I want recon, Intel and a sit-rep in 15. Heads on a swivel!"
Morgan will look for any dangers perception22 if they don't see anything they make their way to the hull.
Captain Wednesday gives a nod with a say. "It's Captain Wednesday," he corrects before shaking his head. Muttering something about shape changers and their fluidity of things like names and titles.
Morgan does take a look around. The other keelboat isn't entirely vertical in the water; the stern having sunk first with the captain's cabin and possible section below deck. 20ish feet of the bow sticks out of the murky water at a 30 degree angle; balance will be key at the boarding party staying upright. The water itself is rather murky, lots of algae and grasses extending up from the bottom and giving some obscurity to what may have happened down there. A few crocodiles have their noses up along the water at varying distances, none within 60 feet though of either boat however.
Morgan does notice a few impact sites along the visible bow; as well as a no longer functioning ballista. The weapon shattered save for a few remaining chunks. Splinters of the mast stick out of the water, but the sails aren't visible in the murky water. Along the deck and parts of the hull are impact fractures; nothing blown all the way through but it may provide a way in rather than diving into the water.

Morgan casts Armor of Agathys "really hope it wasn't a newly freed fresh water Leviathan that sunk you." They hop onto the deck of the other ship, check out everything they can before going to the underwater part, looking for clues on what could have caused this. investigation15

Sim takes in the info Morgan shared and watches as she hops across to check out the above water areas. Sim dives into the water to survey the below water area of the ship.
Morgan, finding some footing, glances around the deck of the ship above the mast. Having to lean forward quite heavily to prevent simply falling into the water. The damaged wood on the deck is fairly loose. It could probably be pulled up in order to dive underneath, or smashed open.
Sim, you give into the water. The hull of the ship is entirely ruptured. Several sites showing that something struck it and blew it open. You don't see anything in the muck that could have done such a thing. That being said, the soft ground of the lake makes it easy to hide in. Swimming over to the captain's cabin, the door is locked.

Abigail rolls her eyes at Morgan. "Ya, sure. Let me get some supplies." She grabs some tools from below deck, before diving into the water after everyone else. Abigail will also swim under the ship to see what she can find in regards to what happened.
Rolling his eyes Wilson takes to the air making sure to buzz Morgan before circling the area. Ignoring the boat wreck knowing that the others are better equipped for searching it he focuses on the surrounding area trying to see if anything sticks out that could have contributed to the wreck, also ensuring the Crocs don't get closer.
Lafetha's spell washes over the group before they set out. Those above the water line; feeling a heavier amount of air in their lungs. Those that dive in, a small bit of panic as water floods into their lungs, then back out. Small bubbles escaping with each breath, but seems otherwise normal. If not a very odd sensation at first of being full of water...
Abigail, once in the water takes a look around. But unfortunately, isn't able to see much. The water itself not very clear, forcing her to find and navigate her way around. A bit following Sim, up to where the lone cabin would be. Her lockpicks sliding into the tumblers, but not unable to get them to stay in place. After several minutes of attempting, the end results fail.
From beyond the door, the sounds of banging and knocking on the ground. Something is... moving inside the locked room....
Wilson, up in the air, has a better vantage point. There is definitely motion down along the sunken hull of the ship, but it's a bit too small and obscure to make out. The crocodiles don't seem very interested, at least in the moment. Further down possibly a few miles, the low sound of... thunder?
No. It's too rapid. Cannons. It's far, least an hour travel. Could be where you're all heading.
On the next circle around, you do spot movement along the shoreline. Something small, but rustling in the wreckage's sight line. You don't quite see whatever just made the bushes shake. Just the fact something did it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Figuring the boat investigation crew will handle the water movement and the boat in general won't be moving for a while Wilson swoops in the direction of the bush movement folding his wings in a dive for speed ((dashing if it matters)).

He moves over to the wreckage by the shore and looks for anything interesting.

You look through the debris and wreckage. You find nothing but rotten wood, sharp rocks, bits of river boat, and ruined metal.
"You all coming back on board?" Captain Wednesday shouts towards the group, waving a hand. "We still got things to do!"
