"H...Here!" The crewman stutters as he hands Gorm the vial and dashes back to the ship, climbing the ladder and dissapearing below deck.
Gorm looks curiously at the vial that was pressed into his hand.He is momentarily stunned by the generosity.
“Thanks,” Gorm Diabhal says sheepishly. “But I’ll be fine with a little rest...” Gorm is trying to hand the vial back to the kind sailor before he notices that they’ve already disappeared below deck.He considers chasing them down to return the gift but worries that may be taken the wrong way.Instead Gorm safely stores the vial safely in his pack before finding some shade to sit in while he meditates and focuses on his healing mantra.
((Gorm will basically take a short rest and roll a Hit Die of healing: 7 of healing.))
As they're working, Kierro decides to help in a different way. He goes around to all the workers, casting guidance as needed when difficult tasks emerge.
(I haven't seen the workers making ability checks, but I would assume using guidance would improve the workers' progress by reducing mistakes made, thus helping the village be built faster.)
The builders thank you for the help, and by the time the time comes for you all to reconvene on the ship for dinner, they have made a lot of progress. During dinner, you all enjoy a fine meal below deck on a long oak table, surrounded by the rowdy crew, drinking and having a good time. By the time you set out again, the sun is beggining to set. The builder sget back to work, and you all settle in to relax, when suddenly a loud howl is heard from the woods. One of the builders scoffs, assuming it to be the same wolves from earlier. "Go chase 'em off, will ya?" he asks.
Khalin Gool's head comes up at the sound of the howl. Nature 16 (Is it wolves? If not, can he identify it?) "I thought we dealt with the wolves?" He says in a grumpy tone of voice. He will cast Mage Armour on himself.
"Well whatever is howling is probably hostile toward intruders, like us, so we might want to ready to repel boarders, as it were."

Bahazzar begins lighting torches and dropping them in a broad circle away from the building site. “I don’t know... they could be animals, but I’m a bit worried this may be a distraction. It’s odd seeing animals chased off then return so soon.”
"Sounds to me like something is killing the wolves, so either 'it' just eats wolves, it eats anything it can sink its teeth into, or it is on a rampage and will be after us next."

Knowing his limitations, Aiden will join Khalin near the edge of the torchlight and ready his bow. "Call out any sightings. We're ready here"he says with a nod to Khalin.
As the others stand ready, gorm sneaks into the woods. although he moves slowly, he continuously lands on leaves, creating a fairly loud crunching sound with every step. as he moves further in, it becomes almost pitch black, but the little bit of light emanating from the banner is enough to see the dead wolf lying in front of you. It's lying on it's side, pale, and weak. It's insides pour out from many small tears in it's belly, and it's lifeless eyes stare off into the distance. Before gorm gets a chance to signal the others however, a loud scream is heard back at the building site.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Khalin Gool spins round looking for the source of the scream. If he sees anything attacking any of the settlers, he'll blast it. If there is nothing there he will try and figure out what the blazing saddles is going on.

"Time to go gents. Let's go get our own back on these flea ridden, butt sniffing fur bags." He swings around and sets off in the direction of the howl.

Kierro nods to the builder, apologizing for interrupting his conversation and following the group outside.
"I can give us extra light if we need it. Perhaps on one of our swords. Who can see in the dark and who can't?"
Aruzhal - Lv 1 Tempest Cleric - Planescape: Lost
Khalin listens closely to the sound, and is able to determine that is is infact wolves. however, it does strike him that the wolf sounds distressed.
Gorm jump up and dashes toward the sound of the howls, readying his quarterstaff and using his dark vision (if needed) to try to spot the beasts.

Therg raises a hand. "I need light." He holds out a frayed piece of a war banner "This ought to work."
Kierro reaches out and touches the banner. A soft, warm glow emanates from it, giving light to an area around Therg.
