You now see a woman, in a window half way up the side of the windmill facing you. She waves her arm. "A little help?" She points toward the left edge of the windmill. "Back there. Be careful."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Krov, upon hearing all this, aproaches with his greatsword drawn so he can strike, if the moment is necessary. Upon seeing the woman Krov waves his arm at her and makes a "shush" movement with his hand so the woman can stay quiet, he proceeds to sneak along side Whiskey, tho sneaking is not his best skill. He touches Whiskey in his back and nods, and sneaks right beside him.
((I should have specified she was pointing to your left, so gonna assume you meant NE))
The pounding is louder now. The back half of a large tan creature is visible. The tail is raised, thrashing back and forth. Long spikes crown the tip.
A quick flash of something, that a second later you realize are dark orangeish, leathery wings. The creature half rears to show a dark orange fur crowning a head with a huge mouth, containing rows of teeth.
Upon seeing the creature Krov imediatly stops Whiskey and puts Whiskey behind his buff body, he slowly starts going to the front of the group with his greatsword drawn. A fight was clearly about to start between him and his friends and that evil beast.
((going to sleep now, tomorrow ill be back at 15:00 Portugal time.))
Whiskey will play a quiet and soft battle melody off his pan flute and give Krov a bardic insp (1d6 that you can add to a attack role, saving throw, or skill check) and then ready his sword in both hands

Renin hangs back near the base of the hill as his companions go ahead to investigate, readying his longbow when it becomes apparent that some kind of commotion is at hand. Upon seeing the other confront the beast at the base of the windmill, he circles around the hill and crouches low, trying to hide outside the monster's line of sight.
(Mask of the Wild: You can attempt to hide even when you are only lightly obscured.)
Roscoe moves east along the wall to get a better view of the beast, and allowing Krov some time to grab it's attention, ready to start shooting arrows at the beast when they make eye contact with each other.
"Do you have any coin?" The woman loud whispers. "It talks mostly about eating, but I hear it talk of coin." She ducks back inside for a second, then comes back. "The door is still holding, thank Chauntea."
You search your memory for something you might have heard as you guided groups on the High Road. The tail, the wings, the speaking. It takes a second but a name comes to you.
Manticore. A creature who prefers human flesh over other food, but might be persuaded with food. Not the smartest, but capable of speech.
Whiskey will once more blow into his reed pipes and cast Faerie fire on the creature. The manticore must make a Dex save or be enveloped in the flames Any attack roll against an affected creature or object has advantage if the attacker can see it, and the affected creature or object can't benefit from being invisible. DC 13 Whiskey will then say “Mess him up Renin, you guys got this!” And give a bardic inspiration to Renin (d6)

Chars and campaigns:
Krov - Black Dragonborn Barbarian - lvl 2 - dragon of icespire peak, from the north
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Renin's Initiative: 23
Renin will fire at the manticore, attempting a sneak attack if he was able to successfully hide from it. DM, let me know if that is the case or not. I believe that if Renin has stealth then he gets advantage which affects the attack roll.
Upon hearing the racket, Whiskey would like to pick up pace. Whiskey will unsheathe his longsword as a precaution as they get closer

Do we keep Roscoe's attack, or would you like me to roll again?
Also, does he have advantage from Faerie Fire or Krog's proximity?
