Roscoe, you draw your shortbow and let the arrow fly. The arrow hits the manticore’s rear flank. It rears up and roars, body swinging around to face where the arrow came from.
As it does, Renin sees his chance and lets his arrow go. The arrow hits the lower back and a second late Krov rushes forth and swings his greatsword. The blade bites into the creature, blood spraying onto the ground.
Howling in pain, the manticore flies up 60 feet. Its tail points down and three spikes shoot toward Krov.

Those close to Whiskey hear the faint notes, then the manticore is haloed with a bright light.
((Krov, you have just received the bardic inspiration))
((ok so let me get one thing straight, i used my rage right? so the manticores dmg is halfed, correct? 7 misses me, 16 hits, 7+4=11 dmg and i have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage. Does it get halfed? If so then pls do the maths for me fewqgewqg im rly ******* bad at maths- they confuse me, but ig it would be 6 or 5 dmg?))

Roscoe, outdoorsy kind of rogue that he is, knocks another arrow, takes a deep breath, lets it out sssllloooooowwwwwlllly, takes careful aim, and waits patiently for the manticore to do something.
Krov gets hit with 2 of the tails projectiles and starts coughing blood. (5 dmg from the 1º and 4 from the 3º, cuz rage is still active, am i correct, or horribly wrong? sorry ive never played barbarian before-)

Whiskey blows a soothing tune on his pipes for Krov as he steps in front of the Dragonborn to protect his new friend from the beast, long sword ready in both hands
Bonus action to cast healing word on Krov: 6 For his action he will run up and use his long sword to attack: Attack: 21 Damage: 6
*dont forget about Faerie Fire guys, it’s super useful for us and I totally forgot as well lol
Whiskey will then realize his long sword is useless at the moment and will instead yell at the manticore “I bet you can’t hit the broad side of a barn!” And will cast the cantrip viscous mockery The creature must make a wisdom save DC 13 or take 1d4 damage: 4 And have disadvantage on its next attack

(I think Renin is next.... ignore this post if not)
Renin glances with concern to Krov, hoping that the sturdy dragonborn can bear the injuries. He is no healer.... all he can do to help is bring down the manticore as soon as possible. To that end, he lines up his next shot.
Manticore initiative: 19
Renin, roll for your attack and damage.
Roscoe's attack took the manticore by surprise. Now we go in order.
(Does Renin attack with stealth advantage, or no?)
I will say the manticore was distracted, first by his attack on the door, then by Roscoe's.
(Alright, rolling with advantage.)
Attack roll: 20
Damage: 9
Renin takes aim and lets loose, hoping to end the conflict quickly.
(1 bardic inspiration in reserve)
(I forgot to add the advantage but I rolled a 24 anyways so I don't think it matters lol)

Krov - Black Dragonborn Barbarian - lvl 2 - dragon of icespire peak, from the north
((It would be 5. 2 for the first strike. 3 cause you round down))
Renin grits his teeth and takes aim again, hoping to hit one of the creature's wings. It won't be easy to take down while it's skyborne.
Attack: 23
Damage: 5
The arrow flies past the wing, almost close enough to nick it but does no damage.
Xal-Thoth, about 25 lbs of meat would work.

The manticore laughs as the javalin falls short. "You should be happy I will kill you."
The tail points at Krov again.
"It will hurt."
