I'm hoping to be able to get help for any victims {praying someone else will be around to take care of that} while I chase the killer. (preferable as a shadow. I want to know where he is hiding more than why he is killing)
During Snarf's gift time: "It is a gift to be used as recreation, which you may/may not be able to get. Simply ask and we shall let you know if we have everything covered. You have the advantage that you job is CLEANING. Which means you could fish when the sun comes up, and clean later on. Also, that is a good point. I also recommend you take others with you on your fishing excursions. And how is the domicile you call a temple? Still on a leash?"
No hint of the gang war during the day. At night you don't witness any elf-on-elf crime, but there is a slightly increased presence of City Watch patrols.
"Snarf has ideas for this...thank you" as he scurries off upstairs
Another morning of guard duty, with a meeting this afternoon about employees.
Before you head out, Mr Russell hands Arthur some new equipment (already added to your sheet). He hands you a ballot box filled with voting supplies, a rather large gold coin emblazoned with the sigil of Acquisitions Incorporated as “heads” and has a “tails” image of a fourteen-headed hydra (it’s a big coin), and a horn that for some reason you know how to use now.
During your shift of guard duty, one of the Dungsweepers that goes by the name of 'Stooge' finds the disturbing result of magical experimentation in the form of a bag of ants. Every segment of the ants has been seperated from the other, the head, body, legs antenna al unattached, and all still moving. He almost quits on the spot with the others encouraging him to stick with it.
While the worker is dealing with the necromancy ants, Herald will peruse whatever notes he was able to acquire from the grey hands about the book. After shift the magic test on insects will also be passed on to the gray hands. (Only because according to the rules I have to spend 5 full days getting information). I also have a contact that I need to meet pertaining to whether acquisitions inc is fraudulent or legit. I wont be going back to the tavern tonight, but I will take my leisure again while the paladin.. and others.. are around.

The Acolyte at Blackstaff Tower thanked you for the training tool leant to them for their study, and hands you the spell book. The only notes you see left in there is a separate note that says: Disguise Self, Burning Hands, False Life, Shield, Unseen Servant, Witch Bolt.
When you report back to them, the Acolyte takes notes but assures you it might not be Necromancy.
Your contact meets with you wherever you want, but he doesn't speak. He just stands there looking at his empty hand.
You plan to be away from the Manor tonight, but will you be there for the meeting Mr Russell asked for this afternoon about future staffing issues?
To Herald : I'm not on leash for the temple . It's just a building , just as this building is. My DEVOTION is to Tyr. I've no problem helping you out if you need it as long as it doesn't interfere with the current job at hand. Keep in mind if you need healing I've got to have my rest so it would be wise if from time to time I do get that in. Now is there another direction you are going with this before I'm off to bed to get a better start with the guild I helped today? Ooc: sorry for the late start today. Arthur does his normal which pray, gear up , get breakfast , and meets up with that dung guild , this time on time
Ooc- no worries, as long as we don't get confused on the timing of the various things happening between the different order of the different posts. Probably one of the few good things about the low player turnout.
[What language is the book written in? Draconic? Orc? Common? Magical script? ]
"It was just a figure of speech friend." *Arthur*
Herald will watch the dwarf to see what he does while making a move to climb down into an alley where he can't be seen. The way he is eying the paladin, … is it a look that says [get my knife ready] or [he's gonna be sick]?
(guys, try to point out who you are talking to for obvious reasons of clarity)
The spell book is like all spell books, the letters and most of the symbols are recognizable. But the way it's all arranged make no sense to you. Like those super complicated math equations a professor would write on a chalkboard as a challenge.
The drunk dwarf just stumbles off, not caring about a damn thing. You might have to wait till he's done dropping a duece in the alley before you climb down(ah those heavy daytime drunks in the Dock Ward)
The different drunk, a human, that is heading towards Arthur has a look on his face that says curious more than puking or stabbing.
Ok, we'll hold off on the day change over till Herald gets his response in.
Alright

Unfortunately
Perception results:
You notice a drunk dwarf stumble around before falling down. When he gets back up and wanders off you notice a small pouch where he fell.
You also notice a drunk human looking at Arthur and follows y'all for a bit before approaching Arthur.

Ooc- right now just waiting on Herald's possible responses to the things he noticed before finishing up the guard duty.
I'm watching the drunk that is headed my way btw. I'm hoping he isn't about to pick a fight or worse.....upchuck on me

I'll wait for the dwarf, watching how the human plays his cards. The paladin can take care of himself in a fight, but just to be safe...
